Chapter 2masked at the masquerade ball
Khushi couldn't sleep peacefully that night, all she could think about was the picture , the man and the job. She turned and twisted all night
The next Morning...
nk: Khushi get up its 10 already !!!! are u crazy ?? sleeping til so long
khushi: nk shut up. i am awake. She was in a really bad mood which was soo unlike her. she got up and took a quick shower. She was really sleepy because of last night.
Khsuhi: lets start to destroy shyam
Pari; yeah man.. she sounded awfully sad
nk; tonight khushi at the masquerade ball for the AR industries employs. You have to be ASR personal secretary from now on. I have made the job yours. Pari get a dress and a mask for khushi for the ball. She should be dressed high class.
Khushi; ur mad at em nk ??
nk didn't do the speaking anymore
khushi; i am sorry for today.
nk nodded his head. it almost took a day for khushi to get dressed. she wore a white gown with a silver mask.

khushi walked towards the entrance. She never felt so scared about her job. She never felt this uneasy. She stepped in the hall. She could feel his presence and so could he but they did n't know who he or she were.
Khushi collided with someone wearing a black suit and a black mask.
She was sure that she was about to fall and she couldn't even use her strength in this gown. But a hand slid on her waist and caught her. Arnav could feel her fear and distress
Arnav; are you okay ??
khushi; yes sir . i was just walking. i am sorry
she had never been so scared until today. she was speechless or rather dazed by the man's handsome ness.
Arnav; its arnav.
Khushi was shocked at the response. Arnav Singh Riazada was so charming. Pari was right.
Arnav left khushi's waist and made her stand on her feet.
Khushi; sir... i mean Arnav could you excuse me.
Arnav nodded. He was amazed at her innocence , who was this girl?? he wondered.
Khushi ran to the ladies room. She needed vodka. Arnav was shaken. he needed vodka. they both rushed to the bar.
Arnav and khushi together; 1 vodka with ice and coke.
Khushi; arnav i just needed..
arnav interupted; its okay
Khsuhi; i am khushi. she said slowly. she always lied on jobs but this time she couldn't.
khushi completed; i am your new personal secretary. i am taking over until anna returns
Arnav; you mean ananya ??
Khushi; yes she had some urgent work so im her friend i am filling in for her until the next month
Arnav; welcome on the AR team
Khsuhi; she told me to start with the ball. i hope that iis okay
Arnav usually never let anyone come at the ball but things changed today; yes. anyways why do you need this job ??
khushi; i have family issues. she lied and didn't feel so good like she was bitten. Tears flew down her eyes. this didn't happen what was wrong she wondered
Arnav; hey its okay. but khushi won't stop , she removed the mask revealing a beautiful face and perfect features.
Arnav held her hand ; lets go for a walk..
Arnav and khushi walked until they reached a garden. it was very pretty. Arnav and khsuhi both din't let go of each other's hands
Arnav; you are the first person to be here with me.
Khushi; thanks
A question mark was on this face for what he whispered
khushi; calming me down and making me feel special
Khushi smuggled closer to arnav. Khushi pointed to the moon; the moon is so pretty

khushi turned finding arnav closer to her. there was no gap between them only layers of cloth. She surrendered herself to him. Their lips met. khushi hands reached for arnav's neck and arnav held her waist like before. it was pefect until they noticed lavanya when they parted for air.
Lavanya; making love with my boyfriend??
Khushi; noo we were just
Lavanya; shut up and get lost. Arnav you should be careful baby. She placed her kiss on his cheek. Khushi let go of Arnav's waist and held her breath. She had taken care of many b***h but tears rolled down her eyes.
Arnav; shut up lavanya. Khushi ran away and send nk a text to come pick her up. She couldn't stop weeping like her family was dead
Arnav; hey khushi
he caressed her fore head
khushi; i need to go.
arnav was in no mood to deal with drama right now.; can i drop you ??
Khushi; naa. i have ride home
nk's car skid ont the road and stood in front of khushi. Khushi wiped her tears; bye sir. See you in the office
Arnav couldn't even say bye because khushi had left. He was left there wondering who she was and why he wanted to stop her. asr never stopped anybody..
