About SBS daliya segment :I feel Yash will catch cold and fever because of rain as well as side effect of his high temper last week 😆...Aarti will take care of him and in the process she might fall sick because of lack of sleep ...Yash will then take care of Aarti and both might start bonding 😳...I feel they will become good friends by this week's end 😳...

Yash made it clear that love can happen only once , so unless Yash starts feeling something for Aarti , I dont think Aarti will take initiative to win his love .. she might just try to b his good friend and nothing else 😊...So I feel initially both might become good friends even if Aarti starts loving Yash ..she will hide her feelings in her heart 😳...It will b Yash who will then start developing feelings for Aarti and I feel he will b the first one to confess it since whenever someone claims he/she cannot fall in love again is always the one to first confess that he/she is in love again 😆😉...

But hopefully we will get some cute AarYa moments during their sickness phase 😆😳..and this time the moment will not b overshadowed by Arpita mania either ...it will b exclusive AarYa moments 😳😳

About Yash the baby : 😆😆Yeah like GC said in today's SBB , Yash is still a baby even if he appears like a matured man .. he keeps falling sick , scared of injections like a small kid , looses his temper if someone else tries to snatch away his favourite Arpita toy 😆 , even in SBS Yash was taking that daliya like a small kid from Aarti ..and I went like awww 😆😳...I feel Arpita sort of made him quite a dependent type husband ... Like I said Yash and Arpita shared more of mother-son bonding than husband-wife where whenever Yash needed something , he knew Arpita is there to take care of it ...So after Arpita's death , Yash and Palak hv similar reactions of longing for a mother figure like Arpita ...

I feel Aarti will bring a certain change in his overall nature and personality here 😳...She will take care of Yash like a wife and not like a mother here 😉 .. She will let Yash do his things on his own so that he learns to b more independent and this might even improve his weak immune system 😊...She already made the start last week when she lets Yash do the shradh puja on his own rather than interfering in it but all she does is protects Yash from the rain 😳... If Arpita was in Aarti's palce , mayb Arpita would not hv let Yash do any puja in that rain and would hv dragged him home like a typical mother 😆 ..But Aarti gives him the space as a wife and does not nag him saying its raining ,so come home .. she lets him complete the puja but protects him as well from rain 😳...This will give confidence to Yash that if he decides to do something on his own against his family's wish , at least Aarti will support him as a wife 😳...

About Yash not sharing his Pains or Emotions with anyone : I feel one reason why Yash never shared his pain with his family is because he somewhere knows that his parents always treat his sons like kids where they dont hv the independence to take their own decisions whether its marriage decisions or decision like the shradh puja or decision during Ansh kidnapping case regarding money and even his brothers r scared to hv their own say in front of their parents ... But mayb now that Yash will get Aarti's support in all his decisions , he will slowly start sharing his feelings with Aarti 😳...Yash might find his ultimate comfort in Aarti's company now to bring him out of Arpita depression 😳...He might not feel like a kid anymore who is always dominated by the Seniors in the house when someone like Aarti will respect all his decisions 😳

It is amazing how true to the name of the show, the writers keep returning to the theme of marriage and redefining it each time they do. In this light the title Punarvivaah takes on multiple meanings because it not only shows Yash and Aarti marrying each other after having been married to their previous spouses, but also highlights the way in which Yash and Aarti continue to marry each other again and again as their relationship progresses, each time the marriage meaning something different in accordance with the evolution of their relationship with respect to each other, the children and the families.

From the engagement, when Aarti was still very much in love with Prashant and Yash was totally unsure about the marriage, to the actual wedding with the seven rounds around the sacred fire, where Aarti admitted that there was nothing left for her with Prashant and took this risk, while Yash felt sure in Arpita's sign that this was the right thing to do for his children, to the reunion after the separation where Aarti finally gave Yash full authority as Ansh's father and vowed to do right by Payal and Palak, even if it cost her her identity, finally now to the wonderful scene we witnessed today.

With god as their witness Yash and Aarti finally defined their marriage clearly to each other as it stands at the present moment. This is what the marriage mantras do, essentially but right after Yash took his faith into his own hands, becoming the pundit for Arpita's shraadh, with Aarti helping him complete it, they redefined the concept of marriage as it applied to them and finally after this wonderful conversation they are on the same page about what this marriage means to each of them. Emotions and feelings are hard to account for, they are erratic, but a commitment is something that both of these people hold dear and I feel that adhering to this commitment, because they have made it to each other is what is going to later make their changing feelings easier to accept.

