Ahem is angry on his wife as even after he had apologised to her multiple times, she has not understood him & was continuing to be silent !!! He is confused on what he could do to tell her that he did not mean a word of what he told her in anger. Ahem has known his wife to forgive everyone easily & he himself had experienced it many a times, during the swtizerland trip because of him, she was lost yet she did not hold it against him, many a times he had scolded her in front of his family yet she never held it against him & continued to serve him, today he is questioning himself why is she not giving him an opportunity & forgiving him !!!
As he saw his wife walked down the stairs Ahem's thoughts were filled with her thoughts on how she could do this to him !!! He is aware of her every moment, he is aware of her being close to him yet he is aware of the distance between them & he is feeling guilty that he was the reason due to which this distance was created.
As the guest complimented Gopi, Ahem was aware of each & every word they said about Gopi & he did not need anyone else to make him realise it because he knew it from his heart that his wife as beautiful as she was from outside, she was even more a beautiful person from her heart , her behaviour towards everyone was always the best let it be guests, her family or his family yet today he is trying to understand her by questioning himself on how he could tug her heart to get her back to him, his life & his heart !!!
As Anitha reminded him about his marriage & how he got married because of his mother even when he loved her, it hurt Ahem's heart not because he regrets marrying Gopi or leaving Anitha, but he regrets because of him she , his wife had to go thru immense hurt & pain. Ahem has not forgotten how their relationship had started, how he had abused her, how he humiliated her, how he hated her but all thru he knew his wife yet stood by him, did not give up on him or his marriage & today with the love he feels for her in his heart, he feels terrible guilty !!!
When Ahem said , my case is different & Im lucky that I have Gopi in mylife, he knew it from his heart though he was forced into this marriage, he had an opportunity to stand up for his love, yet he did not & because of which he had undergone pain. And with this pain in his heart, he got married to an innocent girl who walked into this marriage with full of hopes & dreams for the furture which he knows he had shattered. But today even after all that he feels blessed, lucky that he has got such a wonderful life partner forever. Every moment he thanks her kanaji for bringing her into his life & making him realise how lucky he had been for such a loving & understanding wife, his Gopi. He is even scared to think what his life would have been without her & what would he have done if she had given up on him & their marriage because of him & thats the reason he never thinks about the past which because in the past he sees himself all alone hurting the most important person, his life, his soul, his love, his Gopi !!!
Gopi is also feeling hurt & pain because she with her silence was hurting her love, her Ahemji. She had asked her sister to take away the promise so that she could be with him & talk with him & relieve him. She has long forgiven him but because of this promise she is unable to reach out to him as he has been asking her, begging her for her forgiveness. The silence as much as it is hurting her Ahemji, she is feeling his pain & also her pain together. As their hands touched when her Ahemji's cell rang, Gopi looked at him. She saw the pain in his face as he removed his hand & she at the very point wanted to put him & her out of this misery !!!
As Ahem realised Anitha was getting married only because of his family, he could not let his good friend take that step. He did not want his friend to spoil her life & this was the only reason he had not agreed for her marriage. He knew what Gopi because of him & he because of his pain had undergone at the start of their marriage because one of the partner was not ready to marry the other. Though he feels he is lucky, he knew it was by exception, by chance that he had such a loving partner & not everyone might be as blessed he has been !!!
Gopi was happy that Anitha's marriage was getting fixed & that she would not have to live life alone. But as she heard her Ahemji oppose the marriage, it confused her. As he did not answer the questions his family was asking, the doubts in her heart kept rising & as he said that no one should be forced to be married, it broke her heart with the realisation that her Ahemji was talking about their marriage. After hearing the conversation of him & Anitha, she knew that he spoke his heart out, but as she thought about it, about what her Rashiben told her & when she saw his apology, she destroyed all the negative thoughts as she assumed he must have said them in anger, but today hearing the same answer from him again, she is pushed back to those thoughts that her husband is in this marriage because of responsibility & not love, for his love is always Anitha !!!
Will Ahem realise the love, the pain behind his wife's silence, will he be able to reach out to her & put his heart before her to tell her what she is concluding is completely wrong & that he loves her & cannot live without her !!! During the pooja day, Ahem explained it to his wife his feelings & his thoughts about Anitha, but today with her silence, will he still make the attempt or will he not even realise about it !!!
