Part 27

"But what are those people asking Kaka??" Veer asked him very casually...

Kaka didn't wanted to tell Veer...but he knew that Veer should know about his industry and business and what's going on with it...

Kaka informed Veer about the workers in one of his companies is sitting on strike... "there are few violent people among the workers who are manipulating all the workers and asking them to stop work"

Veer infuriated... "why didn't you tell me before..." but then he himself was never interested in his business or the big empire that his Father and his forefathers had been running...then how could he expect Kaka to inform him...

He suddenly get so worried...there was an urge...he couldn't somehow see anybody spoiling what his Father had established, be it just a part of the big empire...he must go himself and sort this problem...

"Kaka I am going to Mumbai...i know how to solve this problem..." angrily he walked towards his room...

Kaka was surprised to see Veer's reaction...his old eyes couldn't believe what they had seen...for the first time in his life Veer took the responsibility on his shoulders...

Kaka knew those men were dangerous and sometimes even carry some sharp weapons with them...he thought of informing the police and getting their help if the things get worse...

Next Day...

"But Chandni how can we send you to an unknown place and why do you want to go now???" Meenakshi queried

Chandni knew her family would never allow her to go alone...she quickly thought over "well I am going with Maneka...actually its a project...we...we got it from the college..."

"Maneka!!!!... that's even shocking...how can her Father let her go alone...he's so over protected..." Kamini snapped annoyingly... "and girls don't go alone..."

Chandni was unable to convince them... she had to find another suitable way of going to Rajasthan...

"i am getting late for me college..." she picked up her bag and left...

All the workers were surprised to see him... this was the first time when all the staff saw him in his senses...most of the time he was drunk when they saw him...

Veer asked them again... "so what are your demands???" his voice was loud and commanding... the workers could feel the authority and dignity in his voice that impressed them...

Rahgu and his men saw him from the distance... "he is becoming our hurdle...if the workers keep on listening to him then our plans will fail." they were not a part of the company... "we have to throw him out of our way..."

"But Chandni...why only Rajasthan?? I mean the college trip can go somewhere else..." Professor Smita replied...

Maneka took out her huge pack of chips "forget it Chandni...i am telling you no one would go to Rajasthan..."

Chandni thought something and replied "but maam '..we already live in the hills and most of us haven't seen the desert and specially the beauty that Rajasthan has..."

Professor Smita was astonished as Chandni was never interested to go in any of the college trips but this time she was suggesting a place and trying to convince... "Chandni I am happy that you are participating in the college activities and events...but we have to take everyone's opinion..."

After a long meeting with the directors '.Veer was driving towards home...but he was happy, for the first time in his life he realized how big his empire was...how many companies came under him but he was never interested to even look at his business...

now he realized why his Father couldn't give him much time... he saw his phone ringing "yes Kaka...don't worry everything's sorted...i will come tomorrow..."

as he kept the phone...he saw his bottle of whiskey... "how can I forget you" he stopped the car...opened the bottle and slugged ... it was difficult for him to live without drinking...

As he was driving when he saw few men coming in front of his car...Veer stopped the car...

Raghu looked at his men "lets get him out and kill him once and for all" they looked at Veer who was still sitting in the car...

after few seconds he stepped out with his bottle... they saw him drinking... Raghu smiled "he's drunk...its even more easier now"...they started approaching Veer who stood leaning against him car and drinking...

"wait" he shouted '.. "let me finish drinking..."

Raghu laughed at Veer "yes yes...let him finish...we can wait..." they all laughed...

"It seems destiny has written your name on my every breath..." Chandni thought while moving her spoon in the empty plate...

"Chandni...what happened?? you aren't eating anything?" Meenakshi passed some salad to her...

Chandni's thoughts came to halt when she heard her mother's voice... "yes mom...thanks" she took the bowl...

she didn't thought anything and started her dinner...

Veer threw the bottle away and walked towards Raghu who was smiling... but Veer punched him on his face... It was so hard that Raghu couldn't get up again... his men saw Veer full of anger...

They approached Veer who smashed, punched and kicked them all over making them difficult to get up... "can't believe...he's drunk and he can beat" one of them said while looking at Veer who casually walked towards the car...

Maneka took out her books and searched Chandni's books to copy the assignment when she saw a watch in Chandni's bag...

she remembered she had bought this watch for Veer...Maneka remembered she didn't ask her again about Veer...and if there's only one watch it means Chandni must have given another watch to Veer...

Maneka looked at the watch "what is so special about this??" unknowingly she pressed the black button...

Veer parked the car when he heard the beep... he saw the red light flashing in the dark... "So you are missing me??"

he pressed the button on his watch...

Maneka looked a the flashing light... "what was that??..."

she again pressed the black button...

