@ Lashy lovely weekend post! I completely agree with you on how realism is a key factor in RJN, especially in the way INSA romance is portrayed. I admit though sometimes I highly doubted whether Indu or Sanchi had a brain cell between them, during their mad tit for tat war. Geez some of their stunts and half-baked schemes were enough to convince you that Veenaji and Malti Devi, must have dropped them on their heads one too many times during their childhoods!
But nevertheless I love the way they both have this 'never say die' spirit and keep getting back up to go another round in the ring, no matter how badly they have been knocked down. Also CV's have done an admirable job, of maintaining the key components of both Indu and Sanchi.
He's been for a stroll over to the dark side, but Indu has still managed to remain steadfastly loyal and truthful to Sanchi. And she in turn has somehow despite all his BS never waived in her faith in herself and her belief that Indu is a man with strict principles.
Sigh Indu once said they were one soul in two bodies, and I so agree with him. Lol but hopefully he will one day realize that Sanchi is all soul and brains, and he is all soul and heart. Together they are the full package!
This slow burning romance is perfect for them, and CV's have to be very carefully not to mess the pace of it. Indu has to learn to back off, and respect Sanchi's space and feelings, not to mention the budding woman herself. Whilst Sanchi has to become far more honorable in her treatment of him, and his emotions. Also she has to learn to loosen the control over her heart and allow herself to love him. I so wish she realizes that she could have it all, the great career, and the perfect man. It doesn't have to be the one or the other.
And Indu has to tighten the control over his emotions, and accept the fact that he might have to play second fiddle in her life for sometime, if he truly wants to be in it.
@ Namz lol I loved the fall too. It was so forcefull, but still so romantic. God I'm off to swoon land again! But like you what I really want as opposed to all the cliche hand brushes, catches and falls, and eye locks, is some real relationship bonding. I would love to see them laugh together as opposed to at each other. I want to see them secretly admire each other, as they see each other in a different light. I especially want to see Sanchi be somewhat physically attracted to Indu. I don't expect an inferno of passion, but a small spark of desire in her eyes would be lovely.
@Shri, wow girl you are on a roll! I agree 100% with everything you have written! Also I want to thank you for reminding me of the fact that Sanchi is actually still quite a young girl. Physically yes she is a budding woman, but being mentally sheltered all her life, she is still immature. One can't expect her to know how to have handled such an passionate man as Indu, let alone the intense love he felt for her. Plus your right both of them are spoilt, Indu is the typical Mama's boy, whilst she is the prototype Daddy's little princess. So of course they were stunned when they were faced with someone who wouldn't let them have their own way. Sigh but they really loved meeting their match deep deep way down I think.
@Selvi & Rash & Anit lol you guys are the best, your posts and nok jock always bring a smile to my face especially after a stressful day! God bless you all for that miracle!
