Hello Peeps. 😃

For the first time today I have to search for words to start my analysis. I am in no mood to even continue watching this series. I know you all must be disheartened with this announcement of mine but this is true. How long you think one can keep up the rubber stretched??? Not for long. What is elasticity??? I know many of you know this; my reference is to Physics and not economics. If we stretch it beyond the "Elastic Limit" then it can never be reformed to its original shape. This is the exact reason I am feeling like taking a break. Many of you might think it has become my daily ritual, but it's not. I have been saying this since past one week and actually I made up my mind to continue analyzing for IPK, but today, for the first time I felt I have stretched myself a lot more in this drama. It's just not me and I am losing my own essence here. Believe me when I say this, I am serious. Logic makes me and there was logic in the episode today, even in the "Song Sequence" aired in the episode; I know many of you are not happy as the vibe I received, but it was very much okie for me and very logical which I will explain later. The reason is somewhere else and after Tant is back, it's time for me to go. So, my only request is don't be disheartened and this is the reason I am preparing you all for that day in advance. Always have fun and never ever make any addiction which may be hard for you to eradicate. I will write till Tant is back, may be tomorrow or Wednesday, but guess it will Wednesday, I will take a break.

I have never said much about me and I get many messages requesting something to tell about myself. I hardly watch hindi serials and once I quit watching IPK, then I will have nothing, absolutely nothing to watch. I love to read a lot and always involved in information; so, right now all I am thinking is how Mitt Romney will counter attack Barrack Obama's googly on immigration issues. Jokes apart, my major hobby reading and writing. I am a Bengali as you all know and I always return to "Big Bang Theory" after a hiatus. In the drama segment, my favorite is "Revenge". In my opinion there is NO such "Villain" as "Conrad", who at one shot have killed his "Mistress and Ex- Wife" when they joined hands to testify against him; now, this is the kind of drama I watch. For me every episode should help you learn something new. Any production house should always follow consistency but at the same time should be accurate in providing information and educate their audience.

Like in the episode where 4 Lions tried to provide wrong information about obtaining a VISA with just using "ASR's Name" only proved that their learning the 8 PM viewers as not intelligent enough to figure out the flaws in the information shared with them. Of course, think about the demographics here. Let's see the division here:-

1. Elders

2. Students (College and School)

3. Home makers

4. 9am - 5pm job holders (Fixed timings)

5. BPO Work holders

6. Very Busy White Collared professionals

The first 4 of the demographics will watch it on time 8pm mostly; in case they couldn't then they'll watch repeats or recorded. 5 and 6 category viewers mostly will never have time to watch it on time unless it's a "must watch" episode, they will watch it recorded or rather catch all the episodes over the weekend.

Now, my purpose of explaining in details is to prove how 4 Lions and even Star take their audiences for granted. They very well know given their audience demographics it is very easy to fool certain people who have no idea how offices work in India; how a "Consulate" works in various countries??? Isn't it required for the candidate to appear for an interview??? When the episode aired then these are all small details that I skipped; you know why??? Because I saw the bigger picture there. At least people like us who have been through VISA interviews know the processes and here even Gul and Gorky and their actors have been abroad various times, then why this simple information is flawed??? Look at Anjali today??? Can you imagine the "Woman" keeps "Liquid Cash" in her closet and still doesn't have an "iPod"??? Oh yeah, my mistake. of course the woman here doesn't know about "Credit Card or Cheque" so obviously she won't know iPod. Oh, wait. She does know Cheque then why not iPod??? Have you seen any woman sitting in front of the "Speakers" and listening to the songs??? That too she is from such a wealthy family. Can't the woman search in itunes and get the music she wants??? I mean grow up CVs??? Her brother is a "Harvard Grad" and uses "Bluetooth" to talk where as his only doting sister doesn't have an "iPod" but keeps liquid cash in her closet??? Damn it Gul, seriously what you think your audience is??? You think they are so DUMB??? Have you really gone through the demographics or just blindly believed whatever Star had fed you with. I guess the later one is correct. Sometimes I believe with others that 4 Lions behaves like Star's "in-house" agency.

Let's come to the episode. I will write shortly on that.

When I had given the title, all I thought is about Khushi. Today's episode was for Khushi, because of Khushi, by Khushi and only Khushi. What I loved about the episode is when Khushi was offered Tea by Shyam, she didn't accept but then Shyam said by the pool - "Plan to kaam karna hi tha ... Bahut jald aap ke sapne hum poora karenge ... paisa aaraam badla sab kuch". Remember in "Little drops of Dew" I explained the "Tea" analogy with Khushi??? Yeah, Khushi has flavored everyone's life but at the same time, remember what Naani said that day??? She said - "Hum chai peeye rahe, Khushi Bitiya". Yes, Naani, Anjali they have known Khushi by now but did Shyam really??? No, he didn't and that's why we have seen he was not able to understand the true Khushi. The "Illusion" of Shyam has started. It all happened for Khushi and because of Khushi.

The Fox and the Lamb is winning in the game, as of now, which is Khushi. As I explained on Friday, it was all plan of Khushi and NK and no price for guessing that it was also recorded by them which will be played at the Terrace. Before getting into validating the song sequence I want to talk about some tracks here. The "Fake Miscarriage" track was indicated and it will be Khushi who will plan it in future when after the second attack Shyam will be exposed. Khushi said - "Mar gayee woh Khushi" and then she later said to NK - "Di ko paise wapas kar denge ' kam se kam ek jhoot se bahaar aa jeyenge". Yes, this is the hint that Khushi will make Shyam believe about the "Fake Miscarriage" and even Anjali but later on she will clear the stance in front of Anjali about the baby being always there. Just notice here, Khushi didn't mention the amount of the money to be returned but she said she will return the money to Anjali and we know the amount was Rs. 2 Lakh, right??? Well, who is Khushi is "marr gayi Khushi here"??? It's the "Baby Khushi". The doubt will start after the second attack as we witnessed Anjali's suspicion but that is a future track.

