The media was recently abuzz with the news of Star Plus' show Mann Ki Awaaz… Pratigya going off air. But the makers (Walkwater and Spellbound Productions) can now heave a sigh of relief as we have learned that the channel has given the soap an extension of six months.
Everyone in the cast and crew initially got worried when the 'off air' news hit the headlines. But given the show's popularity and striking content, the channel decided to retain it and instead, waved goodbye to its other serial Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein.
"Yes, it's true. Pratigya has got an extension and it will stay on the channel. We thought that the show will go off air but later we got a confirmation of its extension. Now the entire cast is happy and relaxed," affirmed Pooja Gor, who plays the role of Pratigya.
We tried contacting Arhaan Behl aka Krishna but he remained unavailable for comment.
It's certainly good news for the fans of the show
