he wil listen to all what shyaam says and what Khushi says..

but after shyaam cross his limit and that tooo blaming Khushi who he loves and most trust also risk her life for him...so he won't stand silent at that time...he will slap case of that and then he will speak..here ASR not an innocent sweet charactr..if he open his mouth then every thing over...

The difference between Arnav's behavious and Shyams is that Arnav said it to Khushi in private when he truly believed she had wronged him AND he was hurting inside because he loved her - whereas Shyam said it to save his own skin in front of the whole family when he is guilty of all the accusations Khushi is throwing at him PLUS attempted murder of his wife and his own baby, kidnap and attempted murder of Arnav, almost committing begamy with Khushi, almost killing Khushi's dad, who is also a Mooche, manupulator of the whole Raizada family...the list goes on and on. Please people, stop the comparison...this is what the story is all about...love and hate between the star crossed lovers - in case you were not aware.

First of all this is not bashing ASR. I did mention that in my post. DID you read it at all? Second of all I am not defending Shyam's behaviour at all. He is a loser.

Do learn to read before you get rubbed the wrong way for the sake of getting rubbed the wrong way. And just because they are star crossed lover does not give ASR the leeway to behave badly with Khushi as he has been doing all this while and the get all high and mighty when someone else does the same.

I think you are missing the story, remember the dialogues Arnav said during the Heer-Ranjha play, it may put everything in perspective for you. Whatever Arnav says or his behavior with Khushi is just a facade of his true feelings for her.

Without any kind of redemption on his part. any suffering or awakening of how much he has wronged Khushi or any realization that Khushi is innocent, it is a little hard to believe that he will slap Shyam for this. I am finding it tough to see him in Khushi's champions role. In Fact NK is doing a super JOB of that role.
It would have been fine if in some way it was shown that ASR totally believes Khushi...because of some story of realization beforehand. He cannot be realising that she is innocent after this conversation because she is not sounding innocent in this.
Right now from what we have seen he loves her, but he does not know the whole story and there is really no reason for him to believe her version completely to my mind...
I am just pointing out something... trying to understand the character... not bashing anyone

@bold, although its been said that the post is not meant for bashing, unfortunately this does come across as bashing my friend! First of all, he called Khushi Characterless only when he TRULY believed, that she is one unlike Shyam! We all know what Shyam is trying to do here. If we all rewind our memory, Khushi called ASR "character dheela" long time ago, in the month of Sept last year, when she doesn't have any business with his personal life and without any knowledge of what kind of relationship he had with his girl friend! So its not just ASR, it came from Khushi too much earlier!

He doesn't need to know the whole story of Khushi's investigation to know if she is innocent or not. Just because they haven't shown his realization he can not be judged as if he is already misunderstanding Khushi or concluding her to be innocent only after all this conversation.

Anyway, he slapped Shyam when he called her "characterless" which as we know is the filthiest comment that no righteous woman should ever have to listen to. Its entirely different category than being called "gold digger" or" greedy". ASR called her the latter when he didn't know her enough / love her as much.

Double standards is only when one believes in one thing and does another. Here ASR DOES believe that she is NOT characterless. At the door step, he asked her for proof for " sab ke liye" not for him. Just because they haven't shown him openly admitting her to be innocent, it should n't be assumed that he still believes her to be guilty! Actually all his words/ actions during this track only showed that he does believe her now.

Also, as some one rightly pointed out, the reason for keeping Shyam being his kidnapper was kept in dark for him, only to show that he trusts her unconditionally now, as he would believe in her even w/o any so called proofs which may actually contraindicate! This is certainly not double standards. His protecting her today only shows what a changed man he is!

and really clapped by myself, when NK stood up, it was like, when khushi was having no word at certain time, NK stood up. It means a lot when someone is weak at some point.

ASR did called Khushi characterless during their fight when Khushi abt to commit suicide on the terrace before knowing that Shyam(his jijaji) was Khushi ex-fiancee and paying guest at GH...Back then he was unable to justify whether Khushi telling him the truth or not...He still do not have any trust upon Khushi but after knowing that now Khushi willing to sacrifice her life for him be back home safely to Shantivan he kind of appreciate which means Khushi really kept to her promise during their telepathy conversation...

Maybe today episode, we may heard Payal telling everyone abt Shyam devious and lying antics when he engage to Khushi and lying to the Gupta that his already married in the 1st place.Remember that Khushi also did told ASR but he was confused and refuse to believe her maybe after hearing from Payal confessions to all, ASR will get to know that all this while Khushi was innocent afterall...ASR really cared towards Payal as a brother-in law...believe me he will definitely believe her...and when Shyam was abt to deny again and create another excuse by saying why shld I marry to a characterless and nonsensical gal like her...that's where our hotwa ASR approach him and give a the most awaiting SLAP ever...
