Suchi ??? 😲 ,... such a short update ???? But beautiful nonetheless ..

I will write some more today. Just was caught up with work :)

Anandi looked at her watch. It was 6:45 AM.

Dadisa Collector Sahab abhi tak aye nahi. Unhonay tho kaha tha ki teekh 7:00 bajay nikal jana hai .

Dadisa who was drinking her tea, looked up at Anandi through her bi-focal glasses and said calmly 'aa jave ga'

Anandi checked her bags one more time. She had packed a suitcase and one carry bag.

'Ye le Anandi, raaste ke liye khana' Gehna had just walked in with a huge basket containing tiffin boxes.

'Thumharay aur shiv ke liye kafi hoga'

Anandi: Taiji , hum kuch bahar sey hi kha lethay. Aap ithni subhah kiyun takleef uta rahi hain.

Gehna: chup! Bahar ka khana is mausam main kuch sahih nahi hotha. Vaise bhi 5 ghanton ka safar hai uskay baad shiv kay ghar janay kay baad humain fikr nahi hogi.

As Gehna mentioned Shiv's home, Anandi felt her stomach churn but she did not argue about it any further. They already had argued the previous night for hours and finally Anandi had to give in.

She took a huge sigh and looked towards the door and looked at her watch again.

Just then she heard the honk of the jeep. She jumped up startled.

Shiv had entered into the house and greeted everyone. He looked at Anandi and smiled.

Anandi smiled back at him and felt as if that Hospital sequence had never happened. She felt comfortable again and her heart began to pace at normal rate.

So sabh ready hai? he asked smiling

Anandi nodded and went ahead to pick up her luggage.

Shiv also had proceeded at the same time

"aap chodiye main le lunga ise' he said

" nahi main kudh ker lungi' said Anandi

Shiv knew better to argue with her and agreed quietly. After all she was back to speaking terms with him again and he did not want to ruin her mood.

Acha dadiji hum chalthay hain aur ghar pahunchtay hi khabar de dengay.

Anandi hugged everyone.

'Apna khayal rakhna chori' said dadisa. Anandi could notice the tears in her eyes. It worried her but she was rushed away by dadisa.

Anandi got into the jeep and sat besides Shiv. The luggage was placed in the back with the food basket.

Shiv gave a final smile and rode off.

Scene 8 Part 2

It had been 2 hours since they had started, but it seemed forever. He quickly glanced at Anandi and shook his head.

'reading! past two hours and NOT ONE WORD' All she has been doing is reading' Shiv thought to himself angrily.

'Jaise ki main inka driver hun' he muttered to himself with a sarcastic tone.

'aapnay kuch kaha?' Asked Anandi who had heard his voice but not his thought.

'Agar aap baat karengi tho I am sure energy level kam nahi ho jayega' said shiv as he looked at the road.

Anandi looked at him startled and realized how rude she had been.

' Iam sorry collector sahab'

btw mujhe aap 'shiv' bhi bula sakthi hun. Main aapko "sarpanchji tho nahi kehkay bulatha' he said before he could stop himself.

And rightfully so, he thought angrily!

He had realized that there was something he felt for Anandi. He wanted to clear his own thoughts and feelings about her and to do that, the first step would be for them to become somewhat informal.

Anandi who was looking at shiv turned away and started to read again. She did not know how to respond to him. Yes she did not want to disrespect him but, calling him shiv? No, how can she do that?

'aapnay kuch khaya?' asked shiv suddenly

Anandi looked at him and nodded in negative.

'teekh hai paas main hi ek dhaba hai wahan chal ker kuch kha lethay hain' he said taking a side exit from the main road

'Dadisa nay khana beja hain hum yahin gadi main hi kha sakthay hain. Aap idhar hi kahin rokh lijiye konay main. Is tarah jaldi bhi chale jayengay' she said looking behind her and searching for the basket with her eyes.

Shiv, who was pleasantly surprised started to look for a spot, perfect for their (date?) he thought amusingly.

'Don't be silly shiv. Ye London nahi hai aur ye Anandi hai, aise vaise behave nahi kerna' he sternly thought to himself.

They found the perfect spot after 10 minutes. There was a lone tree standing on the roadside and dry land behind it.

Anandi picked up the basket and opened the huge lunch carrier.

Ye taiji bhi na , ithna kuch de diya unhonay. Ithnaay khanay main tho gaon main 10 logon ka pait bhar jaye. Said Anandi out loud.

Shiv smiled at Anandi.

Anandi handed him a clean plate and placed one parata on it. She then took a plate for herself and looked around

'are taiji nay tho sirf do plate diye hain. abh ye sabzi kismain rakhun?' she said in a small worried voice.

'Agar main collector sahab ko kahunki dibbay sey kha lain tho acha nahi lagega' she thought to herself

She then put three different kinds of sabzi in her plate along with pickle and offered it to shiv.

Ye lijiye. she said smiling.

'Aur aapke liye?' he asked questioningly

main baad main kha lungi.

Shiv looked at her with his eyebrows raised and said, aapko yaad nahi ki main akele khana pasand nahi kertha.

Anandi looked at him and then admitted that she did not have enough plates so she will eat later.

Shiv then took his parata and broke it in two parts.

'ye apka hissa , aur ye mera'

abh tho kha sakthay hain na? he asked her with smile forming in his face

Anandi stared at him not knowing what to say or do.

'lijiye' insisted shiv

Slowly Anandi broke a small piece of the parata of her side and ate it. Her eyes lowered.
