The episode belonged to Mahua and Sanam. They didn't toe DC's line but acted like true judges who value dance and respect a real performance despite having to make compromises to survive in their own world. Their dialogues packed a punch. Sanam's dialogues had the bite and sadly that is what is missing from DC's dialogues, these days.
Mahua saw herself in Meenakshi. The naive, young Mahua who must have had the same dreams like Meenakshi but then had to let go her real dreams and become someone else. It's quite easy to say to not give-up but then wind of circumstances is the cruel devil that rarely spares anyone.
And, Sanam followed DC's terms and conditions in order to be part of show, but now when he is part of it, he knows the power that his chair holds and thankfully, he is intelligent.
The episode completely belonged to Mahua and Sanam. Absolute beauties and wonderful, restrained performances. I will miss the characters of this show.
