Actress Aleeza aka Nanda of Mamta made news when she decided to quit the show on being asked to play an unwed mother. "Girls from good families don't play such roles," she had said at that time.
It comes as a surprise then that Aleeza is back in the show, and that too, to play the same role. So, what made her eat her words? "I am only pretending to be an unwed mother in the show this time," she says defending herself.
"Nanda comes back to take revenge on Karan (who is now married to someone else). Hence, she pretends that his child (born out of his legal marriage) is actually their child born out of wedlock. I had a problem with the character and not with the production house. So when they called me, I accepted it," she says.
