My dear....TD is ending in august so its quite impossible to bring her back n everyone know she is not coming back.....even if i say come back disha then she is not coming back....so dear it will be just 12 episodes or so to end this show...so its waste of energy for asking her to come back....maybe flashbacks will be shown...if i offended n hurt ur feelings i m sorry for that......

Tumhari Disha to go off air

This month has seen major unexpected changes in TV serials—be it with the cast or the fate of the show itself. Recently, Twinkle Beauty Parlour saw a mass sacking of the actors. And now it's the turn of Zee's Tumhari Disha to go off air.

"Tumhari Disha will end on August 14. It will complete 450 episodes by then," says Rupali Guha, producer of the show. The news comes as a surprise because the story recently took a a leap of 25 years.

"It was the channel's call. The TRPs of Tumhari Disha were not as great, post-leap. So they decided to wind up the serial. Nevertheless, I am glad that Tumhari Disha will complete 450 episodes, a long time for a serial,"says Guha.

But wasn't the real reason for the dip in TRPs the absence of its earlier protagonist Chavi Mittal? "The TRPs started to fall before Chavi's exit. So her quitting Tumhari Disha has got nothing to do with the serial going off air," says Guha.

The serial will end with the characters DK (played by Ashish Nayyar) and Kaamna (Poonam Joshi) finally bonding with each other.

This news could hit Poonam Joshi the hardest as it was her first lead role. Moreover, after Poonam took up Tumhari Disha, Balaji Telefilms served a legal notice to the actress for failing to give them enough notice about joining another serial. "I am still acting in Kahiin To Hoga. Nothing can be done if the channel decides to wind up the show. I am looking at the positive aspects of life," says Poonam.

😡 Even if TD is ending next month in August we can still wish for Disha to come back and act in any ZEE serial. It would be nice to see her face back on TV. and i've always asked for Disha to come back since the day i heard about the leap. I've been doing this for months!! and your telling me "its to late". Whenever i say something like this in any topic i always see the same replies! which are "no! shes dead. Disha is not coming back anymore she died in DK's arm" and all that crap. I'm not trying to say that SHE WILL COME BACK i'm only trying to say that we shouldn't lose hope because anything can happen and it all depends on hope. Please try to understand! If we lose hope then she won't come back. If we believe in our selves and don't lose hope then i'm sure one day Chavi will come back to ZEE. I'm actually proud shes working in films now! I can't wait to see her movie. Even though TD is still goin on i don't care cuz' there are new people. I hate Kammna!! You don't even know how she is like in real life so whats the point of likeing her so much. She doesn't even do much in TD. She usually jus stands their and then that stupid background music comes on again. Before when you guys heard about the leap then you were all excited because of Kammna 😡 . Now look at everyone! they all are starting to miss Disha and they want her. I don't care about what people say and please don't try to teach me. Some of you may not understand how its like because i'm Disha's #1 FAN!!! Some people even sent me E-mails that said "iluvTD, i'm missing Disha so much and i always cry cuz' i miss her" ect. I always get E-mails like that! Sorry but this is all Kammna's fault and the leaps fault. But how can the directers do such a thing to get the main casting Disha out of the show?! thats insane. IluvTD I understand your feelings but I dont think Zee will cast Chavi again as to what has happened in the past with the problems with Chavi creating with the makers and the channel but I dont know u never know she might come again on Zee but at this moment I think itll be a no also producers these days are casting frsh faces for lead roles just like Chai was a fresh face for TD.

IluvTD - I totally understand how you feel about Disha. She was the entire show, it all revolved around Disha. And she was (and is) an extremely nice and likeable person/character, not to forget beautiful. But we just have to be realistic here. It was her choice to leave the show and I think we, as her fans, should respect her choice and wish her all the best in whatever she does.

I'm not saying i want her back on TD. i want her back to play a role in any ZEE serial. Atleast we get to see her back again. I'm so sorry. please forgive me! 😭
