karishma because she is more versatile she tasted success in commercial movies her performance oriented roles were critically acclaimed .She can do comedy i just loved her and govinda's chemistry david dhavan movies

karishma al the way! altho both shud not be compared as karishma is a senior actress than kareena, kareena looks up2 karishma as a role model/idol so hw can she b compared 2 her idol?

Both are more-or-less on the same level, though Kareena, having the opportunity to work with better directors of this decade, has got better roles and movies to her credit than Karishma. But honestly, their acting style is so similar...both started out as not-so-good..then bang - they not only improve, but improve so much that people go "wow" watching them. When they are good, they are just phenomenally good (Dev, Omkara, Fiza, Zubeidaa), and when bad, then just disastrously bad (MPKDH, some of Karishma's movies with Govinda, don't even remember their names).

I prefer Kareena though.

Neither. For me as an audience the impression of their poor performances have overpower the memories of their decent ones. One thing I would like to say is that Karishma and Kareena seem to belong to totally different eras. Films are much much better now content-wise(leave out the 100cr ATBB) and technology wise than the time Karishma was there. The way the film industry viewed women has also changed to some extent. Kareena has got much better opputunities than Karishma ever got. But actresses like Karishma started bringing in that change we see today. Things might have not changed if actresses like her hadnt taken the first baby steps.

Karishma anyway...I simply love her...she is one of the few actresses who is good looking, can dance brilliantly and not to forget act any kind of scene convincingly!! Karishma will always remain my most fav BW actress.

according to me both sisters are better than others if you compare between both of them then karishma comes out better than Karina because Karishma entered at first industry than Kareena did..
