But the babies didn't kick n so Maan continued "Oh lagta hai Princesses Papa se Naraz hoke so gayi… Ab Papa ko kaun maaf karega. Sachi Princesses sorry aage se kabhi late nahi honge aapke Papa."

As he told that he felt 2 kicks as if telling him that they have forgiven him n they are not angry on him anymore.

Maan "Aww Meri Princesses ne aapne Papa ko maaf kardiya. Thank u Princesses" he kissed her bump and began talking about many things.

Geet woke up when she felt the babies kicking her very hard n then she heard Maan saying Papa n was surprised to see that her babies had accepted Maan as their Papa their protector.

After talking for sometime Maan went to his room n slept off as he was tired from the meetings but when he was talking to his Princesses he never felt tired instead all his tiredness would vanish whenever he talked to his Princesses.

Here the word "PAPA" was ringing in Geet's mind. She thought about Dev who was the biological father of her babies but he didn't even try to protect them instead called them as BOJH while Maan who didn't have any relation with her babies was always there to protect them…without any condition…without any expectation…!! When she was about to die..maan was there..and Dev..whom she loved so dearly was not..! huh! What a paradox!!!! Stragers have something called "humanity" but your own people actually forget such things when it comes to their own greed!!! Dev didn't deserve to be called a father of her babies after he killed his first child..tears rolled out of her eyes…he killed their baby..no not "their" but "her baby". How will she ever face her hen she goes to heaven? What will she answer when she asked her "mumma..why did you kill me?..just because I was a girl? Papa din't love me na…"
she cried, covering her mouth with her hands…!!! She felt so guilty..she couldn't save her!!! Why???

She was helpless…. But not anymore. She won't let history repeat itself!!! maan was there with her right… her mind wandered back to thetime he had saved her babies…!!! And how true he was… to call himself their father..he indeed was their father!!!

Thinking about all this she slept off. The next morning Meera was thinking of a plan to disclose to Geet about going to Palampur to file a complaint against Brij and her family when Yash came and said "Meera humara plan kaam kar gaya. Ab Pammi aur Dev ko koi nahi bacha sakta. Maine who saare sabut ek trusted friend ke pass rakhe hai aur samay aane par hum who sabut use le lenge aur court main pesh kar denge"

Meera "Kya??? Tum sach keh rahe ho na Yash??? Yeh bohut aacha huva. Aacha ab yeh socho ke Geet ko kaise bataye ke complaint file karne Palampur jana padega taaki use stress na ho aur case file bhi hojaye."

Yash "Haan main yahi soch raha tha. Tum kuch khane ko banao tab tak main kuch sochta hu"

Meera "Haan main banati hu lekin yeh Maan kaha hai??? Aaj tak toh kabhi itne late tak nahi soya woh"

Yash "Haan who kal raat ko bohut late aaya tha na isiliye abhi tak so raha hai. Todhi der sone do usse."

Meera "Theek hai main tumhare liye kuch bana ke lati hu"

Meera then goes & prepares breakfast for all & goes to wake up Geet. Geet gets up lazily and freshens up n goes to the dining area, she wishes Yash n has her breakfast.

After breakfast Meera asks Geet to wake up Maan till she helps Yash. Geet then slowly walked to the guest room next to hers n knocks but doesn't get any reply.

Geet (ST) "Geet tub hi na jhalli hai. Meera ne tujhe unhe uthane bheja hai aur tu door knock kar rahi hai. Agar who jag rahe hote toh Meera tujhe yaha kyu bhejti" n hits her palm on her forehead n enters Maan's room.

As she sees Maan, she gasps n turns n shouts, "Babajiii……."

Maan who was disturbed by the knocks gets up when he hears Geet's shout n rushes to her n asked, "Geet tum theek ho na??? Kahi dard ho raha hai kya??? Princesses toh theek hai na??? Tum kuch bolti kyu nahi???"

Geet was touched by his concern n turns towars him but then seeing him again turns away closing her eyes with her hands n said, "CHUP…. Kitna bol rahe hai aap??? Aur main tabhi bolungi na jab aap mujhe bolne doge??? Phele aap shirt phenye baad main baat kijye."

Maan realized that he was shirtless as last night he was feeling very hot n the A/C wasn't working n then searched his shirt n wore it quickly

Maan "Ab tum dekh sakti ho." Geet turned n said, "Woh Meera aap ko breakfast ke liye bula rahi hai."

Maan "Oh ok. Main abhi fresh hoke aata hu" n then he bent on his knees n caressed her baby bump m said "Good morning Princesses. Aap dono theek se soye na???" n felt a kick n then continued "Acha ab main fresh hoke aata hu aur main aap se baad main baat karta hu."

Geet had somehow accepted that Maan only deserved to be their Papa n smiled listening to his talks. She wanted to ask something but hesitated as to what he may think. Maan who had got up n was going to freshen up saw Geet's face n saw that she was trying to say something but was hesitating so he asked, "Geet tumhe kuch chahiye???"

Geet, "Ji…Na…Nahi." N mentally wacked herself n then said, "Haan who mujhe aapse ek baat karni thi."

Maan, "Phele tum yaha bhetho" N helped her to sit on his bed n then continued, "Haan ab bolo"

Geet, "Who kal raat…." But stopped herself from continuing.

Maan, "Kal raat kya Geet??? Tum be jijak bolo."

Geet, "Who kal raat jab aap der tak nahi aaye the toh yeh dono aapko bohut miss kar rahi thi. Toh agar aapko phir se late huva toh aap kya mujhe inform kar denge plz."

