Guys, why few (who dont accept the newbie as Gopi)amongst us are getting personal with Dev?? What has she done to us?? Nothing, isnt it??? We have absolute no authority to criticize her personally and especially on her personal life.
Yes, we can criticize her acting as "Gopi". But personally, i have to share this, I caught up with some of her episodes in her previous show on the you tube, her character there was of a vibrant girl and an out going and out spoken one, I must say, she was too very good at it and was adorable too. That showed she aint a bad actress at all.
I do understand, when "Gopi" is taken into consideration we all are used to seeing Giaa playing the role at its best. I do remember, when the show had hit the screens many had criticized M.Nazim and Giaa and had called them several names, but lets not forget that time the show was just starting, we ourselves were trying to actually understand the characters as the actors were playing it. Once, we understood the graph of the characters we accepted them warmly and whole heartedly, didnt we?? And its because of us that the show has been running for 2.5years. The way Giaa was sacked from the show was really pathetic and cruel on the part of the SP and PH and the reason "Giaas dancing in JDJ will hammer down Gopis image" was even more pathetic and this shook Giaa and GiNa fans to the core, including me. But being Giaas fans we are doing all our best to get her back to the show with due respect, isnt it?? Tell me, frankly personally bashing Dev up is it actually helping us to get Giaa back in the show by any sort??? No, isnt it??? Then why bash her personally and who are we to interfere in Devs personal life?? Nobody.
As far as Devs acting as Gopi is concerned, I know many of us cant relate to her, including me, whatever could be the reason behind it. I agree, she isnt playing Gopi to that caliber of which we are used to seeing. Personally, what I feel is that Dev is lacking "involvement" in the show as well as the character. Dev, isnt aware of the ups and downs of Gopi, of which we as the viewers of SNS are aware off from the past 2.5years, so tell me how is Dev responsible for not knowing the history of Gopi??
According to me, its the Directors fault here. Its he/she who is failing some way or the other to make Dev understand the depths of Gopis pain, trials, tribulations and sorrow of which we, the audience and Giaa is well aware off. Dev, recites the lines which the writer gives her and she acts the way the way the Director tells her to do it. how is Dev responsible, if the Directors of teh show might be telling to refer the CDs of Giaa whilst enacting the scenes??? Dev is merely doing her job and dancing to the tunes of the Directors, isnt it?? Just think about it at least once.
Frankly speaking, the viewers havent accepted Dev as Gopi in a wide range, including me and hence many say "emotional" connect with the show is lost ie because we all are emotionally attached to see Giaa as Gopi and the way Giaa was shown the doors of the show was a major turn off fro many people, including me. Slowly and steadily people have detached themselves from the show, and the TRPs of the show are actually saying that the viewers arent attached to SNS any longer as they were before, which is the saddest but the truth of the show.
PS- I am not making anyone (who dont accept newbie as Gopi vahu) accept Dev as Gopi here. But personally i feel that, we have no absolute no authority to bash someone on the personal level and interfere in their personal lives. am sorry to hurt anyone, must have been unintentional. Last but not the least sorry for such a long post (Its vinders company, i guess which makes me put up such long post 😆)
A humble request guys, please act wisely and dont bash Dev personally. and please dont bash me up either 😳
And let me know your views over this rant, I want to how right or wrong i am 😳 Btw, I wouldnt mind praises coming to me on the "personal" level, if yu like the post 😉😳