We will also have the "Baby Split" track indication again. Remember on Friday, I explained the "Fake Property" Papers and Khushi will use it to rescue the baby Boy. What did NK say here??? He said - "Jiju wohi papers ko use karke Nannav ko hurt nahi karenge"??? Have you all ever realized why Khushi address NK as "Nanhe" and NK says Arnav as "Nannav"??? Here it is:-

Nanhe = Nanha Shyam

Nannav = Nanha Arnav, and they call the baby boy as "Nanha Krishna" or "Nanha Shyaam".

The Raizada mansion has a big portrait of "Baby Krishna" and IPK is all about "Nand Kishore". So, in that context the NK implied when the "Baby Boy" will be kidnapped by Shyam then the "Fake Papers" will be used by Khushi and Arnav to save the baby; this will be a secured designed plan by Khushi and Arnav. NK also said - "Jiju bahut jaldi humein Nannav tak pahuncha dega". This means both current and future track. Of course Shyam himself will let them to the "GOAL". He has to.

Let me come to the "Song Sequence". We have witnessed their "Soul Union" previously. We have also witnessed ASR like a true dragonfly have started to walk backwards in order to get to the bottom of the "Kidnapper" but then again he was made to fall weak again. But was it really??? Did Shyam really become successful to weaken ASR??? Can "Love" be so weak or it makes one strong??? It definitely doesn't make one weak; as I have always described that ASR is not the man who cries over spilt milk rather he is the man who walks on the path ahead. Always remember every person needs a "Motivation" to live a life and dream a life with his/her loved ones. If there is no dream then there will be "No Urge" to live the life and fight for the woman/ man you love. Isn't it??? Indeed. I am not getting into the technicalities and the direction on the song sequence, because it was poorly shot but it was obviously better than the "Hut Song Sequence".

The problem is with the story line here. This sequence is justifiable but what needed was ASR thinking of Anjali's safety at the same time yearning for Khushi. It was their "Soul Connection" that the CVs wanted to convey but the major motive of this song was the "NECESSITY" for ASR to wake up from the Dead and start acting to his own rescue mission. Yes, if there were no urge and need for a life with Khushi to look forward to then why the hell he will act to resolve the issue in the first place??? Hence, in my opinion it was needed but the only problem with the justification in this scene was why not even once he was shown to even think about Anjali??? It should be his urge for the safety of both "Anjali and Khushi" that will make him start taking an action.

Today I want to take you to the scene after Terrace Confrontation on the wedding night where ASR learned the true facet of Shyam. After the massive truth ASR broke down in the middle of the road with him sitting on the road folding his legs with his heads clasped in the void made by the knees. That was the last time he cried and after that the moment he lifted his head up we witnessed the rage in his eyes and rest is history to us all. The same way today after his "Soul" rested back he realized he needed his Khushi and then he clasped his head like before in the void made by his knees. I know now when ASR will lift up his head then we will get him back on his "Determination" and then it will be the end of Shyam Manohar Jha because no ever messes with ASR's 2 Pious Ladies.

Hola everyone!!

Well I was not planning to reserve the first spot - but well as soon as I logged in - I saw Doodhs open REDUX - so I thought to put it up before I get anymore PM's.

I would not be writing for a week now - am going for a vacation with family to Goa!! (Yayyy!!!) If I do get to watch the episode and would get time, then I will be coming and putting up my thoughts on it - otherwise please bear with my absence this week. If time permits (since I am carrying official work with me as well :( ) I will be here on REDUX and may put up my write-up. Next week I will be back with a bang! :))

About today's episode - in short - loved the first and the second half! Loved like totally loved Abhaas today. Have a request to the creatives - that please show me more of Shyam's obsession with Khushi - somehow its delightful to watch!!

I would not talk about the Arnav Khushi scene because even though I did not hate it - there was no reason for me to like it - except if I want to watch BS. To the writers : I could understand the ILU, the almost con - but I could not understand the need of today's dream sequence. It so was not ASRish and nor Arnavish. However much Arnav misses Khushi - or longs for her - he would not have a filmy song picturization on her and himself. That is Khushi. More so it could have been better shot! I heart the Teri Meri dance sequence - today I am going to conviniently forget the last scene to retain happy memories.

It will work for your TRP's - absolutely - but I cannot see my Arnav / ASR dreaming on a song and dancing!! That is not him! I am sure there was a better way to picture Arnav's longing for Khushi than the song sequence. When Khushi had her dream sequence - atleast that was Khushi in the scene - but when Arnav dreamed - Arnav imagined himself wrong. However much love can change Arnav - it can maximum transport him to the pre-marriage stage where he is flirting in ASR style. Here he looked like a majnu to me and if this is how in the future Arnav's repentance will happen - then I am out!

Rest of the episode Brilliantly done! Loved it to bits!! Khushi outsmarting Shyam - Shyam's obsession (Wowww!!) - NK Khushi bonding - Anjali being a bit suspicious (brother sister separation or Khushi leaving Arnav for Anjali's sake since Arnav's dream was about separation as well) - all well done!

Loving the momentum of the episodes. Let us wait and watch kal kya hota hai! ;)

The episode was good and I liked it, yes, even the dream sequence. I might be in the minority here but for me this one was much better and justifiable than the previous one. (Anna please do not kill me). For me, it was the aftermath of ILU.

ASR never does things by half measures and if he has confessed his love then it is with his mind,heart and soul. His heart was always hers but his mind needed justification that she was innocent. I believe he knows that now and hence we saw the "Union of Souls". Loneliness can make you look inside yourself and Arnav's has made him realize the value and importance of Khushi in his life.

Today he is alone but in this world of darkness that surrounds him, Khushi is his only light. His soul is yearning for his soulmate. In the midst of that jail, she represented his passion, his desperation, his eagerness, his need, his hope, his strength, his sanity and his motivation. He almost lost her once and he cannot afford to lose her again and this will be his strength to fight against all odds because "Defeat" is not a word in his dictionary. He will win because ASR never loses.

