Seema v/s Supriya

So from where should I start? Both the ladies ( though I am sure you wouldn't like me to call them ladies) had quite a few similarities, firstly their names started with a 's' and ended on an 'a'. secondly they both came in the life of dutta as a whiff of fresh air and with time our hero lost his heart to them only to be broken by them later on, he trusted them, somewhere loved/liked them but they didn't feel the same about him. Thirdly he wished to marry and settle down with both of them but I guess none of them deserved him. Fourthly if seema transformed dutta to dutta bhau by betraying him then supriya's elopement awoke the ruthless gangster in him. Fifthly and most importantly both of them had a pathetic taste, if seema went for that old garage owner and later on for that monkey chaskar then supriya was no less she loved that constipated looking man who wore tight fitting shirts…seriously leaving a handsome hunk like dutta for those idiots..amazing

Now lets analyze who was better, seema or supriya? (I know it's a hard task but give it a try for my sake). Seema with her harsh words," jaib khaali aur chaiye seema jaisi gharwali." Killed the innocent dutta, she broke him beyond repair as a result he stepped into the world of crime to earn quick bucks from where he just couldn't return. Her betrayal filled so much of bitterness in him that he lost faith in the beautiful emotion called love.

Years later thanks to AS, supriya came into his life, with whom he dreamt a future. But her aloofness soon started to bother him and he preferred to share his feelings with nakku instead of her. However With the intent of cheating on him, supriya tried to win his trust by attempting to kill herself in front of him and her trick worked perfectly. Our man failed to see her real face till she ran away with her boy friend on the wedding day , crushing his dreams and feelings into pieces by leaving behind that awful letter for him. Somewhere I feel nakku was also at fault, she'd caught her red handed with that ravi, that time itself she should've disclosed about supriya to dutta, instead she kept quiet for dutta's sake and made the biggest mistake of believing supriya once again. Anyways , coming back to supriya, she was not even once ashamed of what she'd done to dutta, she was always scared of his temper and feared that if she'll tell him the truth he'll kill her and her boy friend. However I feel her fear was justified to an extent , after all marrying a gangster is not an ordinary thing, especially her family back ground was totally different from his, so if she felt disgusted on seeing his blood soaked hands then I will not blame her but I certainly wish she'd shared her anxieties with him honestly.

After supriya left, seema made a re entry, however by this time she'd changed for the better. She'd realized what she'd lost and hoped to get that back by seeking forgiveness. But it was too late dutta had already fallen in love with his wife and there was no place for her in his life. She saved him from chaskar, helped him in getting his eye sight back and in the end gave away her life for him. According to me she played an important role in uniting tasha and thus managed to earn some respect in my eyes even after committing several mistakes not to forget that even towards the end after knowing that tasha loved each other so much she still acted selfish and disclosed about their whereabouts to kala thereby breaking dutta's trust one more time.

So with a very heavy heart I'll have to say that seema was better than supriya. What do you think? Please do let me know.
