1- one can easily quote a post and reply with a smiley or just few words..need not be 150 characters.
2- one cant play games where we obviously don't write so much..its just one word to one sentence.
Besides I've seen coolbies themselves making posts like 'thanks for sharing'
Lastly pictures were always meant to be shared in the pic gallery only but when there is an interesting pic or something with the pic one got to share..a topic should be welcome.. ppl don't usually check the gallery..plus one cant post comments der..
