i think of all things mohan expected the total dismissal and blatant rejection he probably did not expect especially the you are no longer my friend bit. somehow that was his safety pad.
I don't think he will go away physically. I think (intentionally or unintentionally) he will withdraw emotionally. the fact of the matter is that the connection they share is mutual not onesided as megha thinks
megha only sees him as being her hamdard she does not realize that he sees her as his - she does not realize how he viewed her support in the rashmi thing. well I don't think she does.
his mom has left home and moved in. mohan and his dad do not see eye to eye yet somethings he has said indicate that his dad is not so bad. seems like these two just rub each other off the wrong way.
showing mohan push this determinedly and his far was necessary to kickstart Megha's self-introspection but right now she is in severe denial. pushing will not help. in fact it will have the reverse effect. pulling is what is required.
what will pull her to mohan again considering that she is resolute in seperating herself from him?
seeing him in pain but not the slap that she caused as she sees that as justified. seeing him being ridiculed or humiliated or hurt by others is what sets her reaching out to him instinctively. so what can the pull be? because obviously Mohan is going to retrace some steps right now. even he has some sense of when he can push and when he must pause.
that brings me to Mrs. bhatnagar who has left mr. bhatnagar without boat or paddle. mr. bhatnagar is now solo with no wife no son and a really expensive mansion. betcha wifey is in no mood to answer his calls. so I think a visit to junna mohalla is expected.
mohan has disagreements over the mention of his father's name tho it can be expected that an in person visit will only bring confrontation and resurface old wounds that ail the younger bhatnagar. pull effect in action. I think this will be when megha will try to reach out to soothe him and he will withdraw and then love story aghay badhagi. I think so.
as far as the letter. that could end up with different people and different effects. if mohan was really that bothered he could just ask nanhi to bring it back. what's the use of having a mole in the house if you cannot use them effectively. especially now that her intentions have been spelt out in capital letters
