As we grow up, we never realize

how lucky we are to have gotten

A F A T H E R - Gift of Love

A Superhero to some

a Rolemodel to others

and means the World to many!

Today is a very special day to all of us

as we remember and appreciate

one man in our lives!

Friends, please join us to celebrate this day!

I circled my little hand around his index finger,

Taking its support as I stood up,

Wobbling on my weak legs,

As I stood up for the first time,

I looked in his eyes and saw them shine.

They shinned as my feet moved,

He smiled as my lips curved,

A giggled escaped through my lips and

A smile formed on his lips.

He left my hand and moved a few steps back,

And opened his arms wide for me to run into them,

I took forward a wobbling step, nervousness creasing my forehead

Scared of falling down on the ground, I looked up and found his arms

Ready to catch me as I fall, ready to save through any downfall

He set me on my feet again and opened his arms wide again,

This time wasting no more time I ran into them.

As I walked in wearing my high heels

I looked in his eyes and saw them shine.

As I stumbled on my feet,

He moved forward ready to catch me.

He has been there for, he is there for me

And I know he will be there for me

Ready to catch me as I fall, ready to save me from any downfall.

There's no doubt that the most important relationship in this whole world is that of a child and parent. Its the most purest and selfless relationship... a relationship which is based on faith, trust and love... a child only wants love from his/her parents and a parent wish the same in return. It's universal fact that we always show more affection to our mother but forget that our dad is equally important, if heaven lies in a mother's feet then a father is the key to heaven.

My dad's always been my biggest inspiration and strength. I love him the most and look upto him the most. They say that God always makes some special people that are "givers"...they are always there to help the needy...give support and expect nothing in return. and I can proudly say my dad is one of those whom i've seen help so many people settle in their lives...help them whenever they've needed help be it emotional or financial help...he's always been someone everyone can count on. Not many people have that heart nowadays to help others...someone who thinks about others before they think about themselves...a trait very few share but a trait my dad holds.

He's been the biggest support system during my times of hardship and pain. He was there for me when I went into the operation theatre for my second operation. I held his hand tightly before falling unconscious as they injected an anaesthetic. He describes that moment as one of the most painful moments in his entire life because I was in pain and he couldn't do anything to lessen it. For the first time in his life, he was so helpless and for the first time in his life he had cried when he came out of the theatre...

My dad's the most special dad in this world... who looks out for me and is always there for me. When I'm down, he's there to cheer me up. When I'm happy, he's there to share my happiness, when I'm in pain, he's there to wipe my tears. when I'm in need he's the first one there to give me the supporting shoulder. when I'm angry or in a mood he's the first to calm my anger down with his sweet and consoling words. He's like the shadow which will never leave my side and will always be there me for every second of my life.

For every daughter, there comes a time where she has to bid her parents a farewell and leave their world to enter a new world with new relations. At that time, the biggest pain is leaving her parents whom she misses the most. I know that time will come in my life...and even now when i think of it, my heart sinks and tears fill my eyes...i dont want to ever leave you dad...i can't leave you. I love you too much to be able to live without you. I say i love you more often to mum than i do to you. i know you know how much i love you but i still want to say it today...i love you dad...more than words can ever express...i love you so much that i can't live without you. Promise me dad, you will never leave me...never ever..!

Father's day is celebrated to honour father's and make them feel special...but i feel everyday should be a father's day because you are so special that even saying I love you and thank u everyday will not be enough for all you've done for me...for all you've given me. Thank u dad for being my dad. its such an honourable feeling to be known as your daughter...im so proud when people recognise me as your daughter...no feeling can match that feeling of pride when they refer me as your daughter...so much respect in their eyes for you. I love you dad...never change...stay the way you are. Cos your a rockstar! My very own rockstar!

We fight. We argue. We complain. We don't understand each other the way we want to understand each other. We have issues. We have problems. But a father-daughter relationship is one such relationship that nothing can ever change! No matter what a daughter is a daughter all her life. I wish nothing but the best for my dad. He deserves it. Where I am today is because of him and my mom! I have no one else to thank, but them. This father's day will be a special one we will be on vacation! :)

Here's wishing each and every father figure on screen & in real life a very happy father's day!! We must never forget the true value of a father! :) Because he is one of a kind!!!

Words cannot express the love I have for my dad..He is my best friend and he knows that really well..I share everything with him..he is my pillar of support..without him I am lost!..he makes me feel so special each day..My Dad makes me feel strong!

I remember the worst days of my life when he had to leave mom and me to go abroad due to some work he had to do there..I was young and not that mature..he left all the responsibilities on me and I didn't want to deceive him..he believed in me unlike others who said I was still a child..

During his absence, I felt void inside of me, a part of me was missing..I had to call him everyday just to listen to his voice..this experience made me realize how much he really counts for me..

He knows one day I will be leaving but he still manages to smile and considers me still to be a kid as he does not want me to grow up..what he does not know is that I really don't want to grow up..I want to stay with him forever!..whenever I am upset, he feels it..he gives me a moment to myself as he knows I will be coming to him asking him for a hug which he will pleasantly give..he is my protector..simply my EVERYTHING!..

To all the fathers out there..I wish you all a very Happy Fathers Day!..for each and everything you keep doing for us..a big THANK YOU..I know this is not enough..we can be mad or angry at you sometimes but we love you from the bottom of our hearts..<3

It feels good to have someone's hand over my head..
It feels good to hear an "I trust you, no matter what.."
It feels good when you give me a gift..
It feels good when you wish me all the best, on every Sunday morning!
It feels good to have you in my life, dad!

You have given me much more than I asked for! Thank you so much dad, for trusting me.. for letting me enjoy the way I wanted.. for supporting me throughout! Yes sometimes i do get upset when you say something! But isn't that "ghar ghar ki kahani"?😆 In the end I am and will always be your "daayi dikri😳" I promise never to break the trust you have in me😃 Thanks for being there dad! I Love You!

OMG i won...*shocked face*...this was completely unexpected...i wrote it in such a haste...but thanks so much for choosing my poem...

this day is very special for everyone...esp for children who share a special bonding with their fathers...usually we all are very out spoken about over feelings to our mothers but we forget to share them with our fathers ...so lets take a moment and praise all the fathers in the world for being the best father to their respective child...we all love u dad...may you always be there for us...

Lovely Father's day post, and Happy Father's Day!

For me there is no difference between a mom and a dad, I love them both equally and that's how it should be, because if one gives us strength then the other gives you wisdom. Sometimes we get mad when they make decisions for us, but they say that you get mad at the person that you love the most. These hardships just makes the bonding all the more stronger, and I want to thank my Dad for always being there for me, teaching me about right and wrong, and giving me the hope to succeed through failures. Thanks Dad for everything!
