Time was running out of their hands and Abhay was desperate to find Maya as soon as possible. But he had no clue as to where he can find her. In his desperation he called up his Dad to discuss the situation with him. He informed Chand that how Maithili had beaten them in finding the white witch and that how she had kidnapped her. He also informed that the white witch was none other than their college friend Maya. He was confused about why Maithili had kidnapped Maya and what could be her motive behind it. But what Chand told him shocked him to such an extent that he was frozen then and there like a statue. Pia woke up and saw Abhay standing in absolute shock holding the phone in his hands. She got confused and tried to shake out of his shock, but Abhay remained unshaken. She hesitantly took the phone in her hands and said "Hello."

Chand spoke on the other hand, "Pia, What happened, Where is Abhay?"

Pia: He is standing here but is frozen in shock. What happened Dad?

Chand: I told him the most probable Maithili's motive in kidnapping Maya. And that must have left him in shock.

Pia: But what is it Dad?

Chand: Abhay will tell you himself Pia. But please listen and try to understand that we have very little time to find Maya. Maithili's powers make her untraceable, but we can trace out Maya. The vampire council does have someone talented enough to trace out a white witch if he has smelled her aura once. But to trace her out, he would first need to visit the place from where she disappeared. And that would mean exposing your truth to the superiors. Think about it Pia. The odds are highly against us. And right now, our priority is survival. We can not think of comfort and luxuries right now. Superiors need your baby to defeat Maithili, and so they will do everything possible to bring it safely to the world even if it means helping out a human too. Because if I am correct about Maithili's intentions, then we only have 10 days left to find out Maya. Because if we are unable to find her before the next full moon night, then everything will be finished and Maithili will become invincible and even your child will not be able to defeat her. So think about what you want, your child alive and a powerful fighter or your child dead because you refused to give him training to defend himself in the name of giving a normal life to him.

Pia: But Dad...

Chand: I need to disconnect Pia. The council members are calling us for a meeting. Talk to Abhay and take a decision soon.

Chand disconnected the call and Pia shifter her attention back to Abhay who was still frozen in shock. She shook him vigorously and shouted to bring him out of his shock, "Abhay, Abhay! What's wrong?? Tell me, what did Dad say?? What is Maithili planning? Tell me Abhay! Why did Dad say that our baby's life is in danger? Speak up Abhay! Your silence is killing me!"

Abhay finally got out of his reverie and embraced Pia tightly scaring her further. Abhay was hugging Pia so tightly as if she would disappear the moment he lightens his hold. And Pia was scared with this sudden onslaught of emotions from Abhay. She did not know how to respond to such an emotional and scared Abhay. She had mastered how to tackle the rude and arrogant Abhay but fear was one word she had never even dreamt of ever associating with Abhay. But here he was hugging her with fear clearly written in his eyes. Fear of losing her, fear of losing everything. Whenever she had been any pain, emotional or physical, Abhay has always been there for him, standing besides her as her biggest support, wiping away her tears and giving her hope and courage. But right now, he himself was feeling without any hope. He needed someone to take away his pain and give him hope and courage just like he had always done. As this realization dawned on her, Pia quickly wiped away her anger and embraced Abhay with open arms and caressed his hair from back consoling him and re-assuring him. She tried to soothe him and said: Abhay, nothing will happen to me or our baby. We will find Maya soon Abhay, no matter whose help we have to take. But, nothing is more important to me than being with you and our baby. I promise Abhay I won't let anything happen to myself or our baby. We will always be together be it sad times, tough times or happy times, but we will be together and face all the dangers together Abhay.

Abhay felt a new hope in him and he loosened his embrace a bit. He held her face in his hands and pressed his forehead with hers and said: Thanks Pia, for coming into my life. You are the sunshine in my life and I will not let anything happen to you, but for that we do need superiors help Pia.

Pia: Fine Abhay, let it be. Dad told me about it. But what exactly is Maithili's motive which had even Dad and you so scared. What is she planning to do?

Abhay told Pia everything and she was shocked beyond shock. She grabbed Abhay for support as she was shaking in fear and exclaimed: But she is too dangerous Abhay, what of we are too late. Then she will surely kill all of us. We can't take that risk. We need to go into hiding Abhay.

Abhay: What purpose will that serve Pia? Maithili will become invincible. Even our baby will not be able to kill her. And she will find us no matter where we hide and finish us off. We really don't have any option left Pia. It's how things are in our world. It's a battle of survival where either you hunt down your enemies and finish them or they will hunt you out or finish you. That's how our world works Pia and that's why I never wanted to drag you into this world. I wish we could go back in time and I alter everything so that I would have never come into your life, but I can't even do that.

Pia(angrily): Stop it Abhay! Why do you keep saying this? Am I a burden on you that you keep saying that you wish you had never met me?? Tell me Abhay am I so unwanted? Then why try to pretend to save me? Let me go and let Maithili find me. And once she finishes me off, her curse will make her weak enough for you to finish her off! Or wait a minute, you don't want to finish her off! Of course, once I am out of your life, you are free to go to her. You never wanted me, did you? I was a fool to force myself on you! Fine, I will leave right away. And you can go back to your Maithili.

Saying this Pia started to move Abhay but Abhay held her hand and pulled her towards himself and spoke in anguish: What are you saying Pia? How can you say this? How can you doubt my love even after everything?

Pia: What else do I do Abhay? I was scared at the prospect of you coming face to face with this mad and evil Maithili as I was scared of losing you, and instead of explaining things to me, you always just say that you wish we had never met. It makes me feel so unwanted Abhay and a failure. It makes me feel that I have failed to give you any happiness and that's why you regret being with me.

Abhay: Shhh... meri pagali Pia! You are the only happiness in my life love. I had long forgotten what happiness was until you came into my life and brought happiness in my life. I had always wanted you Pia, right from the time I first met you, but it's true that I never wanted to expose you to the dangers of my world and so I sometimes curse myself for being so selfish that I dragged you into this world just so that I could have my happiness.

It was now Pia's turn to place her hand on Abhay's mouth to make him quiet. She said: No Abhay. You are all I ever wanted. And I am prepared to even go to hell if it meant being with you. Don't ever feel this way Abhay. Because I am with you for my own free will. You never forced me for anything. So now stop all this melodrama and tell me how exactly you planned to trace down Maya within 10 days so that you can stop Maithili from achieving what she wants.

Abhay: We need to inform superiors about it Pia. Because only they have the powers to trace a white witch.

Pia: But will they then take our baby away?

Abhay: They don't need to Pia. Mom and Dad are already with them and they said that the council are being nice to them. So, we can propose that we would like to be around our child when they begin their training. I don't think they will object to that.

Pia: Are you sure we will be able to find Maya on time?

Abhay: We have to Pia. There really isn't any choice!

Pia: Ok Abhay, then call them. I just hope that they do not react strongly to our hiding about our baby from them.

Abhay: Don't worry Pia. I will ask mom dad to explain things to them.

And Abhay informed Chand about their decision. Chand and Haseena had a tough time explaining the situation to them. The superiors were furious at first, but then Chand and Haseena explained how they feared Pia backing off and Arnab exposing them and that's why they let Pia take her own time to make the correct decision. They also convinced them that now that Pia has accepted the reality and is willing to cooperate, they should concentrate on stopping Maithili from carrying out her evil plans. The superiors were finally convinced and they directed their witch tracker Robin to proceed for New York immediately.