Last time, it was Anjali's protection which prompted him to rise from the ashes of his life. This time it will be his love for Khushi which will prompt him to rise and be that person who once said "Arnav Singh Raizada apni kismet khud banata hain and apna mugadar khud likta hain" .Also, last time no one understood or heard his roar, his pain but this time his soulmate heard his pain through the subconscious connection that has been forged permanently between these two estranged lovers.

Shyam

Shyam goal in life was to become rich by hook and crook. It was a goal he had been planning from a long time and he finally achieved it by marrying Anjali. His life was perfect but there was something missing. When he first met Khushi, she struck his fancy and she became his obsession. He wanted her and he started working towards it but this time fate was playing against him. He lost Khushi and he almost came to the verge of losing all his comforts, all because of one person "Arnav Singh Raizada". Money was important to him than Khushi and he started planning to get both with one stroke. His plan was perfect and he would have won if he would have foreseen and consider two things: Arnav's mind and Khushi's heart. His this one mistake is going to be his downfall.

Arnav's Mind: Shyam was able to fool Arnav's in the past and he thought he can fool him again. Hence he did not perceive the precautions or the length Arnav can go to protect his interest. This was the first hurdle in his plan and he should have taken this as a first warning. It should have been the red flag for him to take precautions against Arnav's other sealed attacks. He ignored all the warnings and he is still walking the same path he had planned even though he is aware that it might not garner the same results. His overconfidence is making him sure of his victory and his ego is relishing the fact that finally he has the mighty ASR at his feet. He has forgotten the last time when ASR clean bowled him with one well aimed strike He has forgotten that its just takes one swipe at the legs to make the whole castle fall. Well, he has forgotten but we have not and like last time this time too it will just take one strike and it will be a treat to watch. Hopefully!!

Khushi's heart:This is one thing that attracted Shyam to her but for him it was never love, it was always lust and hence he failed to recognize the beauty of her heart, her values and her beliefs. His obsession has never allowed him understand that she is so pure that try as she might she can never be evil. His ill-motive has made him blind to her ever-present compassion to all the family members whom she can never hurt. But most of all, his lust has made him blind to her and Arnav's strong heart connection. If he would have recognized this and understood it, he would have he would have known that Khushi will never hold Arnav responsible for anything because for her marriage is very important and her husband the most important person in her life. He would known that if Khushi could forgive him for playing with her family feelings then she can definitely forgive any sin that Arnva's commits because Arnav owns her heart. He would have understood that for Arnav, Khushi can go to any lengths and even strike a deal with the devil or play with his emotions. That is exactly what she is doing and if he would connected all the dots he would have known her game plan and counteracted accordingly But he did not because to connect one has to know and understand love and Shyam Manohar Jha has never loved anyone other than himself.

Today, he is sitting on his throne anticipating his victory. He thinks he has almost won the war and he is finally going to have all his desires, his women and the money. Overconfidence, ego and lust has clouded his vision and he has forgotten that it takes just one move to change the whole game. By the time he realizes his mistake, it will be too late because not only by that time would he have lost the kingdom but also the queen.

Note to CV's

Study ASR's character from your old episodes because Anjali is the most important person in his life. Why is he not asking about her or thinking about her safety?
Do remember that you will ruin his character if you show that Khushi rescued him or he allowed Shyam to fool him.
I did not write on Friday, but I want to know is why didn't he scream at her and say, "Don't you dare try to rescue me and put yourself in danger" when she said that she wanted to tell you something or when she asked about the sounds. Wouldn't that be more Arnav as it portrays his need to protect at all times?
CV's the"katarnak" chemistry is gone down the drain. please can you make your leads more attune to each other before attempting any romantic scenes.

Ego.!! We all come with egos and it resides in us in different magnitude. In some it might be as small as a peanut. And in some as big as Himalayas. If a person is egoless, we as well add a prefix to his or her name.. Saint!!! And what does ego thrive on. APPROVAL. The food for ego is approval. And for people whose life is ruled by ego, it takes a different dimension all together. They control everything around them or at least want to control or try to control so that they over come FEAR. The fear of disapproval. Its very hard for them to digest if someone points anything negative about them. And at the same time its easy to flatter them. Praise them and they balloon up.

Arnav and Shyam ' both diametrically opposite but one thing in common between them is their gaint sized ego.

For Arnav, he has used this ego in a positive way. He has made a name for himself and very successful in life. Of course he has worked very hard for what ever he has achieved. Any time his ego was hurt, he turned it into a weapon for success. He has always been on the righteous path. So he has never harmed anyone on purpose. And because of Khushi's influence on his life, he curtailed his ego, overcame it and apologized for the first time. To Khushi. His ego has made him a better human not less. He has time and again proved himself to be a man who lives for his family and friends.

Shyam.. evil personified,evil thy incarnation.. vile man, vicious to the core. And full of ego. His ego is given enough fodder by people around him because of his sweet talk. His true nature never revealed until recently. He was living a luxurious life with his wife's money, having all the comforts, leading a double life, deceiving two innocent families.To satisfy his ego, he had easy access for money. He never believes in hard work. But hell broke lose when he was exposed. His ego bruised. He was losing control. Fear conquering him. But he had to win. So opportunity arrived in a silver platter when his brother in law saw him hugging the girl of his dreams. He used the opportunity to the fullest extent and brought wedge between two lovers. He was gloating because of the success he met. He thought he was successful in his mission. One mission accomplished. Now to have full control, the power of money is very luring. His rich brother in law has all that and more. So he used another opportunity kidnapping his brother in law. Then came a twist in the tale. The very girl whom he deceived has donned Shakti's avatar. The girl whom he thinks in nothing but a scatter brain is using his very ego as her weapon to finish him off. Today he even said that knowing her and how much he thought he knew her' he cannot fathom her this side. She is having blessing of the super power. After all this vile man has had his glorious days far too long. His golden era has to end somewhere. The sun has to set in his life. All of us come with a purpose and Khushi's purpose is to bring this man's deeds to light. The very ego he has will finish him off.

