"Send him in." Kripa instructed her secretory over the phone. A few minutes later, the door opened and in stepped a built man that was around the height of 6'2. And Kripa had to admit, Angad Khanna looked hotter in real life than the pictures. She stood up and shook his outstretched hand. "Please take a seat Mr. Khanna." Kripa said motioning toward the sofa. She pulled out a chair and sat across from him. "Just call me Angad." He said sounding bored. Kripa nodded. "So tell me, you are a lawyer?" Kripa inquired. Angad rolled his eyes and crossed his arms across his chest. "Everybody knows that. Tell me about yourself." Angad said flirtatiously. Kripa fought the urge to roll her eyes. "Please try and co-operate with me, we don't have much time anyways." Kripa said taking out her notebook and pen. "Do you know why you are here?" Kripa asked. Angad grinned. "Of course. Because my step-father thinks i am messed up in the head and have issues." Angad replied rolling his tongue in his cheek. "Why do you think he thinks like that?" Kripa asked leaning forward. Angad shrugged. "I don't know. I don't talk to him much. Who cares what he thinks? I wouldn't have been here if it weren't for my mother." Angad said bitterly. "Do you have friends?" Kripa asked. Angad gave her a look. "Of course i do." He muttered puzzled. "Do you hang out with them?" Kripa asked him. "What do else do you do with your friends?" Angad scoffed. Kripa sighed. "Do you have a girlfriend?" Kripa asked. Angad smirked and leaned forward. "No, i don't. Not for you." Angad said with a crooked smile. "I meant- i wasn't asking because-i just," Kripa was cut off. "I get it. It's ok. To answer your question, yes. I have girlfriends." Angad said leaning back again. "Girlfriends?" Kripa questioned. "What? Is it a law to only have one? And being a lawyer, i think i know the law pretty well." Angad replied. Kripa took a deep breath. "Alright. Is there a friend of yours or someone that you can trust and talk to about everything?" Kripa asked. Angad rolled his eyes. "I don't need help okay? I am perfectly fine. I don't need to talk to anyone." Angad said annoyed. Kripa smiled slightly. Ah, there is the problem. She thought. "Something funny?" Angad questioned. Kripa looked at her watch and grinned at Angad. "I don't like to talk to anyone. You're times up. Make your next appt. at the front desk." Kripa said standing up. Angad stood up and studied her for a while making her feel self conscious. "So you're telling me i do need help." Angad said in a clipped tone. Kripa shrugged. Angad sighed and walked out without a bye or anything. Kripa shook her head. If Kripa knew one thing, then that was that, Angad Khanna was not only going to be her hardest case but probably the most mysterious as well.

The ring of Kripa's cell brought her out of her dreamworld. "Hello?" Kripa said. "Kripa! Are you free?" Kiran Dutta yelled into the phone. Kripa laughed. "Yes Kiran. Why?" She questioned. "I was bored. Lets go for coffee!" Kiran suggested. Kripa smiled. "Sure." Kripa replied. "See you at Starbucks in half an hour!" Kiran said hanging up. Kripa grabbed her jacket and drove to Starbucks.

"So...maybe i should just date him." Kiran said thoughtfully. Kripa laughed. "Whats this guy like?" Kripa asked. "Oh! Kartik's really sweet. His family and my family have been best friends since God knows when, just like our families!" Kiran said excited. Kripa nodded. "So you like him." Kripa said quickly. Kiran nodded. "Well then you should say yes to him." Kripa suggested. Kiran nodded again. "Kartik invited me to a party tomorrow. It's like a youngster party or whatever, you have to come with me. I need moral support." Kiran said desperatly clutching Kripa's hand. Kripa laughed again. "Okay okay. I'll come. But right now, i have to get home." Kripa said getting up. "Bye!" Kiran said grinning.

Kripa entered her house and found a grim looking Armaan. She rolled her eyes and opened the fridge. "Whats with you?" She asked. Armaan ignored her and continued to look at the blank TV screen. "Fine, don't tell me." Kripa said annoyed. "UGH! It's...i...Dad pisses me off so much sometimes!" Armaan exploded. Kripa walked over to him and sat down beside him. "What happened?" She asked. Armaan muttered stuff under his breath. "He told me to get his medication for him and i got it because but i didn't read the name. It was the same medicine of course but mom's. When dad read the name, he freaked. He said he didn't understand how i became a doctor. I was an idiot and other stuff." Armaan finally finished with his face red with anger. "Do you realize how hard it was for me to keep my anger in check!" Armaan exclaimed looking at Kripa. "I told you need anger management classes." Kripa said lightly. Armaan glared at her and stormed out of the house. Kripa groaned. What the hell was wrong with her family? "Who just slammed the door? What happened?" Her aunt yelled from upstairs. Kripa clenched her hands into fists. It was none of her business what happened in the house! It wasn't her house! Kripa thought bitterly. "NOTHING!" Kripa yelled. She walked to her room and opened up a book to read.
Another one of her favourite things to do. Reading always took her into another world and she loved that feeling. Anything that would pull her out and away from her family and her life, she was fine with it and in fact she loved it!
