Is Parichay the pity & petty show of PH?

We all are well aware of how low-budget parichay is for the PH & what step treatment is shown towards the show, but there is a limit to everything. This is the only show of PH which has a unique concept, great star cast & all the potential to rock the TRP charts but, still no one seems to bother about it except the faithful fans

The actors are given the discards of other show in the name of new wardrobe 😡, the PH can't afford to spend 2 cents worth of its money on a creative writer 😲, am sure that the actors of parichay are paid pittance as compared to the other show's actors. The leads of the show aren't even sent on a khandala HM 😕 There seems to be no effort done to promote the show in any media, only false rumors & pathetic PR stunts are done to cover up the mess 🤢 to add more insult, the show is oscillating between the teams & internal politics is havocing the already messed up show 😭

But hey, the PH has all the time & money to send the cast of other show to Australia & Dubai & change the entire wardrobe, style, look & PR budget to start the promotions a month earlier 😡 😡

This is too much of a partiality, EK mata do something before parichay fades away to oblivion 😔

You hit the nail on the head. Whatever Parichay has managed to achieve is despite the PH not because of it... Parichay has received horrible,step-motherly treatment from the PH. its only because it has such a terrific cast of actors that it has managed to do well. What surprises me is that the PH had given the show such a great launch campaign. Those diary entries of Kunal that became promos for a month was truly innovative and inspired.. What happened after that??? 😭

I've noticed this too. Ekta generally talks about all her shows but never have I heard her talk much about Parichay. Maybe its because Samir challenges the nonsense she wants to force into the show and this drives her away from it. Sometimes I feel happy that Ekta Kapoor stays far far far away from Parichay because if she was taking charge then we would see all kinds of nonsense that is currently going on in her other shows. I swear, the day Ekta starts forcing her ideas in the show is the day Samir will probably walk out of the nonsense. Definitely don't want to see that!

I really don't care for the costumes or venues, Ekta should spend more money hiring some good writers so that the show can become meaningful.

agree with you... want ekta far away from parichay...she will spoil the story by taking leaps and leaps or separation tracks...i often feel its not her story...this is not a BT show...

Thanks guys for your views...i definitely don't want EK to come make khichadi of the show...all i want is for her to give due credit to the actors & the show & put someone in charge of the show who loves kunal chopra like we all do...so that he/she can bring back the charm & introduce us to the ultimate demand of ours, which is Kunal's parichay & no one else

I was pissed off after seeing the other show's cast in Dubai in SBB& SBS today which made me post this 😉 I don't care what other shows of her do until & unless Parichay isn't ignored so blatantly.

Ramya, there is no doubt that our show is getting "step-motherly" treatment from the PH and as you have pointed out the other show is always in the limelight with news about it in the media... Our show does not seem to get any budget...

Yeah.. I have heard that she is partial to her other shows and I prefer her to be that way. Don't want her to meddle too much with parichay. Though I have not watched any other shows, I heard from some of our friends about how notorious the story line can become if she takes interest.. hope she just gives the dough and stays away from our show. I want Sameer to have an upper hand in the making of parichay not EK. I know sometimes it is inevitable and she does meddle like she is doing now

Yesterday my parents were watching EK's beloved show and they were in Dubai. Before I think they went Australia. Really, you have that in budget????

here in Parichay the vacation SINAL gets is in jail. I don't want lavishness to spread in Parichay; but get decent PR, proper promotion, good team to work on the show. Only reason show is doing well is because of the cast. The only time show was properly promoted was before show started.

Yesterday I really flipped out upon seeing abroad and had to ask my parents to watch it on other tv as I just couldn't take it. 😡

We have best concept, best characters and amazing star cast but this is the treatment we receive???????

To start with, hiring writers who can take up the challenge to write from the male perspective would certainly help.
I have heard it being mentioned on the forum that one reason for SS's frequent absences from what was to be his show, is that he is expensive while as a new comer Siddhi gets paid far less, thus we see more of the female in a male centric show. Good for Keerti, but is it doing the show any good?? Don't they realize that in order to reap dividends you first have to invest in something? This cheap tactic is certainly reflecting in the current TRPs

Ramya dnt know why this stepmthrly treatmnt.Ystdy in my post i said abt these sony shows of PH which r truly given attention that one even aftr a leap(which none of it's fans wantd) is looking great-Dubai,snow park,new characters,new wardrobe.My mom was watchng n i just got attractd to that 5yr old cute girl on the show n though i nevr watch the show her scene with her mom brought tears into my eyes. I was feeling sad later thinking of kunal in jail n present cndition of parichay.It's all bcs of dumb creatives who r playing with kunal chopra's parichay :-(