Shyaam is trying to copy everything ASR did to pacify the girls...he is walking and talking on phone all the time...he is trying to manhandle khushi by holding her wrists tightly at every possible occasion..

He also tried to emulate Arnav today on his pool chair...except for the little problem of his sleeves about to be torn due to his bulging biceps and overly tight shirts he is giving it his best shot!!

ASR's Dream:

two words...How realistic..!!

ASR imagines himself...looking feeble and frail...kapre bhi all white or yellowish white just like a patient...shave barha hua...same confused expressions on khushi's face...

usi kidnapped place per lights hang ki right in between the glaring bulbs and bas dream hogaya...So basically to maintain continuity the CVs made Kidnapped Arnav part of the dream rather than the ASR we have been pining to see...

Arnav bitwa make your fantasies a bit better darling...Acha sochne se acha hi hota hai...so dream a better one next time!!

But I shouldn't be complaining CVs have finally listened to us...no chamko detergent today...BUT

Dear CVs when i spoke about Chamko detergent I meant for his vest..not the shirt he is supposed to dream himself in...dreams main sparkly white and pressed shirt chalta na...or has ASR lost his famous taste and style..the one

that said kapre aapko banate hain...kahan likha hai..that you do not press your clothes when you are in LUUUVVV or wear white shirts that tend to be yellowed with time...

A few Questions and comments:

Was it a flaw in the script or intentional when ASR and I mean ASR ...the smart alec who has a Harvard brain and intelligent thinking and strong observation who said haanyahan se aksar train guzarne ki awazain aati hain..shayed station hai qareeb main...

safely assuming that ASR has been there for a day or more...and Shyam hatched a plan to fool khushi later by playing the CDs...shouldn't have ASR commented that the ringing bells and train noises are coming today??

Dear Script writer...next time when narrating flash backs please narrate them in a way that it feels that she is discussing her plan with the other person rather than actually narrating the story to us...it looked really stupid when she said...pehle aap ne pata kiya shyam ji di ke kamre main hain...phir aap ne woh aadmi ko kaam kerne ke paise diye...she was telling NK what he did which was not needed...what was needed was that she tells that to us...she could have said...Jab aap ne hamain bataya ke shyam ji kamre main hain and di bhi wahan hain...phir aap jab us aadmi ko paise dene gaye thay tab hum ne di ke kamre se awaazain suni...I am sure you understand what I am trying to convey...

Dear Khushi...if the lawyer was not Mr. Roy it doesn't mean that he was not a lawyer...what was the logic behind you thinking that if it wasn't the right lawyer then the papers were fake...a legal document is a legal one..whichever lawyer prepares it..I hope you read it before signing it...

Dear Shyam...you are the dumbest villain in the history...you make a CD to fool khushi and end up gifting it to your wife...😆

All in all again a good episode where we see Khushi succeeding in her plan of making shyam trust her this will ultimately lead to his downfall...but the end... why was the dream sequence so NON ASRish!!😕

Dear Mr. Khan,

It is with deepest regrets that we would like to inform you that you have once again failed in the all important exams of 1001 Steps to Romantic Song Picturizing.

We like your near & dear ones had high expectations of you, on your this attempt, but must sadly point out that our group of Examiners found it once again not upto mark & were left wanting.

I am taking this opportunity to bring to your notice & highlight some of the glaring errors, which brought us to this painful conclusion of yet again failing you.

1.Firstly a dream sequence should look like a dream sequence .. by just showing an out of body experience of the protagonist one doesn't establish a dream sequence nor does one justify one. If I understand the meaning of Dream then it is something which is a little away from reality ' then why in a dream sequence .. where the protagonists are going to get passionate, will the setting be disgustingly rustic ' Why would a millionaire imagine his love song in the middle of wooden crates & ladders... when he is making passionate love to his wife. Why would The hero imagine himself in the kidnappers den in his dream sequence?

2. In a dream sequence as per the manual 1 of 1001 ways to shoot a dream sequence you will read that when a person dreams of passionate love between himself & his lady love he would imagine them to be at their best. Or was your hero so over powered by his scrounge look that , that was all he could imagine .. a highly unkempt hero with a weeks old beard going to serenade his love. ( is it any wonder that the love ran away) In a shoot of a dream sequence' Could u by any chance give an opportunity for your pretty heroine to look sexy .. as a man passionately in love would imagine his wife .. .. I can understand through the white clothes you wanted to show purity of their love ' but purity can be SEXY as well. Also would it be too much of an effort for the make up team to understand that since the outfit is white it needed a bit more deeper make up to make her face stand out .. & not look pale? I am pointing this out to you as you are sitting on the monitor while shooting the scenes & are privy to the same look as ur audience & can change or amend it.

3.I can understand time constraints & the fact that this was sprung up to you in short notice ' would it be asking to much to get a song picturized by a proper Choreographer ' so that the shots have some flow & continuity to them.

4. Due to time constraints I can understand that you needed to shoot the sequence in less time ' is that the reason you did the song in all of 3 ' 4 shots then kept repeating them ' its like the person dreaming had limited capabilities to spread his imaginations.

5. Lighting was one of the major reasons for you to fail in this exam.. Sir ofcourse we will be writing separately to Mr Gandhi on the same .. but would like to point out to you as Captain of the Ship or the Director of the show you are equally responsible. In a romantic sequence when the leads are emoting .. their love & desire for each other... normally the viewer is stuck onto their face 'to read the said expressions. Now when you use filters ' the lights in the backdrop & foreground diffuse & we can see diffused blotches of light on the performers face ' instead of their expressions ( I know it's a challenge to get your female lead to emote Romance but this is no way to overcome that challenge).

6. Now to my next question .. what were you implying through the dream sequence ' was the implication of blossoming love between the leads?

