Dear Akash/AR Fans,
PLEASE READ FULLY, I HOPE AFTER THAT U WILL SEE OUR POV A LITTLE.😳
Firstly, we don't hate Abhishek Rawat. When I say that I am talking about those UV fans who have their head in the proper place... yes excluding the OTT Phangals. Yes, some of the fangirls do take things to an extreme extent like posting RUDE remarks on AR's profile, however, like 5 fingers in a hand are not same, so all the members in this forum are not sane. Some people do such shameful act and are not ashamed of it. However we are powerless to prevent it. This issue has been raised time and again, and we, the sane UV fans have thoroughly protested such behavior, but this is something that the Moderators and Administrators CAN ONLY HANDLE! So you have to PM the Mods to take a strong action.
On that Note: I have a REQUEST for the Mods. Please ban/ raise the WL of the people who are doing such shameful activity, because, agree or not, AR is a Fabulous actor, and its really SAD, the treatment he is getting.
Also to add, Most of us here, including me, absolutely LOVED him in Agle Janam... so I too find the amount of hatred directed towards him, a little disturbing.
Secondly, yes WE LOVE UDAY! ...and..We DISLIKE the character 'Akash'... and its NOT without reasons.Now, Its not because of Ashish's Good looks, and AR's average looks.
See, I have been here from a very early time, since the 13/15th episode... at that time there were hardly a few pages that one scan in one go, and since that time i have been attached to this forum, even if i lost touch with the serial. So i have a fair idea, who is who in this forum, and who supports whom, and for what reasons.
Since this serial started, the story had been really slow, to the extent that no body really cared to do the update regularly, however the FEW people that were here acknowledged the fact that Akash is sweet. The trouble started when the crackling ManVeer chemistry started.
Yes, Akash is *edit:had been* TRUTHFUL, SINCERE, CARING, RESPECTABLE and REALLY GOOD-AT-HEART Person. At that time, everyone appreciated him, but when we got a Peek into the future "possible" ManVeer track, everyone WANTED it only. It was so natural, it was so perfect... The story, the plot, the popularity turned into a Flame within a few days ever since the Pub scene. It WAS ACTUALLY after the 10th episode that everyone was WATCHING the show. That One scene Just turned the story into something SO GOOD, and lovable.
Yes, UdayVeer is a Shrewd, Manipulative, hot-headed, evil kind of a guy, but at the same time he had a tinge of conscience and some amount of love Hidden in his heart, and that was something so NEW, so BEAUTIFUL, so HEART-TOUCHING,😍 and it opened out many paths for the future tracks, it made the otherwise BLAND story something SPICY, YUMMY, and ADDICTIVE. 😆😳 It was something we havent seen. For example, in IPKKND, we have a hot headed dude ASR and a sweet loving gal KKG, and their love hate track... however DEK is the first kind of story we watched in a long time. The Guy was a devil, stubborn, Casanova... a typical bad body with something mysterious and attractive about him, and the Girl was an equally stubborn, angry, jungli billi, whom he cant tame, nor can he charm, who bites before she talks... hurls curses. There was a chance for these two imperfect being to fall for each other and change each other. 😳 Now That WAS DIFFERENT, That was NEW, THAT was AWESOME.😳 This Forum erupted with people all of a sudden. 😆😆
At this point we all REALLY wanted UdayVeer and Manyata love story, but all did SYMPATHIZE with Akash and his would be failed love. YES WE DID.
Then the trouble started... when they started butchering Akash's character, and started to make it an OTT love saga. Reasons:
1. When Murari, M's then dad, warned Akash to stay away from his daughter, he doesnt like any guy making friends with his daughter, Akash clearly said that he is uninterested, and M is like his friend. However, ever since it came out that Manyata IS a princess in reality, he was dying to meet her, as he felt sorry, he left her all alone in the forest.
Now why the sudden GUILT? 😳
2. Akash trying to break into the Palace JUST to meet Manyata... Now, any sensible and respectable person would wait for a few days and let everything calm down before he inquires about the condition of his "friend". Of course the Royal Family had a lot of trouble in getting back the child they once lost... so isnt it LOGICAL that they would be barring everyone from meeting the princess, they would stop every intruder, and he did try to break in, and security guards STOPPED him and beat him black and blue,😆 well they are paid for that only.😆
3. When Manyata finally knows the truth about her dad, she is broken and shattered, and was that the right time to profess ur love for the girl, whom u once said that u dont see her in that way? Why is it because that now she is a RICH DUCK?😲😲
4. Then along the weeks see him become a Psycho obsessed guy who always thinks that her family is torturing her and is always instigating her against her family. WHY? Shouldn't her family get a chance too?
5. His Peeping tom pervert act was another thing. Purely HATEFUL. Less said the better.🤢🤢🤢 Gradually the insecurities started...🤢🤢
... and so on! Oh yes, there are so many more reasons, as to why we DISLIKE him to this extent. I blame the writers for making this character so weak and intolerable and irritating. Well I blame the writers for a lot of things... 😆... that could have been done in DEK.
All these were the precursors to our strong Hatred for the character, NOW.
Is it wrong?
Yes and No.
Yes, somewhere it is wrong, but if we keep in mind the above justifications, the Hatred doesn't seem illogical.
No, because After months and months of asking the producer to change the story line to ManVeer as we are really NOT INTERESTED in Akash and Manyata's OTT love Saga, and getting rude replies, is really frustrating.
But, yes, we aren't Bashing him, just pointing the failures and flaws related with the character.
Now Ashish's good looks played a very little role here, as everyone loves the "character" more than the face, AK played UdayVeer flawlessly. Believe it or not he IS an actor... and not just with a handsome face, he Emoted every minute part of Udayveer, he made the character ALIVE, and WE LOVE HIM for this.
The time UV was shown with JN, no body really cared about him, just that "the new guy is HOT", and it just stopped there, but the pub scene changed everything, and combined with the fact that he actually cared for Manyata a LOT, is what made him even more lovable, even though he had selfish intentions.
I hope I have made some sense to you all why we love UDAYVEER, and Not AKASH.
Oh, yes, LASTLY, we are Illogical, we are insensible, we are stupid, but ITS a PERSONAL preference, a personal Choice. All girls like Fairy Tale Love stories. DEK could have been One, with the Real Prince ad The Real Princess, and the white horse.
What you see here is an extreme Disappointment of a lot of fans towards the excellent story ruined by the creatives. The 7 months of frustrations, irritation, and waiting, only to be let down at the end! We were, are and will be watching the show for ManVeer track, otherwise we are UNINTERESTED.
DO We seem Irrational?
