So this is my INSA thought for the day 😆
When in love
Indu Singh was head over heels in love with Sanchi when he did fall for her... propriety and decorum were not something cared for...He was so madly in love with her, that reality was obscured from him...
When NOT in love
However, ever since the couple began warring... Indu said he hates her and he has meant it... He might not be able to physically harm her, but he just refuses to be SWAYED by anything she says or does...
Now that Sanchi has come to help him, he took his own time to believe her...yes, he does not want her to get into trouble with the police, but that does not mean he is ready to fall head over heels in love with her in a whim! He respects the fact that she is a girl and that she was something to him once, but nothing beyond that at this point of time. Sanchi too has been true to her character, she felt sorry she misunderstood him, but she didn't really care for him or anything of the sort!
However, the one thing that WAS different between their attitudes yesterday compared to their attitudes lately, was that they were NOT playing MIND GAMES! It was a straightforward tussle between two people who refuse to get along - bless them!
Yesterday's episode was a testament to that
I have seen other serials where such chases and absconding segments would have given rise to numerous instants of high drama, larger-than-life scenarios, many eye-locks/trip-falls between warring couple and whatnot! (I admit, I've been fans of those serials too 😳)
but yesterday was something different,
- Every time Sanchi needed help to ascend a steep rock, Indu was there to give her his hand, but neither did she fuss about it nor did he! I know how many romantic situations this would have perpetrated in other serials.
- He went to check out if the mansion was safe but created no hullaboo out of it. If needed he'd ensure no harm came upon her, but that didn't mean he was ready to be her bodyguard! Similarly, she never acted like she needed his help/protection.
- Being the antithesis of a usual hero, he did not melt at the sight of an exhausted Sanchi. She was parched, but there he was - on the verge of being mean & mocking her about it. However, the reality was that he couldn't have done anything about it anyway - the forest is practically deserted.
- If he had a gash on his forehead, she didn't pay much attention to it. if she had a gash on her hand, he didn't pay much attention to it. When he was in love, he'd have raised a furore if something like this happened to Sanchi, but now he couldn't care less. This is how he's when normal - a typical gunda! If someone got hurt, just live it - it'll heal in its own good time.
- The fact that she flopped down all fatigued, prodded him to lend her advice on exercise and diet instead of gazing upon her with melted hazel eyes.
- WELL! The bike chase! In many other scenarios we'd have seen a dashing Indu in slow motion -sweat pouring over bloodshot eyes as he kickstarted the motorbike with chunky black boots, flexing his muscles as he spurred the throttle, the bike spewing smoke, revving gears and raising dust as it flees at breakneck speed...and to top it all a frightened girl clinging to her life on his back! Instead, we saw a typical Indian couple trying to evade the police - A man in a blue kurta with kolhapuri sandals a helmet and riding probably at 80-90 kms/hr, with his wife nagging/advising him from behind. Though momentarily disappointed, I then realized how realistic the whole portrayal was...
- Even in the upcoming sbs segment, we see Sanchi - her hair tied up in a mess as she bumps into Indu. Correction noted - she doesn't fall into his arms; she bumps into him... it was NOT meant to be a hair all open...breeze blowing, girl tripping boy catching her scenario!
Please CVs don't change the realism you are bringing out...hence, when the romance does blossom, it'd feel so realistic...please don't tone down the passion, boldness, raw manner or the naturalness this serial is currently portraying!
Basically, depending on the circumstances and individuals, both love and hatred take their own time to come or go...
Sanchi is a person who needs time to fall in love,
Indu is a person who needs time to forgo his hatred/pain