Were you by any chance telling us that the hero is imagining a perfect time he would like to spend with his wife if all were ok in his life? Then please do tell me why is the said lady going away from him is this what a man in love imagines that his lady love is going away from him' u could have called it a nightmare sequence then '

Now as I understand the sequence, you wanted to convey'.that while the Hero has declared his love for his Wife ' the wife is yet to declare her love for him ' now pray do tell me did this message come across in your direction of the song? ..

If your aim was to show coquettish love by your female lead ( by making her start the sequence with a smile).. then sir once again you have failed because then your song selection is wrong ..it should not have been an intense love number.

7.Now to my next point what was the need to repeat the song, which you have already used to incomplete success in the past.

Was it to correct past mistakes then sorry you have failed because the same editing, lighting, wardrobe glitches were seen in this as well.

Was it sheer laziness in selecting a new number.. then sir the times are murky now no time to be lazy.

Was it sheer resting or capitalizing on past laurels ' then let me leave you with one question do you honestly think you have achieved that?

I could once again go on & on ' but would prefer if you join us for training in our special batch for 1001 ways to shoot a Romantic Song class post haste.

As I end this note to you I would like one very personal question to be answered by you' Mr. Khan could you please send me a preci note on the NEED for a ROMANTIC DREAM SONG at this juncture of your tale?

I am going backwards today on this episode by starting off with the last 5 minutes ( oh was it 5 minutes or was it blink & you miss it kinda sequence)

Firstly Darling Gul & gang ' what are you guys thinking??? .. why are you guys getting pressured?? ' would make an earnest request stop being pressured by us fans .. the show is not about teeny bopper love story ' so don't go for showing us that. There was no need for the whole sequence today .. Why does ASR have to dream a new setup at all ' I would again like the HUT CON sequence ask you ' wouldn't a meaningful conversation work better ' OK OK I get it you cant show that because then you will have to reveal your plot '. BUT I ask you one thing ' why couldn't you show FLIRTATION between the two '.instead of this blasphemy in the name of romance.

I would request you to do a dip stick among this very teeny audience or you entire audience base & check if they would have loved it even more if you had given them FULL FLEDGE Flirtation instead. Since from the beginning you have shown ASR expressing his feelings through his flirtation with KHushi ' then would it not be natural that he would Dream of the same? By simply giving us flirtation instead of mushy romance you would have put paid to all comments of a change in the whole PERSONA of ASR ... one which if it happens will rock your entire fan base.

Why was a filler episode like todays planned at all' could you not have maintained the whole intrigue behind Khushi tricking Shyam & the role of NK ' again here u have submitted to some fan forums which were wondering & crying not an MU yet again .. you know most of your viewers know that there is no MU in the way .. so why do u need to justify urself at everystep ' Don't worry the fans wont go off so easily ' we have stuck through worse & we will stick through this pathetic attempt of romance also with you ' please do not take us for a ride ' we have time & emotions invested here.

Ok Guys .. I think I am all ranted out '.

Now for the rest of the episode'.

Ok OK I have one more rant left in me ' Gandhiji ' romantic song ki toh aapne dhajiya udda di ' but a simple scene of Abhaas today in the pool side usko bhi aapne kya kar diya??

When Shyam has his monologue in the pool side ' what a lovely set up ' the evening dusk lighting ' the beautiful blue of the pool ' & shyam lounging this was perfect ,'. Then Shyam moves forward to finish his monologue & this is the most important part of his dialogue .. where he has to emote ' & u shoot this from the top angle ' Not only does it distort Shyam's face ' It totally ruins all the expressions that he gave .. because the viewer couldn't catch it ' could you please look into the monitor or Khan Sahab u look into the monitor & see what we are going to see & correct it please '. Please stick to simplicity .. no need for stupid camera jugglery spoils the scenes ' which are beautifully penned not only screenplay wise but dialogue wise as well.

Now for the episode '

Most of what played out today .. was laid out on Friday for us to conjecture upon. We knew through the precap that when Khushi will go to sign the papers Shyam will be present so she will know that this has some ulterior motive behind it.

EXCERPTS FROM MY POST YESTERDAY

but for me more interesting was the Precap ' Note when Khushi is signing the papers Shyam is there ' he is the one who gives her the pen to sign the papers'

I would think that will make Khushi doubly cautious .. she doesn't trust Shyam she knows he is not upto any good ' I feel this too will come to bite Snakewa on his backside ' soon '

Today the noteworthy thing in the episode was a for a lot of people the answers were laid out bare .. if you for one second doubted that Khushi was getting played by Shyam then that was put to rest ' the whole plan of Khushi tricking Shyam with the aid of her trusted accomplice NK was laid bare for us '

Now for what I loved in the episode;

I loved the tea stall convo between Shyam & Khushi ' this was my basking moment ' it was wonderfully written, wonderfully penned ( dialogues) .. wonderfully shot, & Most wonderfully performed ' ( Looks like Sanaya is recovering her lost glory ' only in drama .. she still sucks at romance)

But the icing on the cake in this scene .. was Khushi's outburst .. & her explanation to Shyam on why she had changed & how circumstances created by both Arnav & Shyam were responsible for change in her nature ' this was brilliant .. it was put for all viewers like me who look for logic in all scenes & dialogues ' this was to satisfy even the most cynical palate ' she is justifying to Shyam because under no circumstance 'would Shyam believe that a Good Soul like Khushi is out to take revenge ' she knows he is testing her ' & she plays with him ' Now for the other gem in this scene ' yet again she confronts him & tells him she hates (HIM) Shyam equally .. she is still blaming Shyam for the problems in her life '. Making Shyam react '..

See the brilliance of story telling here ' She has made Shyam convince her .. she hasn't tried convincing SHyam at all .. she led him to REIGNITE THE LUST he felt for her ' she made him sense a chink in armour ' & Shyam being the weak deluded lover ' stepped right into her trap ' once again like a puppy wearing his heart on his sleeve he confessed his love for KHUSHI ' there once again TRIUMPH for Khushi ' she is really using wonderful mind games to win over Shyam ' as Malsub pointed out today .. KHushi today became ASR.

