YES...SRK wasnt an overnight success...Infact SRK and AA started their careers on similar notes...SRK played a sidekick to Rishi Kapoor in Deewana, and AA played a sidekick to SRK in Pardes...
Both AA and SRK had a few flops after their HIT first film(which wasnt a hit because of them)....the Difference was...SRK is very intelligent and marketed himself well...I remember reading an article where it was said that he used to meet Producers at regulat clockwork..One has to work hard..No substitute for hard work...Sitting at home thinking that a role would drop from the sky is plain idiocy🤢....
Infact it was Aamir who was slated to play SRK's role in Darr...Aamir and Saif Parampara was quite a hit,and it was producced by Yash Raj..so after parampara,YRF wanted to rope in Aamir and Sunny Deol for Darr...But Aamir interfered in the script, and wanted Sunny's role to be chopped, which Yash Chopra didnt agree to,and thus SRK got the role....and after Darr, there was DDLJ and then there was no looking back....Its all serendipity, but one has to market oneself well
Bipasha Had a rough patch after Jism, and then after her weight loss, she went up to producers and asked for roles.....Same With priyanka..Priyanka was Miss.World in 2000...ever since 2001,she wanted to enter films..But she made her debut only in 2003 ....She struggled, she waited, went up to producers and asked for roles, sucked up to Akki and Akki got her roles like in Aitraaz,Mujhse Shaadi karooge, the two films which overnight catapulted her into the limelight.....
Originally posted by: moondust If AA was a 'real' SRK, then he wouldn't have left B'wood after a hit film, in which he was a flop 🤢..I mean, SRK wasn't a overnight success 😕 ..his ambition and determination helped and MADE him succeed 😃 👏 ..oh yeah, I remember FH appeared in other b'wood films after Pardes-dhund, lakeer.......which he was still a FLOP🤢🤢..but he took a looooooong break after Pardes, until 1999/2000 with another b'wood film..If he was really focused on being 'famous' in this career..he should've stayed in b'wood, and established himself well..THEN, took a looooooooonnnnng break..whatever😕..like he should've MADE himself get NOTICED..no wonder directors didnt give two s**** about him..he didn't try hard🤢 SRK worked HARD to get where he is..look at the number of films he's done-consectutive year after the other...
I completely agree Moni...AA was extremely laid back with the butter wouldnt melt in the mouth attitude...and Now,looks like he has woken up from the slumber, but yet with all of SS' shenanigans(a ka bragging,PDA etc),he's hit square one again.....SS's stupidity isnt doing him any good🤢...If he wants to come up,he HAS to cash in on his Armaan Suri Popularity, get a good makeover, get a good haircut, don good clothes, hit the gym and build some muscles,he must eat healthily, and must ask SS to SHUT her trap...Did Gauri give 544845232225565633255263 interviews when SRK was struggling...NO!!!!!....

well the densely thick ass that FH is said in an intvw that he didnt want to be typecast in the same role as he played in pardes--that of a rich brat and so he said no to offers..i mean wouldnt one rather be typecast and be a hit that waitttt and waittt and waittttt for a role and be a flop..
but all this has yet not explained to em why SS has a BIGGGGGG head and bragggggggggggggssssssssssss about an FHRG😕
I agree...Didnt SRK do the same thing again and again....He too was typecast in the Rahul/Raj/Rohit kinda roles....and it not only kept his bank balance ticking, but it also made him a superstar....But one must always stick to what one's good at ....AA should have experimented after he had become a big star, not when he was struggling....Hell,UPain plays the same casanova kinda roles again and again, that's his USP and he's cashing in on it....AA was sadly, unintelligent and didnt know the knack of the profession
