Touched by the air of Love - Jai and Bani

Here's a short poem I wrote about Jai and Bani, I hope you all will like it!

Pia left him bleeding in love

With no one to nurse his wounds

Protection he sought

To save himself from love

Yet who said loved knocked before it came

Into it he drowned and drowned

Until he found no woman had touched him

The way Bani did

She touched his soul

And spread light into the darkest facades

Of his life

Heart broken in love

Bani never knew how to fall in love again

Until Jai's presence made a difference

Until she found herself existing for him,

Caring for him and at last

Loving him

She loved him deeper than the depths of love

And cared for even a tiny scratch on him

No one knew who would knock next

Who knew a page from the past?

Will darken their present?

Jai's one mistake

Made Bani question her life

The one she loves more than herself

Was why she was motherless?

Now comes a tough tide

Choosing between love and family

Choosing between forgiveness and anger

Yet Jai is determined

To find every nook of happiness

And ensure his child and his wife

Remain forever in his life.