Then ofcourse came the scene of the unveiling of Khushi & NK's master plan .. as Khushi walked into her room where NK was waiting for her .. & out came the whole story for us ' to know how & why did Khushi do what she did ' why did Khushi shake hands with the villain ' happy here to note that NK is privy to everything except the reality of the past of Khushi & Shyam relationship.

Loved the determination on Khushi's face today .. that she would trounce the evil ' loved the way NK comes to console her when she is disappointed that she has not found a clue to Arnav;s whereabouts'

Todays whole episode had one major Point to Ponder ' the opening of the Pandora's Box .. or rather the opening of the ANJALI's Pandora's box ' today again u saw a glimpse of the real Anjali ' u saw she does not always take things at face value ' because if she did ' she would not have questioned Shyams & Khushi going away together ' when she herself has sent them a couple of times away on errands together '. This is the Anjali .. who likes to keep all the strings in her hands .. this is the Anjali ' who likes things to be under her control ' we have always seen glimpses of this Anjali ' & I for one am waiting for the day that the Real ANJALI SINGH RAIZADA emerges from these glimpses.

Now as I end this ' I started this review with a note to the director 'or popularly know here as Khan Sahab ' I really thought I was all ranted out after I outpoured in the letter above ' but but '

The dream sequence today for me looked like it was put in as an after thougth ' there was no link to the main episode .. it abruptly started & there was no build up to it ' even the HUT almost CON the other day had a build up to it ' but this was way to abrupt ''Now I will leave you guys with a simple scenario today ' on how one could have linked the episode with the dream sequence with zero effort ...

The sequence starts with KHushi standing near the pool side remembering Arnav & looking at the stars '. Now just imagine the same setting with KHUSHI carrying Arnav' s shirt or any other personal belonging in her hands .. caressing the same .. probably nuzzling it ' & missing him like crazy ...

Now pan you get to Arnav .. in the kidnappers den with Khushi's pom pom in his hands .. looking at it ( see u cant show stars in Arnavs kidnapped den & so they dint show it) caressing it .. desparately wanting to feel her around & bang she comes in his dream ' walks across to him & his dream starts ' that's how one links scenes ' & the abruptness would've gone & the dream would get relevance ' I am sure .. here all of u could make a 100 more such relevant links between the episode & the Dream seq ' but had Khan Sahab used just one ' we would not have found the dream seq abrupt ' or not questioned why did it happen .. or not questioned .. on the majnufication of Arnav '

Anyways I leave this post with a smile & a little anger ' for I loved something in the episode while I hated something as well '..

But tomorrow is another day .. another bridge to cross & another milestone to travess with Team IPK '

So guys I will be tuning in @ 8:00 Pm sharp IST to watch a fresh episode of IPK tomorrow ' Hope to c u there.

Khushi Kumari Gupta is indeed one such WOMAN.. and what a WOMAN she is.. She has time and again proven her to be DAUGHTER any parent would be proud of.. She loves her family so completely that she will never let any harm come to them.. She showered them with LOVE and RESPECT.. She looked out for them.. She sacrificed her ego, self respect to keep them happy..

She proved her worth as a SISTER.. when she wanted to fight for her sister's dowry.. She again brought her sister closer to the MAN of HER DREAMS.. So much so.. She sacrificed her happiness for her sister's and became dowry herself..

She proved to be a wonderful Human being.. for whom the relationships and people mattered more than anything else.. She was a great FRIEND to Lavanya..

Then she became KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA SINGH RAIZADA.. It didn't matter to her whether ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA considered her his WIFE.. It didn't matter whether he gave her the status of his wife.. She ALWAYS will fulfill her role as his WIFE.. She will protect her husband from harm, defamation and will never hurt him in anyway..

She always will first consider his wishes and then consider hers.. She can take up any role she is required to.. Today she has to his SAVIOUR.. She will go to any lengths to save him, protect him and bring him to safety.. She will even befriend the ENEMY and swim in dangerous waters, just so that she can reach her HUSBAND, her LOVER, Her LIFELINE..

Today's episode was the insight into a WOMAN Khushi has turned in to.. She is learning and learning FAST.. She now knows what she is facing.. She now understands her enemy.. She knows his strength and his weakness.. She is learning how to play with them.. She knows that she has to first make Shyam trust her.. Did you notice how beautifully she played Shyam on Shyam without even blinking???

How does Shyam Operate or has operated in the past?? He plants an idea.. He says some words.. He lays the plot.. And he makes you say the WORDS.. so you end up thinking, it was your idea from the beginning.. He makes you believe that he doesn't want it.. but cos you are insisting he's doing it..

He knowingly had put sindoor on Khushi's photo.. but told buaji, dekhiye na kya ho gaya humse?? He told garima and bua ji that babu ji was very worried abotu Khushi's marriage.. triggered then into thinking of him as groom.. He told Khushi he is doing it only for her family... He kept telling her that he had something important to talk to her.. So when he was exposed, he used those moments to make her believe that he did want to tell her the truth.. He played on their weakness.. Payal's marriage. and forced them to think and keep quiet..

What did Khushi do today?? She asked for his help.. Airing his self importance.. And she knew that he would not refuse.. OH!! the look of approval she was seeking from Shyam before signing the papers was CLASSIC.. and only when he said its ok, by mere blinking, did she sign the papers.. inflating his EGO further..

She kept on reinforcing her view that she hates them both equally.. Riling the lover in him.. She put him on the same stand as Arnav, which she knew would not sit well with him.. And there he was telling her how wrong she was.. He always has given her love.. when Arnav has given her nothing but hatred.. She let him touch her.. Let him think that she was so lost in her misery of being wronged.. and was burning in the fire of revenge that she did not notice, the hand on her shoulder, and jerked it off at the right moment.. She managed to convince him that she was no longer the same girl who she used to be.. She has been forced to change..

