Wid that Maan left from there wondering why he told her to take care of herself. How does it matter to him. He never says this apart from his loved ones. And, she's a complete stranger though it doesn't felt like. He just shrugged off his thoughts & walked to his car.

Raj came near Geet panting. "huff, yeh le teri ice-cream."

Geet(sarcastically): Don't u think tu thoda jaldi aa gaya! I mean kal parso tak aaram se aana tha, itni bhi kya jaldi thi tujhe?

Raj(understanding d sarcasm): Woh kya hai naa yaar, main toh aaram se aa jata but yeh ice-cream melt ho jati.

Geet: oh really!

Raj: yaah.

Geet(smacking his arm): tu factory mein ice-cream manufacture karna gaya tha kya jo itna time laga?

Raj(rubbing his arm): ouch Geet, lagta hai. And, btw ek toh woh chuttan itni dur tha phir waha par achhi khasi line lagi thi toh main kya karta. Yeh toh phir he chuttan ne mujhe deklh liya aur pehle de di warna pata ni aur kitna time lagta.

Geet: u knw wot, Shagun is rite. Tere pass har situation k liye bahana ready hota hai.

Raj: wotever! Anyways, woh ladka kaun tha?

Geet(busy wid ice-cream): kaun?

Raj: GEET !!

Geet: uhh woh, pata nahi.

Raj: pata ni matlab? u were talking to him & u dnt knw who he was?

Geet: umm..actually main uska naam poochna bhool gayi.

Raj(this time it was his turn to throw sarcasm): yaah rite! But am sure usse zaroor tera naam pata chal gaya hoga.

Geet(looked annoyingly at him): wotever.

Raj: waise wat was he saying?

Geet: arre kuch nahi yaar, mujhe yaha akela dekh kar...

Before Geet cud complete Raj interrupted.

Raj: tujhe akela dekh kar kya? Was he miss behaving? tujhe chhed raha tha?

Geet(rolled her eyes🤪): uffo lemme complete 1st.

Raj: hmmm

Geet: He saw me alone & wondered why am all alone here this late? Am I in some prob or wot? So, he just came to hv a check if am okay or needed any help.

Raj: okay. But I guess u both talked for a while, rite?

Geet: yeah. Actually, when he cald me I got startled & was abt to fell off the edge but he instantly grabbed my hand & pulled me. Toh bas a little chat.

Raj(shocked 😲): wot?? u were falling? tu thik hai? kahin lagi toh nahi naa?? Oh God Geet! u r so damn clumsy at times.

Geet: relax am fine. He saved me on time.

Raj: hmm...he seemed to be nice guy.

Geet: hmm...anyways lets go am feeling sleepy now.

Raj: okay, lets go.

Both made their way to home. Maan too reached home & as quitely as possible made his way into his room. The moment he entered his room he sighed, "phew, thnk god dadima ne dekha nahi warna itni raat ko he shuru ho jati. Anyways, its late & I better sleep else I'l get late 2moro."

Then he remembered 2moro is a Sunday means no office but then he has some work which needed his attention.He changed into his trademark vest & tracks & laid on his bed. His mind involuntarily drifted to the incident occurred sometime ago. He recalled his whole convo wid Geet & their hug & a small smile adorned his lips & he whispered "sach mein pagal hai". He turned around & soon drifted to sleep.

Meanwhile Raj & Geet too reached home & were in their respective rooms. Geet got her M&B novel & laid on her bed in her trademark style.(I had described it pretty well, remember😉 ?). She started reading it but soon her mind was occupied wid the cliff incident. She smiled remembering it. Everything flashbacked in her mind just like a film roll. She unknowingly blushed☺️ on the fact that how they both had hugged each other though she knew it was out fear only. Then she thought how much she had shouted on him & then the terrorist thing & all. she cudn't stop but smile at her antics. But then thot he was no less. He had so much attitude. In her recalling session she had totally forgotten abt the her reading M&B and soon she went into deep slumber just like always.

