Hrithik Roshan's Agneepath Creates History For Zee Cinema

Hrithik Roshan began the year with breaking box office records and creating new ones. Among these was the highest opening day numbers for a Hindi film, with the movie Agneepath. And this was only the beginning. The actor went on to win applause for his performance as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in the film, which also marked his entry to the Rs 100-crore club.

Next, the satellite rights of Agneepath were sold at an astronomical price. So, naturally, trade guruswere anxious to know whether Roshan Jr would grab enough eyeballs during the world premiere of the film on Zee Cinema on June 16. Well, he did. According to TAM, Agneepath managed a TVR of 6.7 in Mumbai and 7.4 in Gujarat, with an average TVR of 4.7.

This is the highest average TVR for Zee Cinema. Thus, Roshan has managed to better the previous TRPs that Zee Cinema had clocked – Don 2: 2.9 and Desi Boyz: 2.4. This has only further consolidated the actor's popularity and bankability.

zee cinema spent so much money on the promotions of the TV premiere...i don't think a TVR like 4.7 is not much to boast about especially when seeing the promos on every channel. it should have been higher.

didn't like the movie at all...i am expecting something better from Hrithik ..and plz no remakes.

Congratulation to Hrithik and to the team .4.7 when you compere it with other channel is not that big but Zee network is not like Star gold and when agneepath give them what they want and became their biggest hit .Agneepath is not like any toher film with all the blood and too much drama the repeat value is not strong at all and with all this the film creat records at the BO and ahit in TV who wants more ??? Waiting for krrish 3 next year to storm the BO and TV.

its like only Zee promote their films every single channle do the same and before the premiere we see the promos all over the time .Zee at the recent time is not astrong network like the past and agneepath is the golden ket to back to the game and this what happened right now .Don 2 TVR is only 2.9 and now agneepath 4.7 so agneepath make them back to the competetion and about your opinion its ok because its your tase 😊
