Geet opens her eyes slowly, her head was throbbing with pain...she covers her eyes when direct sunlight hits her face..she slowly opens them to adjust to the new light...when her eyes came to focus she saw that she was in a big room her legs were tied to the rope at the end of the bed post..she looks around scared...she tried to recollect what happened..all the images of Dev flashed in her mind...she looks around for something to help her with the rope...
"HELP!" She yells but no one came..."MAANN... HELP!" She yells and yells but no one heard her voice..after five minutes when she had no energy she collapsed on the bed...she heard the door slowly open up...she saw Dev coming in carrying a glass of water...she moves back as much as she could to gain some space between them. He sits near her, putting the glass of water on the table, he brings his hand to touch her face...
Geet: DON'T TOUCH ME! I hate you!
Dev: Pretty soon you will learn to love me! Anyway I have brought you some water to drink...all that yelling must have dried your throat out
Geet: I would rather die than to take anything from you...
Dev (holds her face tightly with anger) NOW listen to what I have to say..you are ONLY mine and after tomorrow night it is going to be offical
Geet: What do you mean?
Dev (laughs) its our wedding tomorrow night...(he takes out some papers) here sign them by tonight
Geet: what is it?
Dev: Your and Maan's divorce papers...I will deliver this news to him that you are no longer his
Geet (spits on his face) you are disgusting...
Dev (slaps her on the face again) don't do that again or else I won't be hesitate to make you mine right now...(she tried to move away from him but couldn't...) one more night darling..after that we are going to be together forever...(he winks and leaves the room...Geet breaks down crying calling out for Maan...)

Maan paced back and fourth with worry as police tried to trace Dev but nothing came up...it has been three hours since her kidnap and no clue came fourth about where he could possibly taken Geet...he couldn't believe that his own brother was behind all this...the one that he watched up grow, the same brother that he helped with anything that he needed, always stood besides him if he got into trouble and now that same brother betrayed him. But still he couldn't understand why? Out of love? What has he done to Dev to receive such hatred from him? He didn't care about Dev anymore all he cared about was Geet...his Geet...he couldn't rest until he sees her...
Madhuri sat in the living room with her head down..she was feeling guilty for blaming Geet having the bad shadow on the family when it was her son all along...Dadima tried to console her but it was of no use...Madhuri hugs Dadima while crying...
Madhuri: I can't believe my own son did all this..he tried to kill you and Maan and now he has Geet...why? What went wrong with his upbringing?
Dadima; Nothing beta it was just circumstances...
Madhuri: And Geet..she did nothing but tried to help out the family and now she is in danger...she did whatever I told her without a single complain...god will never forgive me for this...
Dadima: God forgives those that realizes their mistake..I am just glad that you know the truth...we will find Geet and Dev...maybe there is still a chance that he will reform
Ronit: No! I don't care..I had promised Geet that I will put whoever is doing this behind the bars and that is exactly what I am going to do with Dev. Forget that we have a son named Dev...he is dead for us now
Dadima: What are you saying Ronit?
Ronit: I am right...it would be one thing if he had played with our feelings BUT he committed so many crimes not once but three times..kidnapping, attempt to murder, manipulation..and he will be punished for those crimes no matter what! (he looks at the inspector) anything yet?
"No sir..we are trying our best"
Ronit: that is what you have been saying for the last three hours
"if we could get a trace of something that it won't be hard to capture him...his cell phone is turned off so we can't track his gps location..."
Ronit: Do whatever
Maan: dad I can't sit at home anymore..I am going to go out and find Geet...I will find her wherever she is
Ronit: But
Maan: no this is something I have to do..I have my phone on so call me when you guys find something...(he leaves the house...)

