And probably this is the post impactful scene compare I have seen in any serial...Looking to the background of both scene, the reasons and the consequence!!

Epi 78: Kesar gambled, because he wanted to buy bangles for Gulaal and all...basically it was Talli who caught the sight of bangles and then Kesar had to shell out money on her behalf...he did not have enough ..so he gambled...
Epi 155 : Kesar wanted Gulaal, Talli wanted Kessar...and apparently Gulaal wanted to get them marriied...So again Kesar gambled...he gambled his fate, his future...just to get even with the woman he wanted for himself...Apparently Talli wanted his love but Kesar did not have enough (and we thank God and Kunnu and his parents for that) love for both!! and seen in perspective..Gulaal too had gambled...Kesar's fate, and thereby hers...and so she ends up hurt...hurting him...

And you see the scene..they both are punishing the other..but are crying themselves...Gulaal is crying (she almost attacked the poor guy like a mad woman didnt she?? No wonder Kesar did not flinch during that Slapathon..he is so used to this !!! ) while she is hitting Kesar and Kesar...oh NB was super in that ...'Shaadi Mubarak' (reminds me of band baja baarat..) the way he says it...with one tear droppiing from his eyes!!

Though the preleap scene had a happy ending..with one of hte best scenes..Gulaal feeding Kesar in the cowshed...it eventually did come to Kesar leaving Gulaal..and in here ..the post leap scene also...Gulaal does leave Kesar...but then that also resulted in happy endings...
You know this actually reminded me of Laila Majnu...I had heard that when teachers used to punish Kais (Majnu) in school with the stick, Laila used to get the marks on her hand...I used to find it so stupid..but when it comes to these two...I would say...it is so right!! Just like they are for each other!!

Ramya...🤗Somehow it is these dimensions which held me and actuallly bound me to the story..the later developments what with Talli Terror and complete rundown on PB character and some mega weak moments...although better than any soap in this criteria, but still Gulaal's powerful story was weakened because the CV running against time...

The major scenes preleap were a founding stones for the story post leap...how could a boy ...fall in love, stay in love and rise in love for a woman, with a woman, of a woman...was somehow dealt with so specially in this whole set of 212 episodes that we forgive CVs for some mega heart breaks!!!

Srush fab write up yaar and amazing comparison👏.. and Gulaal's costume.. somehow gets a feeling like the CVs intentionally have chosen the costume sets.. to get the ambiance of the post leap for the scene too.. and here I somewhere feels a role reversal, a sense of being betrayed by the most trusted person... in the preleap it was Kesar and in the post leap it is Gulaal ..