She played him like a flute today.. He was a putty in her hands.. She has managed to entice him.. She was able to draw him deeper into her web.. She was finally able to WIN his TRUST which was essential for her rescue mission..

She has learnt from her past mistakes.. She has a fairly neutral accomplice in NK.. and a HUGE table tipping accomplice in DEVI MAIYYA.. And she is keeping him up to date with the investigation and her plans.. She knows that to take Shyam down, she needs someone who will support her and has been with her every step of the way.. Because if its only her and him in a face off.. then the DEVIL has a sweet tongue.. And he can sweet talk anyone.. She could not prove her innocence to Arnav last time.. But this time she knows, that walking with Shyam will not be easy.. he will implicate her when the truth comes out.. In fact, it was NK who made her realise, that Shyam will never accept anything she says in front of others.. thus they need evidence.. they need to prove beyond the shadow of doubt who the culprit is..

Look at the transformation this girl has undergone.. She has come a long way from that Khushi.. who blurted out the whole lavanya thing in front of nani.. She is measuring each word.. She is planning every step..

This time of adversary has indeed show the mettle she is of.. She is Definitely " A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE"

Today she is an example for every single woman who knows her.. that no matter how difficult a situation is.. No matter how alone you feel .. If you keep trying and remain positive, you will achieve your GOAL..

only thing that is pricking me right now is.. what was in those papers she signed?? Were they just fake property papers or was there anything more to them?? How does she think that signing those papers will prevent Shyam from hurting Arnav??

Abhaas and Sanaya were excellent in their scenes.. If you look at it like this, she was acting in front of Shyam.. And was very convincing.. Didn't ASR always say that "Waise bhi tum acting achchi kar leti ho.. Is liye tumhaare liye happy married couple ki acting karna difficult nahi hoga?"

For the much criticised dream sequence

I need to say that when I saw it for the first time.. I did not like it.. I could not see any sense to it.. I could not understand the reason behind it.. But then I saw only the segment from Khushi's FB's to Arnav's dream/ imagination.. (he was after all awake 😉)

Khushi's flashback's were interesting.. the first moment she was confused by his actions.. when he out the payal on her feet.. the first intimate touch.. when he was lost completely in her.. And the first time his lips touched her skin.. Her desires and her longing was shown beautifully..

I saw it once, twice, thrice.. And then finally it clicked me.. I liked it.. I appreciated it.. I loved it..I agree it was a hurried one, it had flaws.. One major one was it was shot in the kidnapper's den where we could see the cartons and the ladder, it was abrupt... BUT it had passion, It had chemistry.. it had acceptance..It had love.. It was BEAUTIFUL.. Cos I finally just concentrated on Arnav and Khushi.. Not where they were.. not what was around them..

Some would say it was majnufication of Arnav aka ASR..

For me it turned out to be a true reflection of ASR's desires and fears as Arnav..

It began with Arnav looking around for Khushi and there is so much pain and sadness on his face and his eyes.. he looks at Khushi's sad face and just keeps looking.. when he sees her dazzling smile.. And his heart and the eyes start gettin warmer.. The way he pulls her to himself.. Was a true character of his.. When he wants something, he gets it.. She is HIS..

They were twirling around.. but they were completely lost in each other's eyes.. They just kept staring into each other's eyes with so much intensity... look at their expressions when she walks away from him.. There is so much pain in their eyes.. He is looking at her so expectantly to save him from himself..

When you see his face, you can feel the way he feels for her.. His love for her.. She means the world to him.. She brought colours and laughter in his life.. He who only believed in himself, considers her as his shadow.. who is far from him.. He is asking why did lord show him such a dream when he had to break it in reality.. (pre marriage till terrace confrontation).. His heart is breaking when Khushi disappears.. And then she comes running and hugs him from behind.. when they finally meet at the kidnapper's den.. and then she leaves again and disappears.. One thing he is scared of, that he will be left behind by everyone he loves.. Like his mom left her.. Khushi's disappearing is just that.. He is scared to loose her.. It was the reason he took so long to realise the depth of his love for her..

It was like a loop closed for me.. Which was opened sangeet.. at Sangeet we had Khushi singing "ek dooje se hue alag jab ek dooje ke liye bane." Today we had Arnav realising the same thing and singing the same lines.. he has realised that they are meant to be together..

Arnav said to her on sangeet and new year, she has no brains.. Khushi said.. he has no heart.. Today we saw them becoming each other's brain and heart.. Today, Arnav was her brain.. and she was his Heart..

He then comes back to reality... searching for her.. and cries out her name into the darkness.. For the first time, he was scared of the surrounding darkness which was engulfing him.. Khushi could hear him calling.. She is so helpless that she has no clue where he is.. Where to look for him.. With each passing day.. each day she spends at home.. and he in that place.. the worry for his well being eating her heart...

I leave you all with the quote which fits ASR perfectly..

Thanks for opening this thread at the right time... the previous one broke all records as were almost headed for a 4th part !!!😆 Will wait for your analysis and title !

I was online while watching the episode live on TV and Sandy (mommamia) was there too... and she asked how's the episode going... I replied brilliant... so far so good ! And then they showed Arnav's dream sequence, and I was like... what the hell is this ! Rather... WHY the hell is this?

Anyway, here's my take...

The episode, for me, started from where it previously left off... Khushi trying to entrap the snake... and what a brilliant job she did today... as Tants would say, its her Arnavification !

She asks Shyam to help her with the lawyer stuff, and Shyam being his usual self, lied to Anjali and went off with her... As per Dood's predictions and analysis... we saw the first seeds of misunderstanding between Khushi and Anjali being planted today ! How the CVs will connect this in future, we'll see !

So Shyam thinks he is testing and passing Khushi, but what he doesn't know is Khushi is the master of such examinations. She convinces him not just the fact that she hates Arnav for ruining her life, but manages to tell him that she still hates him... which makes her more believable to him. He has started to a ray of hope in his lust for Khushi... He wants to give her everything - love, money, everything ! Khushi has finally managed to seduce him.