Maan, "Oh…. Im so sorry Geet. Meri wajhe se tumhe bohut pareshaani huvi aur main agaye se khayal rakhunga ke agar aisa kuch huva toh main tumhe bata dunga. Acha yeh mera no. hai agar zyada pareshaan kare toh call kar dena." N gave his no.

Geet, "Iski koi zaroorat nahi hai. Aapko khamaka pareshaani hogi" but Maan didn't listen n gave his no. to her n then went to get fresh while Geet left his room.

Geet then decided to tell Meera that she knew about the complaint n was ready to go to Palampur to case a file so she went to the living room where Meera was working on some file n said, "Meera mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai."

Meera closed the files she was working on n said, "Geet mujhe bhi tujhe ek zaroori baat karni hai. Phele tum yaha baitho aur phir bata kya baat karni hai tujhe."

Geet sat n said, "Umm…. Kal jab tu,Yash aur Maan mere room main mere case ke baare main baat kar rahe the tab maine sab sun liya aur main Palampur jane ke liye tayar hu complaint file karne."

Meera was shocked as she didn't want Geet to get to know about all this, this way atleast but alas it was too late know. She sighed n said, "Nahi Geet main tujhe waha jaake apne aur apni bachiyo ki jaan ko khatre main nahi daalne dungi. Tu chinta mat kar hum log mil ke kuch aur raasta soch lenge."

Geet, "Meera main jaanti hu ke tujhe meri fikar ho rahi hai lekin main apni bachiyo ke liye hi yeh sab kar rahi hu. Agar main aaj chup bheth gayi toh shayad kal yeh phir se kisi aur ke saath ho ya phir meri apni bachiyo ke saath ho aur tab shayad meri bachiyo ke sawal ka main jawab na de pao ke maine apne kadam piche hata liye ke meri jaan khatre main padh sakti thi isiliye main yeh complaint file karungi aapne liye na sahi lekin meri bachiyo ke surakshit jeevan ke liye."

Meera, "Geet main samjhti hu. Main tujhe piche hatne ko nahi bol rahi lekin abhi teri tabiyat theek nahi hai toh main bas yeh kel rahi hu ke teri tabiyat todhi theek hojaye uske baad hum Palampur jayenge."

Geet, "Meera main phir se yeh himmat shayad nahi kar pao Palampur jane ki aur main theek hu aur waise bhi mere pass tu,Yash aur Maan hai na mera khayal rakhne ko toh meri tabiyat ko kuch nahi hoga. Plz Meera maan jaa."

Meera shook her head at Geet's stubbornness n then said, "Theek hai hum kal jayenge."

Geet smiled n then went to rest while Meera told Maan n Yash about Geet's decision.

Maan, "Theek hai toh main apni saari meetings aaj khatam kar deta hu." N left for his meetings.

Yash assured Meera that everything will be fine n then they got to their respective works.

Geet rested for a while n then thought about the next day n how her lifewill change from then on. The day passed n Maan returned by dinner time n they all spent sometime talking n remembering their college days n those beautiful moments.

After sometime they retired to room n a tension started building in Geet thinking about the next day n soon she dozed off in those thoughts.

The next morning all were very quiet n tensed n they finished breakfast n left for Palampur. Geet was having a very restless feeling as if something is going to go wrong but she didn't voice it out or else Meera would happily cancel the trip.

Yash was driving n Meera sat in the front leaving Maan n Geet to sit on the backseat. As Maan felt Geet tensed he held her hand n was caressing it with his thumb to calm her down. Geet calmed down in sometime but Maan didn't leave her hand n neither did Geet object. After an hour Geet dozed off with her head on his shoulder but was not finding a comfortable place n kept moving every 5-10 mins. Maan noticed it n pulled her a bit close n kept her head on his chest n put his arm around her shoulder. Geet smiled a bit feeling the warm embrace n snuggled more. Maan smiled n was just staring at her face which looked so peaceful. He soon dozed off staring at her.

After three hours they reached Palampur n went to the police station. Geet was again tensed. Maan held her hand n looked into her eyes n said, "Kuch nahi hoga Geet main hoon tumhare saath."

Geet nodded n covered her face with the dupatta for precaution n they entered the police station. As she removed the dupatta from her face,the inspector saw her n got very angry n said, "Tum yaha kyu aayi ho humare gaon ki izaat kharab karne ke baad???"

Geet was hurt by his words n tears welled up in her eyes but she didn't let them out as she knew she had to face all this for her daughters n gulped the lump in her throat n said, "Mujhe complaint file karvani hai Brij Handa aur Poore Handa parivaar ke khilaaf mujhe aur meri bachiyo ko marne ki koshish karne ke liye."

As the inspector heard he got even more angry n said, "Main tumhari complaint likh ke humare gaon ki izaat duniya ke samne kharab nahi karunga. Samjhi tum."

Maan hearing it said, "Isse phele ke tum kuch kaho main tumhe batana chahta hu ke agar tumne complaint file nahi kiya toh tum suspend hojauge."

The inspector laughed mockingly n said, "Main complaint nahi likhunga.Aur waise bhi tum kaun ho jo mujhe suspend karvayega… " n folding his arms on his chest said, "Ab kya karoge tum??? Main bhi toh dekhu tum kaise mujhe suspend karvate ho???"

Maan got angry n said in a stern voice, "Toh theek hai apna suspension letter ke liye tayar rehne" n dialed the commissioner's no. n kept it on loudspeaker.

Maan, "Hello commissioner sir, Main Maan Singh Khurana baat kar raha hu."
