I think Saath Nibhana Saathiya has 6 months maximum left.
It's in the title of the show, come and fulfill the position of my Saathiya, Rashmi Sharma's intention was to get all the couples together and end the show. Aham accepted Gopi, RaJi need to have SR, Kinjal to accept Dhawal and that will end the show. Rashmi Sharma can extend the show if she wanted to, as a couple you support your husband or wife even after accepting them as your spouse, but she is afraid of longevity of shows, she likes the newness of the show. Rashmi Sharma by giving the lead role to a new person wants the TRP to drop further and Star Plus put pressure on her production house to wrap it up, that way she can use the excuse that the TRP was low and Star Plus pulled it, but her intention was to wrap anyway after all three couples reconcile.
Giaa wanted to do Jhalak dikhlaja whilst she has the opportunity, next year when Saathiya is finished, they wouldn't have asked her, they wanted her this year, as they can identify her from a leading show. I think Giaa believed she would find a way to do both, she was willing to do both shows, as she knows Saathiya is finishing this year anyway. She took the matter to the actors commission it's a regulatory authority CINTAA but they took the decision in favour for the production house and immediately Rashmi Sharma Telefilms production sacked Giaa Maanek without giving her an opportunity to withdraw from Jhalak dikhlaja. Giaa is suing CINTAA and she was upset when speaking to Mohammad Nazim (Aham) on the phone, it's obvious by those two actions she was pushed and did not want to leave of her own accord.
The facebook and twitter accounts are run by the production house to keep a pulse on the ground, what fans are saying and thinking and sway each fan to what they want.
So we know Saathiya is ending in December most likely, we just want Giaa Maanek re-instated and us to enjoy watching the rest of the show. As watching the new actress in the role was not enjoyable, she's the lead actress and as a result given a lot of screen time and she has a lot of hang ups, that made the show loose all it's charm.
