In search for love, and in search for that completeness, both Rishi and Indira met each other, almost like star-crossed lovers, but unaware of it.To redeem for his past actions,i.e. the accident of Indira's brother with his reckless driving,Rishi comes all the way to Delhi to find Indira and help her in her mundane struggles. He stays at her house as her tenant and gradually starts living Indira's life;a stranger, who makes Rishi feel what he had never felt before:the pain of love;makes him desire for something he had stopped desiring from his family:the desire to love and being loved in return.Where as,Indira starts to rely on Rishi;a stranger, who has gradually occupied a space in her heart;who has unlocked that door, which no one else ever dared to come across.Indira too, starts to feel an urge to let herself fall in this stranger's arms once;starts believing, which she, almost, denied all her life:in love.Unaware of a strange force that has been pulling them ,Rishi and Indira share a special affinity for each other. They start accepting each others' differences and overcoming the fear of falling in love;Hard as it is,Indira senses a feeling of joy when she is with him;she feels the sense of pain and loss when Rishi is not around. And the same feelings are shared by Rishi also, who finds solace in Indira's arms.
In Rishi's search for peace of mind;and Indira's search for happiness, these two different people start living each others' dreams. They are not alike, and nothing none has anything in common, yet they walk along in the journey of life. And in this context,we can refer to an American author,Richard Bach, who describes a soul mate as a twin soul, somebody, who has an affinity in love and friendship that goes beyond superficial compatibility. In fact,a soul mate does not necessarily shares the same taste in music and clothing,or even agrees with one's lifestyle;just like Indira and Rishi, who have so much of difference in their thoughts,in their philosophies.Where as ,Indira believes in honesty and truth;Rishi doesn't mind lying,or being dishonest sometimes for the good of people whom one loves.Rishi takes life with ease, where as,Indira takes it with a serious note;where Rishi doesn't mind letting himself free for a while,Indira enslaves her desires and aspirations. When one is jovial all the time, the other is gloomy;where one is free in expressing his feelings, the other hides her feelings inside;where Rishi is smooth and flexible,Indira is rough and stern. The characteristics that both lack, are completed in each other. But in spite of all their differences, they are two souls in one body. They complement each other and makes them feel complete.Rishi finds in Indira, his 'other self',and Indira finds her 'other self' in him.
What else can one ask for more, when he,or she has found the 'other self ' in each other?Whether it is the divine intervention,or not,Rishi and Indira has found their soul mates in each other.Rishi and Indira's story makes us believe that, someone, somewhere is made for us.
Friends this was just a small note on the essence of love that plays an important role in all of our lives. In the story of these two people,we're indeed celebrating love.Share your views on love and on the bond of Rishi and Indira.