Veer smiled... and dialed her no...

Chandni was trying to sleep from past two hours...she heard her phone...as soon as she looked at the no...she angrily picked it up "you don't leave a single day to let me sleep in peace" livid at Veer's behavior.

Veer wasn't sure what she was after... "why do you pretend??"

"now you are getting on my nerves Veer...just...just stop your nonsense" outraged at his attempt

Veer was silent for few seconds "enough Chandni...now you wait and see the result of this" he disconnected the phone making her think deeply about the consequences of her rudeness... she would definitely not be able to face the devil...what if he does anything this time...

She was angry at him but helpless at the same time...

After few minutes...

"Maneka...is this the time to call??" Chandni was still furious over the previous caller who had completely snatched the sleep from her eyes...

"Chandni I know...but I wanted to inform you, that I have your watch with me...it was in your bag, and I pressed the black button on it...you know what it started glowing red..." Maneka told excitingly as if she found something new...

"oh no...Maneka...what???? why???" Chandni wanted to pull her own hair... "Maneka...who told you to press that button???...you are not less then him..." she canceled the phone leaving Maneka think what she had said...

Chandni knew Veer must be thinking that she was giving him those signals... "oh God...please save me from the monster you have created in your wonderful world..."

It seemed sleep was vanished from her beautiful eyes...she switched on the lamp by the side of her bed...then turned it off... she repeated several times during night...

she thought of calling Veer and letting him know that she wasn't giving him any signals and it was...but she knew he would not believe...

Next Day...

She was lost in what Veer had said the previous night

"enough Chandni...now you wait and see the result of this"

"Chandni...Chandni...where are you lost???" Kamini asked while offering her the sweets...

"no...nothing Grandma..." she took the sweets and drove for her college...

"fine...give me the watch..." Chandni asked angrily...

Maneka gave her the bag "all your books are in this bag...and your watch as well..."

Chandni felt bad for getting angry at Maneka...incensed by her fate and the things happening with her again and again that make her paths crossing his path every time...as if her life cannot move ahead without him...

"Maneka...did you feel bad...i know I hurt you" Chandni said politely...

Maneka smiled at her "Chandni...i know something is disturbing you but if you don't want to tell its alright... I will always be there to help you"

"thanks Maneka..." Chandni smiled back and assured her she won't shout at her again...

Kaka was furious with Manohar "if you don't believe anything...then I can't help it...but I have seen with my two eyes..."

Manohar laughed "i know these old eyes must have seen something very interesting...Kaka I already told you before that nothing is going to happen to Veer...and you created so many stories..."

Kaka knew it was a waste of time to talk to him...he carried on with his work...

Manohar laughed "if Veer heard your story...he will laugh as well"

"i don't want to argue with you anymore..." Kaka angrily walked away...

Late evening...

Chandni had her dinner...she went for a warm bath as she usually does before sleeping... she filled her tub with warm water and her bubble bath...

she enjoyed, as it relaxed her from her thought... she was blowing the foam on her hand when she heard a sound...

confusedly she glanced around...she was shocked to see Veer looking at her from the window...

It was a huge window, and how come she forgot to lock it... "Veer..." she couldn't speak loudly as her family was downstairs and they could hear '...

he slowly entered the bathroom...and stood at a distance from her...

Chandni was angry and at the same time she wanted to cry... her fate was so bad that every time it created weird situations for her...

she couldn't come out of the tub as she wasn't wearing anything...she was miserably helpless and clueless...

"So Chandni...enjoying your bath" he smiled at her worried face...

Chandni knew the door of her bedroom wasn't bolted from inside and if anyone comes in... "no..." she said '.

Veer gazed at her worried and beautiful features "no!!!..." he took few steps from one side of the bathroom to another "well...i thought you were enjoying..."

She looked at the bathroom door that was bolted...she was relieved at least no one could enter the bathroom... "what are you doing here???" she sounded rude and angry...

Veer came closer to her "i have come to..."

Chandni frowned "come to what???"

Veer mischievously answered "have bath with you"

Chandni couldn't control her anger...if she would get one chance, she would definitely kill him and happily go to jail...

but anger won't help to let him stay away...she took a deep breath "Veer...please...just leave from here..." she must send him away before anyone sees him...

she looked at her bathrobe that was at a distance...her hand would not get there and she won't come out of the tub in front of him...

She again looked a him while his eyes fixed on her "Veer please leave..."

Veer started taking off his shirt...

"What are you doing Veer???" Chandni worriedly stared at him...

Chandni was now worried...she was sweating...her family was outside and here this devil was ready to enter her bath tub...she couldn't think of any way out...

As she saw him coming closer...she shut her eyes tightly...
