This one has been adopted into movies several times by Hollywood and Bollywood alike. One must remember the last version that starred Aishwaria Rai in the lead role, which was a co-production between Hollywood and Bollywood.

This is the story of a girl, her thoughts, her love and her world.

Now the news is that our desi producers are also interested in this mega novel. Rumors are doing the round that a famous writer is currently busy penning down the script. The novel has to be dramatized and molded as per our society. The sources confirmed that Amina Sheikh is going to play the main lead, Elizabeth. Of course, she'd have a different name in the serial.
