Jyo, meri jaan! 🤗 Thank you so much for the compliment! I genuinely wanted to write a DotD post for every episode, which is why I number them still. What to do though, time is so hard to come by! I just end up writing out my reactions nowadays and since those are too long anyway, I figured I might as well make those separate posts since I get hung up on details a lot.
My heart really went out to Aarti when she got Prashant's flashbacks and felt that mayb she lacks something as a wife or a woman and thats why she is not able to sustain any of the relationships 😭😭...What I loved here was inspite of getting those divorce papers and seeing Yash's signature on it , she still dint believe that Yash ji can do this 👏👏...She kept saying about how Prashant forced her into divorce but Yash ji is different which goes on to show her trust and faith in Yash ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...
That "kami" insecurity that is prevalent in society (that's not just restricted to Indian society, I think) about blaming women for things like that is a recurring theme, isn't it? That was sad when it came up in episode 1 - I thought Aarti's immobile stance during that scene was wonderfully portrayed! - and it still hurts seeing Aarti return to those thoughts because Yash ji has rejected her...But you brought up an excellent observation! She DID say that Prashant divorced her ("zabardasti") but there was no trace of that sort of connotation when she was talking about Yash. Ohh, I love Aarti. Endless hearts to her!!!
Also that kangan incident , she never really gave the kangan to bua , it was snatched out of her hand 😭😭 but again she knew that this cannot b Yash ji's idea 👏👏...This is the kind of trust Aarti has developed on Yash post the kidnapping fiasco 😳
The kangan scene made me feel so bad for Aarti but I was so proud of her as well! She didn't shed a tear as far as I could see, but I need to watch that again to make sure. Our Aarti is a fighter!
That trust is flickering in the face of this stormy weather, but it hasn't been extinguished completely! 😃 If Aarti had given up on this marriage, she wouldn't have been wearing her mangalsutra or that sindoor still; that's indication enough of how determined she is to hang on to this relationship.
Now I m waiting for the day when Yash too will develop same type of trust on Aarti ...Right now even though his heart refuses to believe that Aarti can break this relationship but his mind is poisoned to such an extent that he is forced to believe it ;I m waiting for the day when truth will come out and both his mind and heart will develop that strong trust for Aarti 😳
I wonder how long it will take, especially since Aarti's divorcee status is tucked away and hidden from everyone's sight. Maybe that will be Yash's agnipariksha.
This separation did one good thing ...forced both Yash and Aarti to realise that they want to b together not just for their kids but also to find a proper companion and life partner in each other the reason why both Yash and Aarti questions the same thing about why cant they sustain any relationship which is clear indication that they want this marriage to work for each other as well since they so want to give a second chance in their life 😳😳
Maybe Yash is still using the girls as a reason to justify Aarti's presence in his life, but things have definitely changed for Aarti! She wants to be a mother AND a wife AND a daughter-in-law now even after everything that has happened. She wants to make up for whatever she couldn't do before and she definitely doesn't want to accept defeat and give up on this marriage, not when Ansh's happiness is also at stake. That's commitment!

But we know that he acts without thinking at times...and so does Bua. Like I wrote in my take, a lonely, vengeful person like bua, living with a family that is her own and yet not, will do her homework well and cover her tracks well if she is set to achieve a destruction...she manipulates everyone in that family because she has studied each character well. She knew how to and when to strike where Yash was concerned. She chose just the right words that would work him up enough to sign...so that he feels cornered to prove to everyone that Arpita is irreplaceable, but more to himself that Aarti can be given up but not Arpita. But see his behavior after that...he is trying to keep himself busy: by working, spending time with the kids and family, and going out...he is trying to behave normal yet is feeling restless at home and he is certainly not happy...a fact Gayatri and Prateek spoke of.

As such, how can he expect things to be as before...it's just a wistful notion about which he is not allowing himself to delve into much. He was not trying to pacify Prateek but hoping against hope his heart accepts that. He wants answers...why? He can sign the marriage off, but he can't write a person off his life by a stroke of a pen...especially someone with whom he was closely associated for a few days and who left a deep mark on him. He is in denial at the moment...that's why the flippant remark.
