Namaste...😊 Dear Friends, I am writing this post in response to all who have not understood Mohan Bhatnagar. This write up is for those who think Mohan is irresponsible, careless, childish, so on and so forth.
One of my friend told me to make a separate thread on Mohan, so made it. I wrote a similar opinion in someone's thread.😳
Mohan Bhatnagar is the most amazing, wonderful and charming characters of this show - NBTNMKK. 🤗HE is the most rarest GEM and cannot be found easily.😍 Yet he is very simple, cool, calm, composed, humble, practical, realistic, idealistic and very down to earth person. We can reflect ourselves with him at some point or the other. Megha is one lucky lady to have him. She knows that very well, that's why, she fell in love with him (yes, not accepting it openly, due to her own reasons). 😳
Mohan may be rude, careless, clumsy, silly at times, but he is that way only with other matters, and yes, all these qualities are opined when you meet this guy for the first time, and this is becoz, he doesn't open up himself in front of strangers. So, its difficult to understand him on a first meet, but when you get along with him, when the word called "trust" builds up, when he opens up to you, then you will understand him better🤗. The dhaaba scene can be remembered here, where Megha regretfully says "jispe bharosa karna chahiye tha, usse samajh bhi nahi paayi".😍
Mohan is kind, trust worthy, very helpful, responsible, mature and a decent gentleman. If this wasn't the case, Megha wouldn't have made friendship with him and wouldn't have gone too far of being a fake wife and spend a night with him. He doesn't like to fake things, If we observe the farmhouse scenes, he was always against the idea of acting as a Married Man.
He is childlike, but not childish, carefree but not careless, innocent but not an idiot, funny but not silly, introvert but not dumb and most of all, adorable&cute with his near and dear ones,😍 becoz, he is very pure at heart and doesn't show off, or I should say, he doesn't feel like showing off. He is a very genuine person. He want to be free of all suffocatingly sophisticated behavior and mannerisms, when he is with his trust worthy and loved ones around him. We all are like him, we will be open and behave freely with our near and dear ones, becoz, the near and dear know us very well.This can be witnessed by recalling the mall and the lift scenes, where Mohan was not at all faking, but was true to his nature, becoz, he understands her and know how she is, as a genuine person. So, he wasn't showing off, he was behaving freely but decently with her. He was funny throughout the lift scene, yet he was caring and respectful towards Megha.🤗😍
He behaves so maturely and responsibly with Nanhi, even if she is a kid, he doesn't treat her as a kid, but as an equal.He makes her realize the harsh reality of this world, but with the way she can understand him, he talk sense with that kid, He gives advice to her and also makes sure she understand the world better.😃
He cares and respects Megha so much, if not, he wouldn't have helped her a thousand times. He is sensitive enough to observe and understand Megha's every expression and her pains and it bothers him and feels, thinks and try to analyze them. He keeps helping her, in spite of her telling him many times to stay away from her. Later when both MM became friends, Mohan's respect for her increased. He is a support system to Megha, but he is not a crutch to her, rather he makes her think independently and boosts her confidence. He has helped Megha grow as an individual. All because of his respect to her. He admires her courage, and admits it openly without any ego or qualm.🤗
Mohan is a very emotional person, who believes in love, but his emotions doesn't dominate him. His admiring feelings towards Megha later developed into another level - LOVE, thanks to Guru's Maa Baapuji stories.😆 He fell in love with Megha, but still maintained his patience for very long, becoz, he understands Megha's position and he is able to analyze Megha's dilemma and her responsibility towards her family. He never forced her or tried to push her to make her understand his love towards her. Very recently, he observed that she too is falling for him, that's what made Mohan to try and make Megha feel and express her love for him. He always given her time to think and act.
Mohan is being considered as not a good idea in marrying a widow, and handling the kids, as he is very irresponsible and childish. His mom, Indu also thinks similarly, but that lady has not understood her son at all. She was hell bent to tie him back to rashmi, who once dumped Mohan and humiliated him. As a matter of fact, Mohan is very sensitive, mature, responsible, sensible, and is capable of giving a secure life for his loved ones,😍 he is very well aware of Megha's position and situation she is facing. This can be observed where he talks about this with his mom after rashmi's engagement. He is not at all bothered about Megha being a widow.