Geet struggles to untie her legs..she could reach the her foot but not the bed post where the knot was tied...her arms and hands were tired but she didn't give up..she had to get out of here as soon as possible..she sees the lamp on the bedside table..quickly looking at the door and paying attention for any noise...slowly she takes the lap shade out looking at the light bulb..she takes the light bulb wrapping it in the blanket before breaking it...she uses the broken piece to cut through the rope...as she was cutting..her eyes were on the door for Dev...she frowns when the glass breaks midway...having no other option she breaks the lamp on the floor quickly hiding the piece under her pillow.
Dev comes running in after hearing all the noises...
Geet: I accidentely broke the lamp...sorry
Dev: hmm did you sign the papers?
Geet: woh uhh
Dev: I need to have them signed by tonight...got it? (he comes closer to her) ohh and don't try to get any funny ideas or else I will have Maan killed by my men...(she nodes her head...)
Geet: woh uhh I am hungry...(trying to buy herself some extra time...)
Dev: I will bring you food...I don't want you to starve before your big day tomorrow...
He slightly kisses her forehead...Geet felt so disgusted but she couldn't do anything to make him mad or else she would not have any chance to escape..he gives her one more look before going out...Geet quickly pulls out the broken piece to cut her rope..she was happy that her one leg was free...she was able to go to the end of the bed post to untie the rope...as soon as her legs were free..she looked around for a phone or something that she could use to call for help..having nothing found..she had no other option but to run out of the house...she goes to the window..it was big enough for her to climb out of..she breaks the window running out of the house..
She recognized this to be their farm house...she knew the way a little but it has been a long time since she came here..she runs toward the road to call for help...she hides behind a tree when she saw Dev at the nearby dhaba for food..As soon as he left, she asks the dhaba guy for phone...
Geet: Please can I use your phone
"I need money first..."
Geet (didn't have any money..she looks at the gold bangles on her wrists...she takes them out giving it to the guy) they are real and worth a lot more...(the guy happily takes the bangles)

Maan drives out on the road..he didn't know where he was going or where he should begin looking all he knew was that he couldn't sit idle at home...he had to help Geet, he had to find her and protect her...he looks at his phone when it starts ringing with unknown number..usually he cuts the numbers but he had a feeling that it would be about Geet...he quickly picks it up...
"Hello Maan...its me Geet..."
Maan (stops the car on the road) Geet where are you? Where has he taken you?
"woh..." (the line went dead...)
Maan: Hello...Geet...Geet...(he yells at the phone..he tried calling the number again but it came as unavailable...Maan immediately calls home..) Hello dad Geet just called me..I will message you the number..ask them to find out who it belongs to now and call me back...

Geet looks at Dev shocked...he breaks the phone into pieces..he throws some money toward the dhaba guy to make him quiet...
Dev: I knew you were up to something when you asked for food...I just wanted to see what...who did you call? Maan?
Geet: Yes and he will be here any minute and after that you won't be alive...
Dev: If he finds you...we are going to another location and this time I will make sure you don't escape..
Geet sees a stick that dhaba guy uses to stir...she picks it up hitting him hard on the head...she runs toward the jungle..she could hear Dev yelling behind her but she didn't care...she rather die than let Dev touch her...she runs and runs deep inside the jungle until her legs gave out on her..she falls on the floor trying to catch her breath...she looks in all the directions for some way to escape but found any...she gets up scared when she heard some rustling noises...she quickly gets up running away from the noise..."Maan where are you..."

Maan waits patiently in his car for the phone to ring...he wanted to hear Geet's voice again...he wanted to see her again..he was glad that she is still alive and unharmed..."I will find you Geet..I will be coming to you..." He picks up his phone as soon as he saw it was from home...
Maan: Hello...did you find it...
"Yeah it was from this location..."
Maan: hmm okay I will go there right now..you guys come as soon as you guys can...bye...("that place sounds familiar..." he starts driving...)