The scene between NK and Khushi revealing the real plan - both Sanaya and Karan did a good job. As expected, it was Khushi's plan... no twist there... the good part was how she has connected all the dots from Mr. Roy to the train noises in the background - the trap has been laid !

Shyam's monologue near the pool - the camera angle, lighting, editing, dialogues, music, acting - everything was perfect.

For me, today was Abhaas's day... once again he portrayed the character brilliantly. I must say, I was never a fan of Abhaas earlier, but for the past few days... he's doing a marvelous job. He doesn't need dialogues. The sudden twinkle in his eye when Khushi reveals to him about Arnav's phone call... it was visually brilliant. Added to it, was the brilliant background music for Abhaas. 👏

Coming to the last part of the episode, the dream sequence of Arnav. My only question to the CVs... WHY !!! Why now? And most importantly why so abruptly !!!

You want to show that Arnav is missing Khushi... it would have been so much more beautiful had they used the flashbacks of their intimate moments together and Arnav's longing for his beloved ! Yes, the guy is in love ! Yes, he wants to be with her... Yes, he may fantasize about her... everything accepted... but this is not a 3 hr movie, that show a dream sequence and all is well !!! It would have been more justifiable if Khushi was the one dreaming... that suits her character... but ASR dreaming of Lip-syncing with Khushi ... this is not the ASR we have lived with for the past 1 year ! It would have made better sense... if the FBs were his and dream sequence was hers !!!

We all want romance here, after all that is what we signed up for when we started watching IPK... but then not such a hurried job of it ! We know Barun's not available full time... but then with clever editing and use of FBs to show the desperation of being with your beloved... the CVs could have managed a better use of Barun's tight schedule and shot for something which contributed further to the story ! The romance can always come back later... when you have your actors fully available and dedicated to your shoot. the only thing good about the dream was that Sanaya looked beautiful... for the first time she looked like she was Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada !😊

Pointers:

1. Sanaya - still needs to work on her romantic expressions.
2. Barun - please eat something... u need more flesh on you ! 😛
3.1 CV's - Romance - A Big Hell Yeah !!! But such a hurried up / patchy job of it... No Way !!!
3.2 CV's - Does repeating the same song implicate that our hero knows only one song?? I mean, we all loved the earlier version on Teri Meri song (so much so that, every time I heard it... the images of Khushi in a beautiful green Saari and Arnav with that sexy smirk on his face kept coming to my mind - instead of Salman and Kareena, I swear) -- why did you have to ruin it for me this time? Couldn't you guys use any other song !!!!
4. The Marketing Deptt - Please have a serious brainstorming session, make desirable promos and time them well enough for people to look forward to what's coming. Your marketing has been very week... how do you plan to compete with other programs !

The only reason I decided to make a post today in redux was because today's episode has been my reward for a 6 month long wait. On 20th January, during the Sangeet, Arnav & Khushi identified themselves as one with Dimaag and the other with Dil. Since that day, I have been waiting for the day they will prove each other wrong. One angle to this equation was that they complement each other being poles apart. But I wanted them to prove each other wrong - because only then the cycle of respect will be complete between them.

Today, without any verbalization, I could see them choosing to walk down the path they have chosen to deny earlier. They claimed never to be like the other and now they are comfortably filling the other one's shoe. This will eventually complete their understanding of each other, will allow them to appreciate each others' strength, preference and POV of life. They will now learn the power of both brains & the heart and the biggest lesson of life for them - brain & heart are not each others' enemy.

The contrast was evident on the face today and that was my only reason to logically accept Arnav's dream sequence.Arnav's dream sequence has actually allowed me to appreciate Khushi's dream sequence too. I now understand why Arnav was chasing Khushi like a love-struck puppy in her dream and why Khushi was in a much revealing outfit today. It was ASRish and I could smell something burn.

The impact of the Hut interaction was also clear today ... Their burning desire has taken them over. Even Khushi's flashbacks today was not innocent at all - those who thought Khushi did not want the intimacy, looks like she does now. 😆

The major part of the episode was all about Khushi. I wont go into details since I have already read others making wonderful post on that. I loved how she kept herself intact by making sure to point out the fact that both Shyam & Arnav have crimed her. This was to convince Shyam of course, but was not this the truth also?? Khushi has alwasy been my favourite character ( a bit more than Arnav too) and I am happy the team is finally exploring her potential. How shocked both Shyam & Arnav will be when they will learn how sharp Khushi Kumari Gupta's brain is too and how she knows to play around with people! They have both neglected her capabilities - I do not care about Shyam but how can I justify Arnav doing the same?

The Dream sequence really seemed detached to me. Quality wise it could have been directed better & of course, linked better. It just appeared from nowhere. But as I have already mentioned, the only reason I have accepted it because it completed a loop for me. From one Teri Meri to the other - their story has gone throug a full-circle. The brain vs. heart battle they started just prior to the First Teri-Meri is on its way to closure through the dream "Teri Meri." I want to believe CVs have picked Teri Meri again consciously and they wanted us to refer back to the first one. I just wish they executed it better.

For Khushi

Translation - A good person never gives up his nature even when he is caught in calamity. Camphor caught with fire emits more fragrance!

Khushi is like camphor. Everyone knew she is kind and exhibits good nature. Now in the testing times her character has come to fore which is witnesses by Mami and NK.

For Shyam

Karpur dhoolir chitalavaalah Kasturika panka nimagnanaalah Ganga jalaih|

Sikta samoolavaalah Svayeeyam Gunam Mucchati Kim Palaanduah||

Translation - If an onion plant is grown in camphor bed, musk is used as a soil for it, or it is watered with Ganges water (the holiest of the waters), will it give up its characteristic pungent odour?

The central idea is that a person's basic character remains the same, no matter what efforts you take to change him. Shyam is one who will not change his ways ever...now when he feels Khushi has turned vengeful too, he will try to get rid of Arnav once and for all.

Both are burning in the fire of separation. Their relation with become strong under this fire...like ore turns into gold under fire.
