To whom it may concern:
First of all, I would like to thank you for making this show interesting enough for the first 6 months for us to enjoy it immensely. Now getting to the real business, firstly I would like to request you to please give us what we were promised before the start of this show - Kunal Chopra's Parichay. When the initial Promos of this show were aired, we only saw Kunal in all those promos indicating this show being different than all the other shows and being a male oriented show. However, as the story progressed, the show started to become more of a female oriented (Nari-Shakti) show when there was no female was shown in any of the 20 promos that were aired before the start of the show. So I am curious to know how did writers focus shifted from male lead to female lead's character being the prime character? Why is it we see that, whenever there an issue or problem in Chopra family, it is the female lead who emerges as the savior making Kunal seem like a brainless, insensitive idiot? I request you to please always remember that this show was advertised as Kunal Chopra's Parichay and as long as the show runs Kunal should be the object of prime focus.
Second, this show has become so illogical and intolerable of late specially from the writing point of view that it's hard for us to even turn into this show at 9:30pm on daily basis. I must say the makers of the show are really lucky to have Samir Soni in this show because of whom most of us are still tuning in to the show or else we would have said goodbye to this show long time ago.
Coming to the illogical track that irritated us the most was Siddhi's illogical pregnancy. I used to wait for this show anxiously until the day we heard the announcement of Kunal-Siddhi having a baby. You folks are writers hence very intelligent individuals so tell me one thing, how can someone's pregnancy survive after going though all Siddhi went through during her the kidnapping track? having taken the bullet, falling from the mountain cliff, and going though a major surgery hence loosing substantial amt of blood? To top it off, in this time and age her pregnancy was being confirmed by a Dai ma instead a proper medical professional?
Thirdly, I haven't enjoyed any of Kunal-Siddhi romantic scene after Siddhi's pregnancy because I was anticipating to see an intense and passionate romance between Kunal-Siddhi immediately following Kunal's confession and then the pregnancy being announced If it really had to be shown😕. Anyways, what was the need of showing Siddhi pregnant so soon in the story? Kunal doesn't have any job at current in conjunction with supposedly bearing the responsibility of his entire household by himself, so at a time like this is Kunal having a baby really a wise move? I don't think so😒.
Talking about Kunal's job, why is he being shown jobless for so long? Post Gaurav's departure from Chopra household, Isn't Kunal the lone bread earner of the the Chopra family? Yet he has been jobless ever since? Does it even make any sense writing wise? We have seen Kunal making big promises to so many people at many occassions, but has never lived up to his promises why? When Gaurav left and Seema's father and brother came to fetch her, Kunal stopped them from doing so by telling them that he will take care of Seema and her children - how is he really taking care of them being jobless? The worst part is Kunal is taking charity (House Rent and Kids' fees money, bail money etc) from the same person (Vikram) who he made the promise to take care of Seema and her kids😉. I must say, this is very weak characterization of Kunal and we are not pleased with it at all. Please show Kunal Chopra a man of his words and a person who keeps his promises. We want to see Kunal as a dignified and self respected man.
Last but certainly not the least, please show Kunal's professional life as part his second chance in life. We have seen his love story as a part of his second chance - how the new woman in his life changes his life completely, but now it's time to move on from that as his wife shouldn't be shown as the only thing as his second chance at life, but that should also include the rise of his professional life yet we are still seeing him jobless😒?
We enjoy Kunal-Siddhi nok-jhok, but please use them only at places where they seem to fit and not at places where they sound irritating and seem unneeded. At this point of Kunal-Siddhi relationship, I would like to see some maturity in their relationship as appose to always showing their silly nok-jhok specially from Siddhi's side. Prior to their confession, the nok-jhok seemed natural, but now showing Siddhi always unnecessarily arguing with Kunal just for the sake of it is irritating and that also makes Siddhi's character less likable.
Thanks for reading all my complains and suggestions and hopefully you will understand our frustrations with the few of the recent tracks due to them either being illogical or pure silly. Hope to see much better writing from an incredible team of writters of Parichay in the coming episode as I know you are much more capable than what we are being shown in Parichay of late because I have seen your amazing writing in the first 6 months of the show.
PS: During some of the court hearing, Kunal arguments and counter punches are great piece of writing👏. Also the ruko-suno bit from Kunal-Siddhi's consummation night was one of the best we have seen on TV thus far👏. Finally, D K Thakaral is one of the best and consistent characters written on TV; we enjoy watching Kunal-Thakaral face off with immense pleasure👏.
