YES, only a highly educated man who is really forward in his thinking will be able to love Anandi and marry her. A regular Jagya kind of Guy will not fall for Anandi, instead they get attracted to the outward looks.

About his family? lol we are just getting to know Shiv.. u gotta hold your horses and wait till his family is brought into the picture. Then we can start speculating.😛

@bhach -- I was talking about jagats personal ethics not his professional ones ...but I am stunned when you say you admire Jagya's PROFESSIONAL ethics? 😲
very good 👏👏👏
1. Jagya did not want to treat village patients who were badly in need of a hospital because he felt they were dirty and not ready for superior 'western medicine'. He said that they should continue visiting witch doctors.
2. two days ago Jagya did not want to treat patients who were lying on the floor badly in need of treatment...because he felt disgusted by the disease and dirt surrounding him.
3. he had no professional ethics in terms of turning over his files to other doctors with full patient history before he went to jayetsar to meet badi masi . The dean specifically mentioned that the other doctors had no clue what was going on with his patients and had to re-gather all the information and put it together themselves.
And as far as treating the boy first instead of the goons -- I believe it was Jagya's arrogance that he didnt want to be ordered around by goons - not that he was concerned about the child he was treating.
And even if he wanted to treat the child first, he could have been polite about it -- instead he started lecturing the goons on the rules and regulations of sitting in a line which further instigated the goons. I think sometimes more than ethics a bit of commonsense is required.
If gauri had been there she would have treated the goons or immediately brought in a second doctor from somewhere to treat the goons and handle the work with the least possible disturbance instead of getting into a fight with them. Handling work with the least possible disturbance is also a huge component of professional ethics.

Personally speaking, I dont think jagya would know an ethic if it bit him on the butt. 😡 neither professional nor personal.
Occassionally he does something which looks like it is aligned with an ethic, but that too is an accident -- he did it purely because he found it convenient or did not have alternative options...and then it looks like he is exhibiting ethics 😆

I agree with you tinoo. i was surprised when Jagat was all disgusted with the patients lying on the floor ...
I mean why did he become a doctor? so that he could treat in an AC room?
Doctors treat patients and then work towards a better condition of things.
He has no sympathy nor any kind of professional care.

I am sure if this was Anandi , she would have made sure something be done about that hospital

If it was gauri.. I am not sure. She is as selfish as jagat. She does good work in her work area but not sure about caring for the poor etc.