Mohan's maturity and dedication towards his work in his office is another example of No-nonsense Mohan Bhatnagar. All the staff members respect him for his work and his mannerisms. In fact, he is the Angry Young Man(Mr, AYM) in the office for Dimpy,😆 who is strict, disciplined and focused on his work. Another instance for Mohan's maturity and Composure can be remembered by the scene, when the news about Mohan and Megha stuck in the elevator spreads, the office staff talk nonsense about this topic, Mohan listen to this, gets very angry and tries to man handle that particular person, but, immediately changes his mind and just warns him and everyone, and just leave the matter. Here, his composed mind thought about the person's family and kids, and he didn't want that person to be looked negatively by that person's family and kids. Here, the main highlight along with the maturity is Mohan doesn't insult people unnecessarily, ...thinks before he inks.👏
Mohan's behaviour with addu, is being discussed too much in this forum. And yes, he cannot get along with kids. there are many who don't know how to handle kids, that doesn't mean they will not be able to forever, they will learn by experience. Mohan is a bachelor, what do you expect from a bachelor, there are bachelors who are fit for nothing but even they lead a decent and responsible life after marriage. Life's experiences teaches everything. He will pick up. His bonding with Addu is still a far away dream.
Addu is being rude with Mohan and the elders are not controlling him. Addu had a bad opinion about Mohan earlier, but now when Mohan has solved the Amar case, someone in the family should've clarified and changed addu's opinion into a positive one towards Mohan, may be Megha, Jiji or Nanhi?? 🤔
When Mohan was invited for dinner, its the responsibility of the family members of Vyaases to handle him decently. He should be treated as special, as a honorable guest. But the Vyaases were ignorant, didn't bother when he arrived. Mohan had to occupy himself there and try and mingle with them all by himself. Where did all the manners disappear from Vyaases side?? Addu behaved rudely with him, talked harshly, shouted indecently, spilled ice cream, and so daringly bashed him.😡 No one tried to stop addu and didn't say a word for his misbehavior. At least Megha or Jiji should've controlled Addu. Mohan behaved very maturely here, staying calm and even he was hurt, he tolerated everything. Here, Mohan's patience played a vital role.🤗👍🏼
Mohan is bashed for being irresponsible and careless going alone to the drugs case, without any preparation or backup plan, only to make Megha feel for him and stop with full authority of being a lover. No, that's not the way, Mohan is very intelligent, smart and daring person, he is dedicated towards his work. He didn't take this risk to make Megha express herself, but he took this risky assignment, as it is a part of his job. He had gone there well prepared and he would've escaped safely from the goons, if not Megha appeared there. Mohan being an emotional person, was very excited to see Megha and was totally lost in her.😍 He felt that she has confessed her love, for which he had waited so long. His mind went totally blank for a moment. This was the result of the dreadful incident and not because of Mohan's carelessness or irresponsibility.
Mohan's behavior with Megha in front of Nanhi and Manav - Mohan is sensitive and emotional, as a result, he was flying high in the seventh heaven when he came to know about the marriage proposal. He was in the hospital when he came to know about this. This was a huge MisUnderstanding(MU), but papaji's riddled talk about the proposal(not mentioning properly about the insurance) made him very excited to think the other way, and Nanhi's words sealed his MU even better. His behavior changed towards Megha as he thought she approved to marry him. He wasn't indecent here, but just his emotional overflow. 😍The scenes where he tell Nanhi to tell her mom, she is beautiful, or when he tries to tell Manav that what Megha is for her... these scenes looks embarrassing, but Mohan is not a road side romeo to say all this. He knows very well about what Megha's position. He just thinks when the marriage proposal is going on, there is no need to hide anything. He is just trying to be open. He cannot be blamed if Megha was alarmed, he was not cleared of his MUs. No one discussed about this with him, no one visited him in the hospital to discuss things. For instance, Jiji who was in MU herself, didn't mind to visit hospital and talk to him, but instead spread the MU to Nanhi. So, People are tend to make bizarre things when they fall in love. Hence, Mohan's behavior is justified here, and he is no exception.😳
I have so much in my mind about Mohan to write, but am too exhausted to write, but we true fans of Mohan know him very well and that's satisfying... Its not just Mohan's adorableness, cuteness, his dialogues and his nuances have attracted many girls to him, but also for his good nature and matured attitude towards everything. There are many who can write very well, still more and much better than me about Mohan, I have sprinkled just a drop of water here, of the whole wide Ocean called Mohan Bhatnagar... Love Mohan to Death.😍😍☺️😍 And lots of Love and Jhappis to Kunal Karan Kapoor for portraying Mohan Bhatnagar with such perfection.👏❤️
