Wow Gopiji what reverence for your husband, the saree is burnt and you still want to keep it.

Because it's the first gift to her personally, it's too special. 😆 But I question this because isn't that giving a man too much. I know she sings that yeh Gopal and she has that line in the song that she is comparing him to Ganesha...but I think it's too much to say to your husband I'm not going to throw this thing away because you gave it to me, sentimental reasons.

I'm not saying with her skills as a seamstress she can't repair the saree, afterall we see Gopi wearing more then one colour in a saree, most of the time 2 or even 3 colours in the same saree, and now looking at that orange saree all of it orange perhaps she means to put a different colour with it and make it usable...But I do question instead of saying because you gave it to me I don't want to throw it she could have said I will mend the burnt parts and make it usable.

I worry Aham is going to be too big headed then he is already.

It is not that Nafissa.
Gopi's love is kind of ethereal and she has Ahem on a pedestal.. Correct or not, we cannot say..

But I think the thought behind the gift is what matters to Gopi and that is why she thinks it is precious.. It is a beautiful feeling.. The fact that the saree burned has not meaning because the fact that he wanted her to have the sari matters more than the fact that it got roasted in the fire..

It is just a token for her. She may never wear it. But she will have it as a token of his love😛

I understood that Harini, that we receive gifts from people we love and possibly might love us too (as in Gopi's case she doesn't know yet how much exactly), and when that thing is no longer useful but in this case never useful you keep for sentimental reasons, but to tell him this why I'm keeping it.

It's reverence of the worst sort. It's my opinion I don't think it's right.

I did say why it's not correct, because it gives that person a big head and we know what an ego Aham has, now he is finally a soft loving human being instead of a quick tempered monster he was before, Gopi wants to turn him back to a ego maniac. Uff.

Actually Ahem will never become that person again.
His ego is not without reason.. Another thing is that, Gopi's actions are humbling and not adding to his pride..
Her selfless acts, her love and her reverence have become a humbling experience for Ahem because he sees how pure his wife is and how unique compared to others. He has his flaws and he knows that her love is very difficult to match..
Gopi is just breaking his ego more and more by these things and not feeding it😊

I think that is the angle the CV's are going with this, and when Aham gets more and more soft they will lend the show, it seems after today's episode I feel that more and more, that all obstacles are gone now, all that's left is for Kinwal to get together and RaJi to have their SR and it will be all that she wrote.

Consider a person, who, for all their life lived on scraps. Whether it is food, clothing or affection. As I once wrote on one of Navya's threads, 'The smallest of gestures brings out the brightest of smiles.' This aspect is true for Gopi as she truly feels grateful for whatever little she is given. Ahem needs to appreciate further the simplistic and selfless way of life Gopi leads otherwise he is in danger of taking her for granted.
