Hiii guuuyyysss,
Sorry my hands are still shaking after watching the most amazing spectacle in the history of television unfold on screen, those of you who haven't seen today's epi till now, leave everything you are doing and go watch the show, it's the best 30 Minutes of your life, I guarantee you that.
I mean I was hyper-ventilating during the entire show, my heart was pounding like a piston, my breathing was erratic, I was totally blown away after watching the most marvellous performances ever shown on television, not just in India but probably the entire world, Kudos to Mouni for giving such a stupendous performance, even Kumar Hegde (Nandi) was also par excellence today, maybe his best perfomance till date, and not to forget the great Surender Pal Ji, his expression, dialogue delivery, the entire persona of Daksh that he emulated on screen today is worthy of every award out there. Not just them the entire star cast of the show gave amazing performances today.
And as they say the best is saved for the last, our Mohit was breathtaking today, he only had one scene to show his acting and boy did he showed it. His expression in just that one scene perhaps surpassed the entire episode full of great performances
At last the makers of the show, Shashtang Pranaam to them for creating such a spectacular show, everything from dialogues to direction to script to acting to sets to costumes is the best I've ever seen on TV till date and not to forget the amazing music and background score, worth every dollar in the world.
The scenes that for me were most outstanding today were, firstly the Kailash Scene where Nandi is hitting his head on Mahadev's foot to get him to wake up from his samadhi, Seetiyan and taaliyan for Hegde ji for such amazing performance, then the scene where Sati takes the Adi-Shakti roop, the expressions on everyone present in that scene is worth a million dollar each, esp. Daksh amazing work by Surendra ji, in fact his performance in the entire episode was beyond praise, I think we all should now call him "Guru Dronacharya of Acting" and what can I say about Mouni that has not been said before in this forum, all her performances in all the epis of DKDM are incomparable to her performance today, she deserves every Best Actor (Female) trophy in every award show the world over. And as far as our Mohit is concerned well I don't think mere words can suffice to praise this excellent actor, giving such a deadly and impactful performance in only one scene in such a way that it surpasses the entire episode is something only a highly talented and gifted actor can do, and I will not be wrong in saying that our Mohit is second-in-line only to none other than the Great Shri AMITABH BACHCHAN Ji, the only actor in the history of mankind who has such acting talent and prowess.
Today's epi has forced me to confess something before you people... before Dec 2011, I was a hardcore couch-potato, I used to watch many shows, indian and western, well mostly western... but after DKDM started, I have stopped watching other shows, now I only watch DKDM on tv, other shows are totally Feeka in front of it, I have no curiosity left in watching other TV Shows in front of DKDM... Oye Ekdum Paani kum Chai hain jee...even the western shows fail to impress me now, the intensity, the passion, the effect this show has on my mind, I've never felt it before for any TV show. I eagerly wait for the episode the entire day, its the only thought that remains in my mind throughtout the week, anticipating the next episode, my life has totally changed after DKDM, actually the entire Indian Television has changed after DKDM.
I don't know if you guys know this that the Indian Cinema is divided into two time periods, 'The Pre-Sholay Era' and 'The Post-Sholay Era' and just like that I think now the Indian Television should also be officially divided into two time periods, 'The Pre-DKDM Era' and 'The Post-DKDM Era'. What Say???
One more thing I want to point out before signing off, I was going through the forum today and I came across some posts that claim that Karan Johar has finalized Hritik Roshan and Vidya Balan for the role of Mahadev and Sati in Meluha adaptation. I think he is doing grave injustice to the Books, to the Legend of Shiva and most importantly to the audiences. Hritik, no matter how fine an actor he is, he will firstly look like Hritik on-screen rather than looking like Shiva and Vidya, well she looks more like his aunty than his beloved, please don't crap out such a fine book as Meluha, K.Jo.
I personally feel our very own and beloved Mahadev and Sati err. I mean Mohit and Mouni should play Mahadev and Sati on-screen. I think all of us DKDM Forum members should start an Online Signature Campaign "MOHIT-MOUNI FOR MELUHA", what say guys???
Thanks
MAX