There were several defining moments in the conversation:

1. Aarti asked Yash not to punish himself for her mistake and to take the shawl. This made a few things crystal clear to Yash. Aarti knew she had made a mistake, she was sorry, and she was back to the Aarti that he had come to like, the one that kept calling his name even as he tried to walk away, the gently stubborn woman who would not take his silence for an answer, the woman who was so artless that she called out to him without being quite sure what she wanted to say and had to let him go and call him back to put her point across. This is the Aarti that Yash wanted to talk to and with the confidence that she was back he turned to face her.

2. Aarti tries to touch Yash's feet and he recoils. This reminded me of the flashback after the bhajan where he remembers Arpita touching his feet. In the flashback, he accepted her doing that and responded in turn but with Aarti he does not accept such an action from her, even when he is angry. This shows what a difference there is in his in the relationship he has with Arpita even now in his head, and his relationship with Aarti. We were not wrong when we discussed that Yash had changed forever after Arpita's death...not all the changes are for the worse, I suppose, though I also wonder why this change came about. I guess before Arpita's death, Yash was very much in line with SP's way of thinking, though perhaps in a slightly less demeaning way. He must have liked feeling like Arpita's protector, taking up his stereotypical role of a man. But her death made him realise that he is just a human and he could do nothing to protect her when it mattered the most. The experience must have shattered his belief in hierarchy of any kind and that is what I chock this change up to. I love the differences being drawn between Arpita's Yash and Aarti's Yash. No points for guessing which one I like better.

3. Yash finally opens up and says thank you and sorry. After Aarti's heart rending plea and her promise not to encroach on AKJ ever again, Yash finally lets what is in his heart spill over and he confides in Aarti. I loved the word choice here because he didn't just say that he knew Aarti's intentions, he said he understood them. She was only doing this for Palak's happiness and he is the one that should be sorry for humiliating her like he did in public. This dialogue made me think that the guilt hit Yash almost immediately after his outburst, as soon as he had had a moment to cool down and he figured the best way to deal with it would be denial. So he went to his father with a completely different and utterly confrontational subject that would help him feel like nothing had changed. And when that gave him no peace he sought to leave when he was cornered by Shobha and had some sense knocked into him. I also think it was not lost on him that though Palak had been through so much that night, she wasn't devastated the way she was the night with the drawing. She was ready to bounce back for him and he did the same for her. He is not so oblivious as to not notice that Aarti had had some effect, however, invisible it might be.

I also loved that he told her he was sorry and but he also said, you know the reason why I behaved the way I did. He found the comfort zone to open up and apologise to her because he was so confident that she would understand why he had had that outburst and simply enough, she did.

4. He also asked her the one thing that matters most to him: please don't try to be Arpita. He shares one of his deepest beliefs, that love only happens once, with her and that in itself is a huge deal, I would say. I spent several minutes repeating that scene to understand Aarti's expressions and I have come to this conclusion. I think this is a belief that Aarti herself harbours and I believe that her expression (in which there was a little nod) was one of agreement. I think she still believes that though Prashant was a scumbag, he was the love of her life and that was her destiny. When someone like Yash whom she respects echoes this belief she too accepts her fate and looks to make the best of the situation at hand, as per her nature. These two people connect so well because along with many of the same fundamental strengths, they have many similar convictions that are in for evaluation in this PV.

5. I want from this relationship what you want from this relationship. This dialogue stole the show for me today! It was so pregnant with meaning because of the way that that very statement has been defined in so many different ways for Aarti since she first got wind of her parents idea for this marriage. I feel like this dialogue reflected Yash's changing ideas about this marriage too, because really for all practical purposes, neither one is rushing ahead of the other while they deal with their baggage. They are both pretty much in the same place over all, though one might try to surge ahead at some point, only to find that sticking to the slow and steady will indeed win them the race.

And finally, with god as their witness the promises they made:

Aarti's promise: I will never again try to take Arpita's place. I will stay within my boundaries and my place in your life and your family. I will love Payal and Palak like an own mother.

Yash's promise: I will always love Ansh deeply and unconditionally.

The expression on Aarti's face which Bua mistook for love, I think was love in some sense, but more one of deep familiarity and understanding rather than romance. Aarti finally felt like she understood Yash, like she understood what he wanted and what his priorities actually are. She will no longer be groping in the dark because him opening up have finally shed light on the path she is to take. Almost immediately her decision is challenged by the seniors and I just hope she can stick by her conviction and stick by Yash. Anything she does that branches off from these promises she has made, will be considered nothing short of betrayal by him, and same goes for her. They have made solemn promises and I hope to see their commitments fulfilled.

Aside: The rest of the episode was various characters being confused by Aarti's behaviour when one word can define it aptly...humanity. Aarti is living, breathing humanity with all its faults but with all its heart and sincerity.
