Short Update: Dev blasts BBP for framing Krish. BBP makes Dev face a few hard hometruths about himself. Dev goes out and crashes his car. Arti comes to know from Govind Shanker that Dev is not all he seems to be. She and Harivansh go to his house and find him gone. Arti breaks down in front of a sleeping Pooja.
An angry Dev is confronting BBP at his house over the frame up. Dev says the deal was to prove BBP innocent, not to frame an innocent man. BBP wants to know why the CBI's most corrupt officer has suddenly developed a conscience. Dev says its simple humanity and BBP laughs at him. They trade insults for a while and then BBP has Dev thrown out of the house because he is bored of him and his drama. In the middle of this BBP manages to be disgusting when he says he loved Pooja and the CM's chair but he had to sacrifice Pooja for the sake of his chair because that was his childhood dream. 😡

Dev leaves promising revenge to a contemptuous BBP. He drives around aimlessly, remembering the words of BBP and then crashes into a wall or stone or something.
Govind Shankar is telling a badly beaten Krish that they have the statement all ready for him to sign - it says Pooja become a famous singer, Krish got jealous, and had her shot when she refused to abandon her career. Arti comes there and demands to see Krish. GS laughs at her and asks her who will prove Krish is innocent. Arti says Dev will do it. GS leans in and tells her in her ear that her god is only made of stone and Dev is not what he looks like. Arti dismisses him and goes away with Harivansh in tow but outside, she is overcome by doubts.
They go to Dev's house and find him missing. Harivansh and she speculate about Dev and his possible corruption. Arti says she's trusted Dev like she trusts God, and if that trust is betrayed, she will never trust anyone in this world ever again. Harivansh says they were once again betrayed and counsels her to stop living in denial. Dev's Kaka listens quietly without saying a word. Arti notices this and asks him for the truth about Dev's character but Kaka says nothing. Arti leaves and Kaka says to himself that what can he tell her about Dev's character?
Bhavna sees the news of Krish's arrest and is overcome by self loathing. She blames herself for not helping Pooja more in her time of need. Her father comes to see how she's doing and she says she just wants to leave this house as soon as possible because she hates the very sight of him. Her father is left looking after her with a troubled face.
Later the Tiwaris and Billu sit sadly around and listen to the news. Everyone bought the Krish story and are congratulating Dev for breaking the case but Dev is nowhere to be found. Arti goes to a sleeping Pooja and says she fought all she could but she lost and couldn't give her sister her justice. She breaks down crying and Pooja just lies there as usual.
Precap: Arti is kneeling next to a drunk Dev and asking a million questions. He flings her off and says he has no answers for her. Arti slaps him.
