PART - 45
Maan was completely stunned… His anger rose to an all time high as he gritted his teeth…
"Fine… Good work and do keep me informed…"
He disconnected the call and looked at his family… He closed his eyes to keep his temper in check reminding himself that this was not some client meeting or supplier, this was his family… he took a deep breath and finally asked-
"Pari kahan hai???"
Doctor had finally given Maan permission to see his Geet… He slowly slid in the ward, his eyes searching for his beloved, his Meet… That's when his gaze stopped at a frail pale body lying amidst an array of numerous tubes and drips… His heart bled at the sight… He couldn't bear to see his Jaan so quite and lifeless…
He always believed in punishing those severely who hurt his Geet…. And today unknowingly he was the one, the reason of his Geet's agony… He never meant her to hear all that but maybe there was something else in fate stored for them… He wanted to kill himself because he was the reason due to which his Geet's and their Babies' life got threatened… But he couldn't even do that as his life was not his own… It was Geet's and he had no right over it…
He held her hand which was resting on her cute little baby bump and kept his head on it when two little drops slowly slid on their enter twined hands…
"M… M… Maa.. Maan…."
Geet murmured hoarsely…
Maan sat up with a jerk… He saw the her eye balls moving behind those veiled eyes and her fragile fingers moving a little…
"Geet… Jaan dekho main yahin hoon… Geet… Geet…"
Slowly Geet fluttered her eyelashes gaining consciousness… Her eyes tried to adjust to the light… As soon as she opened her eyes a little, her heart did a flip-flop seeing her soul in front of her but she frowned when she saw those ugly enemies of hers… MAAN's TEARS…
With a lot of difficulty she managed to lift her hand as her body was not co-operating with her due to excessive weakness…
Maan immediately held her hand when he saw her struggling…
"Yeh tum kya kar rahi ho Jaan… Tum abhi bhi bahut weak ho… Agar tumhe kuchh chhaiyeh toh mujhe batao na… Bolo kya chaiyeh??"
Geet tried to say something but suddenly everything turned black words failed to come out from her mouth… When she suddenly saw two cute little babies neatly wrapped in a cloth made of rose petals in front of her… She squealed in delight and turned around to look for Maan to show them to him but he was nowhere to be found…
She got very confused with her surroundings as everything was a little hazy, but she shrugged it off and concentrated on the two cotton balls in front of her…
She was busy admiring them when one of the babies opened his eyes and looked at her with those cute mesmerizing black ones…
Geet was in complete awe of him and she knew at once who he was, Junior Maan Singh Khurana, a replica of Maan…
She apprehensively offered the baby one of her fingers while the boy delightfully clutched it in his little palm… At the same time, the other baby started shifting restlessly, as if struggling to breathe…
Geet's own heartbeat stopped seeing the little fur ball turning redder by the minute due to breathing problem…
Abhi mujh mein kahin,

Geet tried to pick up the baby but Junior Maan refused to let her finger go… She tried to touch the baby with her other hand but by then both the babies started going away from her as if some evil force was snatching them away from her… Specially the second baby…
"Maan… Maaan… NAHIII….."
"Geet… Geet… Kya hua?? Geet utho… Geet…"
Geet opened her eyes widely in a go and woke up panting badly… Her heart was still throbbing widely… She looked up to see her savior, her Maan…
"Maan… Woh… hamare bachche… saans nahi… woh… aap jaisa… aur who dusara… ussey mujhsey door… kahan gayi… Woh mera…"
Maan couldn't make out head or tail of what was Geet saying but he realized that she had seen a bad dream related to their babies… He took her in his embrace and ran his hand up and down her back to calm her..
"Shh… Relax… Ekk bura sapna tha Geet… Hamare bachche bilkul theek hai… Just relax…"
"Sachchhi???"
Geet looked up at him with an expression resembling a child seeking mother's assurance…
"Muchchi.. Abb… Dekho… Mahsoos karo unhe…"
Saying that Maan kept her hand over her belly and Geet found immense relief sweeping over her when she felt two kicks one after the other… She kept her head on Maan's broad chest as her temple was paining badly due to the sudden exposure of light to her eyes…
Maan's heart went out to his little wify in front of him who was so vulnerable… He was waiting for his Geet to get up when he heard her moan his name; he now realized that she was calling him in his dream… He made a promise to himself to take care of all his three children now- His two little babies and the mom of his babies- his smallest baby…
Maan was highly irritated with Vicky and Pari; his so called siblings… Ever since Pari had become a little normal, she had turned into a pure devil… He cursed the day when he readily accepted these two with open arms… True, that he always craved for a sibling since he never had good or trustworthy friends… He wanted someone with whom he could share his thoughts… He specially missed that warmth and comfort when Geet was in London… He had no one at that time… But now he had everyone, his Geet, their babies, his mom-dad, Geet's mom-dad i.e. his second mom-dad, Dadima and UGGHHH… two notorious siblings who were making his life HELL…
He actually needed no one now since he had his Jaan, his Meet but unfortunately relationships were not based on convenience… He knew very well that his siblings were up to something when they convinced Geet that she had missed a lot since she had not gone out of home from last 2 months except of curse the unfortunate hospital trip… Maan dreaded even the thought of it…
And today early morning an over enthusiastic Geet nearly ate his mind to asking , no... no… ordering him to take her out for a movie and he had no option but to agree specially remembering the disastrous after effects of troubling her combined with her mood swings…
Now he sincerely hoped that all remained well as he had not missed the sniggers and evil looks casted his way by both of them specially Vicky…
"Uff yeh kahan phas gaya main???"
