PART 7

Arnav and Khushi walked down the terrace hand in hand. Both entered Arnav's room. Just then Arnav's phone rang. He excused himself and went into the balcony. Khushi now looked at Arnav's room. The interior designer in her woke up. His room was beautiful and gave a cozy and warm kind of feeling. The walls were done in white color and a beautiful painting rested there. On the other wall was a picture of married couple. She assumed to be that of his di and jiju. But then Khushi had seen the couple somewhere before. She decided to ask Arnav. She marched into the balcony and saw Arnav pacing and clearly he was frustrated. But what shocked Khushi was his conversation.

"I love you Lavanya but..."

Khushi heard those words and god knows what got into her, she ran out of his room. She did not want to hear whole of the conversation. Hell she did not want to face him. She had planned to break p with her long time boyfriend for this man who was clearly two timing. She ran out of his house and was on the main road. She hired an auto and gave the directions for her home. Khushi kept repeating one thing in her mind.

"Don't let your tears fall Khushi. He isn't worth."

Meanwhile Arnav had finished his call. He was smiling. After all he had ended all his ties with Lavanya in the neatest way possible. Just then he noticed his room was empty. Remembering how foodie Khushi is, he ran to kitchen to find it empty. Once again he searched his whole house but didn't find her. He called her but her phone was in his room. He saw her little hand bag on his table and found her phone.

"Where the hell are you Khushi?" muttered Arnav under his breath.

After reaching her home and paying the auto driver, she decided to get ready for college. After all she desperately needed Payal. She decided to call Payal to make sure she comes to college. At that moment she realized that her cell phone is at Arnav's home. With his name in her mind, memories of him started flooding her mind. She silently sobbed vowing not to shed a single tear, she collected herself. She was not going to cry. She will buy herself a new phone but then how could she buy a new heart which also she left at Arnav's place/

Self chatting mode switched on. Two little Khushi's: one dressed in white and other in black sat on her either shoulder.

Khushi in white: see you over reacted. You should have asked the reason.

Khushi in black: don't be a fool. You yourself heard him saying I love you to his girl friend.

Khushi in white: but you should have heard the whole conversation.

Khushi in black: yes you should have heard his whole love chat. Ridiculous. Khushi he was planning to double date.

Khushi was literally pissed. She shooed both the Khushi's and went into the bathroom. Yes a shower was all she needed right now.

Dressed in light blue denims and a baby pink top, Khushi entered her class, frantically searching for Payal. Cornering her Khushi placed her bag near her and sat on the bench. "Payal just do something and let's get out of this college for today. I am in no mood for Mr. Bhupati's nariyal lesson."

"What happened why you sound so boring and depressing?"

"I have loads to tell you."

" Waise bhi we'll be out today."

"Why?"

"Arey actually few of us are selected to work for some caf?"

"What now these stupid authorities want us to serve coffees and sandwiches?"Payal smacked her forehead.

"Lallu. We are going to design the caf. Got it. It'll be our project. We'' be evaluated and would have something to add up in our resume."

"Am I also coming?"

"How can you not? After all you are the best here."

"So students the location is not far from your college. You could work after college hours here. And make sure you make us all proud. Today we are allowing you to work in college hours so that you could examine everything and make notes. Get yourself grouped in two each and divide the work."

"arey madam aap jab tak jaoge nahi hum start kaise karenge?" muttered Khushi under her breath.

Payal who was the only one who had heard Khushi was giggling. Today her friend was definitely not in one of the greatest moods.

After some minutes the teacher left and then the six of them were together. One of the geeky student anuj settled his specs on his nose and spoke. " I will partner ritika the other geek of the college."

Others shrugged shoulders and were way to relieved.

And just then Aakash spoke. "Khushi if you don't have any problem may I take Payal?"

"but make sure she is available to me also when I need her."

"oh yeah no problem."

So Khushi was left to partner Rohan who was of some other section. So first of all Khushi had to be friends with him in order to make a great team.

"Hi. I am..."

"You are Khushi gupta and I am Rohan Khanna. Hope we make a great team."

"Don't hope we'll be the best." Khushi flashed one of her brilliant smiles and then the six of them walked towards their new location which was just nest to the college.

They all were busy making the notes and examining the location. Khushi was outside he caf building and was looking the way the building was made. Just then a black SUV stopped behind her and without wasting any second she recognized who the owner was.

Dressed in three piece suit and a white crisp cotton shirt with shades on, Arnav steeped out of his SUV.

Khushi's jaw literally dropped. Arnav stood near her, raised his finger and placed it beneath her chin.

"Do you care to explain where the hell did you go this morning?"

"I am not entitled to give you any explanation Arnav."

Arnav was angry but after hearing her, he thought something was definitely wrong and he needed to clear that. "Khushi I think we need to talk."

"No Arnav. I don't want to talk." She just turned around went but Arnav held her wrist and pulled her with such a force that she stood merely centimeters away from him…..his hand still holding her wrist. She was pleading Arnav to leave her but he didn't listen her and made her sit in the car. He too entered the car and locked the gates.

"Khushi just answer me, why did you leave so abruptly this morning? I was worried about you."

"I don't want to answer you. I don't want to face a two timer. What do you think you'll double date me? I was planning to beak up with Neeraj all because of you. And look at you… you were openly cheating me."

"What the f***? You silly girl. You were planning to break up with your boyfriend; I had actually broken up with my girl friend. "

"oh don't make a fool of me Arnav, I myself heard you saying I love you to her"

After realizing why she left, he smiled and Khushi was all red. "did you hear the whole conversation?"

"no I ran from there."

"you should have. I only told her that I love her but I am in love with you Khushi."

Khushi was too stunned.

"do you really mean what you say Arnav?"

Arnav cupped her face; he could see tears forming in her eyes. "Khushi just look into my eyes and then ask yourself. I love you. I loved you from the day we watched dabang together. You know when I didn't find you in my house today I was worried as if I had forgotten to breathe. Khushi I am not that expressive otherwise I could have told you how much you mean to me."

"Arnav when I heard you saying I love you, you could not imagine how much pain I was going through. I love you too Arnav, from the core of my heart. "Khushi hugged Arnav tightly, Arnav too enveloped her in his arms. He could feel her weeping.

"I feel complete in your arms."

"Khushi there are no words in any language to describe how I feel for you, but 'I love you' is going to have to do. Just know that you are the only woman I have ever felt like this for and don't you dare leave me like this."