Geet hides behind some bushes to catch her breath..she heard Dev calling her name...she puts her hand on top of her mouth to block out any noise...
"Ohh Geet where are you?" (she peaks her head out a little...he was standing very close to where she was hiding...) "come out wherever you are or else..."
She saw him taking out a gun but puts it back in) "I can't even shot you if I wanted to...GEEETTT" (he yells...she jumps up a little but still remained hidden...after few minutes she heard him moving forward still yelling her name..she remained in the hiding spot for couple of minutes before moving out again...her hands and legs were shaking as she moved but one thing kept running in her head to give her courage...Maan...she rips a piece of her dupatta hanging it on the tree branches in case if anyone is looking for her they would know where to go...she would do anything to see him again even if it is for the last time...she looked back for any sign of Dev before running to unknown destination...
Maan came to the place where the call was made...it was a dhaba..."this is near our farmhouse...did Dev take her there?" He gets out of the car..he goes up to the dhaba person and shows him the picture of Geet...
"Have you seen her here?"
"yes I have..she borrowed my cell phone to make a phone call..."
Maan (gets happy) "where is she now? "
"She ran toward the jungle area..."
Maan: Was this guy with her? (he shows the picture of Dev...)
"Yeah he is the one that broke my cell phone and ran after her..."
Maan (gives him the money...he quickly makes a call home) "Hello dad Geet is in the jungle near our farmhouse..she still might be inside...am going to go inside and find her..you call for backup here..." (he hangs up the phone...) "Geet I am coming..." (he runs toward the jungle..the jungle was thick with nothing visible ahead but more trees and bushes...) "how will I find her like this? Where do I start?" (he looks down at the mud..there were some footprints on the ground...he bends down to see it more clearly...the foot print looked like it belonged to a women...) "Geet..." (He knew there would be no one else in the jungle right now...taking a hunch he decided to follow the prints...he stops in an round area where there were two ways either left or right...he didn't know which way he should follow..the footsteps had disappeared as the mud was beginning to dry...) "Show me a way please..." (he turns around and saw a piece of cloth tied on the tree branch...he holds it in his hand and immediately recognizes it to be Geet's...he follows the same way...)
Geet leaned against the tree catching her breath...she was glad that Dev was no where in sight..."Babaji how do I get out of this jungle?' She falls on the ground hugging her knees while crying..."I have no energy anymore..please help me...Maan where are you? I need you Maan..."
"Geet..."
She looks up when she heard her name...she saw Dev walking around again holding a gun...he looked tired like her...something was off about him as if he had no control of his anger or body which scared Geet...when he had his back turned toward she decided to make a run for it..the tree wasn't big enough to keep her hidden...Dev turns around to see Geet running away from her...
"Geet stop right now..." (she stops midway..he points a gun toward her leg...) "or else I will shoot you..." (she walks backwards..she stumbles upon a rock...she quickly picks it up throwing it toward Dev hitting him on his head...Dev shoots the gun out of repulse...missing Geet by an inch...she runs ahead as fast as she could..)
Maan who was running following the clues left by Geet stopped when he heard a gun...he follows the direction fearing for Geet...he saw Dev on the ground holding his bleeding head...Dev sees him and points the gun at him..."Dev stop...I am not mad at you..just tell me where Geet is..."
Dev: Don't take her name...she is only mine...you will never catch her..she belongs to me
Maan: I am your brother..what have I done to you?
Dev: You took everything away from me! Everything! You were always the golden child no matter what you do mom and dad always loved you more...
Maan: Please Dev stop..I will talk to mom and dad
Dev: I don't need your pity...anyways its good that you came...now it will be easier for me to kill you and then I will disappear with Geet forever..no one will be able to come between us then
Maan: You don't want to do this Dev...please..think about this with a cool mind...
Dev: I have thought about it...good bye brother...(he aims at Maan's heart and fires..both looks at each other..everything froze for a split second...Dev falls on the ground backwards...Maan sees police standing behind him with a gun..Maan goes to Dev with tears...)
Maan: Dev...look at me
Dev (smiles) good bye...(he closes his eyes...)
"Sir we are still trying to locate Geet..."
Maan: You guys take care of Dev I will go after her...
Geet kept running and running...she stops when she heard cars zooming bye..."there has to be a road nearby..." she runs toward the direction of the noises...she gets out of the jungle happy..."she started running fast when she heard her name being called again...fearing to be Dev again..she kept running...
Maan: GEEETTT stop...(Maan saw that she was no where to close to stop...she kept running..he runs after her as fast as he could...) "its me Maan..." (she stops and turns around..she looks at him with tears and runs after him...)
Geet: Maaannn (Both hug each other as the distance became smaller between them...he kisses her on the forehead...)
Maan: are you okay? Are you hurt?
Geet (puts her hand on his mouth) how can I be hurt when you are with me? I am fine...don't leave me anymore
Maan: I won't...lets go home...
Geet (sees a temple and stops...) Maan I want to get married again right now...I want you to make me yours again in front of god with just the two of us...(he nodes his head..both go looking at each other with a smile holding hands...Maan puts sindoor on her head...)
Maan: I promise to always be there on your side no matter what..I will be there to protect, guide and share your sorrows
Geet: I promise to be a loving wife, always support you in your decisions and be with you no matter what...I don't need anyone as long as you are on my side...I love you Maan
Maan: I love you too Geet...(both hug each other...) lets go home now...start anew...
Geet; I would like that!
So this was the journey of Maan and Geet...he became a son, a brother, a friend and a husband...Geet's love changed him forever and helped him become what he was destined to be...Geet's Maan...
