Saif & Sonakshi in Judwaa remake-confirmed

July 11, 2012, (Sawfnews.com) - Sonakshi Sinha is reportedly confirmed for Judwaa Remake, a Sajid Khan directorial headlining Saif Ali Khan in a double role. The other leading lady is yet to be finalized.

"They (Sonakshi and Nadiadwala) haven't had discussions recently, since they are all busy. Sonakshi, however, is confirmed to star as one of the two heroines in the film. She is like family to producer Sajid Nadiadwala," an insider told HT.

The young but surprisingly mature Sonakshi played politically correct, when asked for a confirmation.

"I can only say that we are in talks about it, but nothing has been confirmed yet," she said.

Reports that Sonakshi was being considered for a sequel to Nadiadwala's 1997 hit Judwaa, started in May. The original film had Salman Khan in lead roles.

Filming for the sequel, which will reportedly feature many tweaks, will start in early 2013.

Sajid Nadiadwala had earlier confirmed Sonakshi in Shirish Kunder directorial Kick, headlining Salman khan. Recently it has been reported that the leading lady for Kick has not yet been finalized. Filming is scheduled for November.

Sonakshi will begin filming for Milan Luthria's Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai Again opposite Imran Khan in August.

She will be next seen in Shirish Kunder's Joker with Akshay Kumar. The film will bow in theaters on August 15.

Her other pending releases include Son Of Sardar with Ajay Devgn, Dabangg 2 with Salman Khan and Lootera opposite Ranveer Singh.
