I belong to that segment of the audience who welcomed female oriented soaps a decade back when it was first introduced but today 10-12 years later are exhausted from seeing the same story , same tracks being repeatedly enacted by different faces under different banners.So my first plea to you would be please do not tread that path.🤢
EK made 'The Dirty Picture' which was a thoroughly woman oriented flick in an otherwise male dominated industry and had phenomenal success too , so why can't we have something similar on television, at least an humble unadulterated attempt?😕
Expectation from Parichay was , is and will always remain the same "KUNAL CHOPRA" , we adore the character so it's immensely disappointing to see him not get his due.If it was to see 'NARI-SHAKTI' we could just tune in to any one of those other numerous shows but we tune in to Parichay because we want to see that man bask in his deserved glory!
The serial did have its bad days with the illogical and not wanted pregnancy track , poor handling of the rape case, when talking about the rape case I would like to clarify something , I have seen many articles say it fetched good TRP's , it did but it was not because Siddhi was pleading in court rather than presenting the case, it was because we kept waiting for Kunal Chopra to step in till the very last minute and play the final stroke but that was not to be and we were mighty disappointed.What also made us sit through the track was how beautifully Kunal-Siddhi relation was handled at that stage.So please do not presume Nari-Shakti got you the numbers.😕
If you look at the dip in TRP's you will realise that happened when Kunal was shown jobless and also least worried about finding a job or keeping one and focus was shifted from Kunal to Gaurav's extra-marital affair.Well it did make Kunal accept responsibility verbally but we saw less or no action.
Then you started bring the show back on focus, the murder mystery track even though Kunal was jobless was accepted because Kunal donned his black robe again , Kunal supported and handled his hormone wrecked wife .That week the TRP's did not dip it stayed put even though it did not climb .Many viewers who left the show have been known to be contemplating a return because finally sense seemed to prevail.😊
I won't say Kunal's investigation has been shown up to the mark , I sometimes feel Kunal is being shown a bit careless and over confident which does not sit right with the character evolution that should have ideally happened.Just to show Thakral smart please do not downplay Kunal's brilliance.
We know Kunal is going to be behind bar's soon enough but what I hope to see is Siddhi perhaps help him secure bail and then Kunal should take up the reins once again with renewed vengeance and a pledge to be intelligent !Veena going bonkers over Kunal's incarceration , Siddhi's already complicated pregnancy and stress could lead to a miscarraige , which I have no issues with as long Kunal-Siddhi braves it out together.Them being separated , divorcing or having misunderstandings is not acceptable , for a change we would like to see the husband and wife work together as a team and live their life!!😃
We still have hopes of seeing Kunal Chopra's Parichay out in the open and not hiding behind cute Siddhi Chopra!!!😉 Hopefully we won't be disappointed this time around!!!😃
P.S:Get rid of the new Richa!!! Can't stand her😡
