Exactly !...DC has alot of experience and I'm pretty sure he's been through some really testing times and difficult situations that have forced him to change his outlook on life. DC has learnt how to survive in this world and now he's gonna teach meenakshi aswell...even if it is indirectly. She has a long way to go though but she'll get there eventually !

People have a lot of misconception about DC that he is doing all this to harass Meenakshi, We live in a world where NOTHING is easily available and struggle is very important .. The tagline Shurat badi Kameeni Cheez hai Jitha Dethi hai ussay kai Zyada cheen lethi hai.. From time to time He has been putting Meenkashi on acid test and its very important as for her to emerge successful she needs to test herself in these aspects, When she keeps her stand firm she is emerging a winner and she ignites the fire inside herself..
DC knows this clear and I am sure thinking abt Sameer case he would have emerged himself very strong against this tough world..

He needs to be manipulative for the audience as they are the ones who want more of anything which they like and fixed on it...Survival needs certain norm learn it my way or your way the path to success is the same YET principals I keep and you also that wud make a person reach the No1 position.

Meenaxi has herself told as per last episode that whatever DC has doen so far has been for her good, he has always supported her and she does credit him for all the help he has given. Let's see what happens next . By going against her , is DC still support his fav contestant so far or otherwise. It is hard to tell as promo says a rift ,a clash of ideals while episodes might clear all doubts
