mummy ne mujhe kabhi lagaane ko kahaa nahi shaadi se pehle aalta lagaane ko to zahir se baat hai ki unhone kyon nahi kaha hoga . jub shaadi ho gayi to uske baad lagaana shuru kiya woh bhi occasionaly .but i really hate makeup

really?..but i can say it with confidence that it is believed as a shagun if an unmarried girl put alta on her feet!..in my area...married and unmarried both can put altas😊...specially in the festival times..its a must...i dont like it a bit...and my mom and aunties have a tough time to put alta on my feet😆...a big festival is coming up..raja sankranti ...and i know again same thing gonna happen with me😆😆...
about the maang teeka...i usually wear that on festivals...but teeka is not having that much significance here...ladies started using it now a day...TV effect😆...
sindoor and mangalsutra directly represent that the girl is married...other than those..everything is okey sokey😆

even in my area maang teeka is also put by small girls
We can also take example from legendary movie lagaan
i was waching the song n the heroine has put maang teeka but it was a bit different in design
doesn't know properly abt it 😕
