Pics: 'Shanghai' team pulls crowds in Delhi

Just days before the release of the much-anticipated film Shanghai, the movie's lead actors are wooing the crowds in metropolises.

Emraan Hashmi, Kalki Koechlin, Abhay Deol and director Dibakar Banerjee were in Delhi to promote Shanghai and they were able to attract huge crowds to the promotional gigs. At Shipra Mall, for instance, hundreds of fans turned up to have a dekko at the film stars. People filled in the mall, lined along the balusters and cheered the Shanghai team as the actors took the stage.

Emraan Hashmi got the maximum cheers. He wore a T-shirt that read "Proud to be dirty". Kalki Koechlin was dressed in shorts and a white shirt, perfect for Delhi summer. Abhay Deol even had a coat on.

During their Delhi stay, the team also visited the JNU campus and had a healthy discussion with the students of the university -- known for its active political ethos -- on several issues related and unrelated to the film. Dibakar Banerjee even made the Shanghai team grab a bite of the JNU canteen food.

Kalki, for once, looks gorgeous.

Not dressed as a hippie I guess, like she always is.