Both Geet & Maan had slept thinking of each other not knowing whether they will ever meet again or it was just only moment. They ofcourse don't know wot the next morning will bring for them.

The sun was slowly peeping out from the blanket of nite to give the whole world a new day wid new hopes & new beginnings. It was the dawn time probably the most beautiful moment of the whole day. Sunrise & sunset are two most beautiful things that human kind has been blessed by nature. Evey1 gets up wid new plans & hopes to make their day best.

Maan got up at around 7am. It was late than his usual days but he dint mind it. He had a good sleep last nite after real long time. Since it was sunday he decided to have swimming instead of his usual Tai-chi & workout session. He went to the pool side & started doing laps. Every time he took a stroke Geet's face wud flash up in his mind. After doing 3 laps, he stood still in pool & brushed his hair frustratingly. He thought, "why am I getting images of that mad gal? Wot is it wid her that am not able to get rid off her memories? No1 had ever distracted Maan Singh Khurrana then why this stupid gal is effecting me? NO! This is not happening. Nothing can distract Maan Singh Khurrana, nothing." Wid that he made his mind & brushed off each & every thot of Geet from his mind & finally concentrated over his swim.

He got ready after swimming & made his way for breakfast. It was sunday & whole family was there to have breakfast together. It was kind of a routine. On breakfast table Dadima, Jai, Dhruv(he was a family), Prithvi Singh Rathore( Best frnd of Maan's dad & Bani's father) and Bani were already present. He went & took his seat. He greeted,

Prithvi Singh Rathore

Dadima & Prithivi: Good morning beta!

Bani: Good morning Banna sa!

Maan: Morning Bani, hw u doing?

Bani: Good

Jai: Bani, I don't get y u call bro "Banna sa" it sounds as if u calling some 100yr old person. And he laughed at his owm PJ.

Jai's remarks earned him deathly glares from Bani & Maan as well while Dhruv, Dadi & Prithvi suppressed their smiles. Maan glared Jai which made Jai shiver wid fear.He tried to say something to undo his deed but the damage was done, & to add to his misery words just refused to come out from his mouth.

Dhruv signalled Dadi wid his eyes that Jai is so dead now, he has put his hand in lion's den.

Maan: Bani calls me so coz I like it, but Jai seems like u hv got prob wid that, do u?

Jai: prob mujhe? nahi toh bro mujhe kya prob ho sakti hai aur wiase bhi it sounds so unique & classy, hai naa dadima.🤣

This time both dadi & Prithvi cudn't control & laughed😆 at Jai's plight.Rest of the break-fast was smooth esp. for Jai.Maan was done & he got up to leave just then Dadima said, " Maan beta aap kahin ja rahe hain?"

Maan: Ji Dadima, woh foundation se call aaya tha kuch din pehle, unn logo ko kuch kam hai toh wahin ja raha hoon.

Dadima: okay! Kahiye toh hum bhi chale?

Maan: nahi dadima, aap tension mat lijiye I'l handle all.

Dadima: thik hai beta, aap jaiye. Aur haan hum aur Prithvi thoda kam se bahar ja rahe hain toh sham tak he aayenge aap chinta mat karna.

Maan: Ji

Dhruv: buddy, do u want me to accompany u?

Maan: I don't mind.

Dhruv (smiled😊): ok, lets go then. Sala khud kabhi nahi bolega, thought Dhruv.

Both bid bye to family & made their way out.

Geet was still sleeping or pricesly was still wandering in her dreamland. And, why not its Sunday means no time constraint & she can sleep as much as she want to. But as every good thing has come to an end, her sound sleep too was disturbed by her mom's continuous callings.Irritated she finally opened her eyes & got up only to find her mother standing there wid her arms crossed in front.

Geet: kya hai mumma sone do naa! Its sunday.

Rano: How does it matter to u if its sunday or some other day, u always sleep till late.So now stop ur drama & get up.

Geet: no am not. I want to sleep more.

Rano knowing Geet will not get up so easily so she went near her & sat beside her.Geet instantly put her head in her mom's lap & closed her eyes.Rano caressed her hair & bent down to kiss her forehead. A sweet smile adored Geet's face the moment Rano's lips touched her forehead & she said, "I love you mom". Rano smiled & said, " love you too beta". For sometime both remained the way they were relishing the mother-daughter love.After few mins, Rano spoke, " Geet"

Geet: hmm

Rano: uth ja beta!

Geet: umm nahi. mujhe apki god mein sona hai.

Rano: woh toh tu roz he soti hai naa.

Geet: par phir bhi kam he lagta hai.

Rano smiled & again kissed her & said, "par beta I hv got some work for u"

Geet: kya?

Rano: 1st get up & fresh n up. Papa is waiting for u at break-fast.

Geet: kya? Papa ne abhi tak nashta nahi kiya!

Rano rolled her eyes & said, " tere bina aajtak kisine nashta kiya hai & esp. ur Papa!

Geet cutely nodded a no.Rano continued, "so now get up & come fast, we'r waiting."

Saying so Rano got up from bed & left her room.Geet went to washroom & in good half an hr she was already & went downstairs.

Geet hugged her dad & wished him morning.Mohinder looked around & then asked, "Raj kahan hai?"

Rano said, "pata nahi subah se nahi dikha"

Geet rolled her eyes & said, " aur kahan hoga, apni GF k sath romantic bath le raha hoga!"

Listening to her both Rano & Mohinder's jaws were wide open wid a shock plastered on their faces.They frozed. Geet when dint get any response looked up only to find 2 shocked statues in front of her & then she realised wot she has blurted & bite her tongue. She cleared her throat & said, "woh I mean he must be wid his Sunshine naa.Itne dino baad aaya hai toh apni "CAR" ko pyar se ek bath toh dena banta hai naa."

Listening to her both sighed in relief.Rano came to her side & slightly wacked her & said, "kuch bhi bolti rehti hai.Hamari toh jaan he nikaal di thi."

Geet made a baby face for the slip of tongue which was quite often nothing new.Mohinder just shook his head.Rano sent 1 servant to call Raj & he in no time was at dinning table.The moment he seated beside Geet, she spoke mischievously, " so de diya bath apni GF ko?"

Raj who was drinking his juice just spitted it out the moment her words reached his ears.He shockingly looked at her to which she just smiled.He cudn't formulate words.Sensing his tension Mohinder who was trying hard not to laugh finally broke into laughter & said, " arre beta yeh teri taang kheench rahi hai. She is talking abt ur Sunshine."

Raj just smiled faintly to him trying to hide his embarrassed face behind it & turned to Geet & gave her angry glare which she just shrugged off by rubbing her 1 shoulder wid her other hand. Raj mumbled, "tujhe toh main dekh lunga Geet ki bachchi, chhodunga nahi!"

There was some silence which Rano broke by saying, " Geet, Raj u 2 hv to go & hand dis cheque to Mr. Batra today itself."

Geet & Raj looked at each other surprised & then said in unison, "no ways mom". Rano smiled to them & said, "I am not asking am telling u."

Geet: But mom why we? Aap bhi toh ja sakte ho na! And u know woh Batra kitna pakata hai.

Rano glared her & said, " I wud hv gone but mujhe tumhare dad k sath Mr. Kukkreja ke yaha lunch par jana hai & btw he has invited all of us."

Geet & Raj: wot ?? lunch & that wid Kukkreja, hell no!

Rano: Then go to Batra, she smiled evilly.😈

Poor Geet & Raj were trapped between 2 most irritating persons to choose. But they found Batra tolerable so agreed to go to him wid condition that they will spend entire sunday on their will which was granted easily.
