The last time we spoke to Akashdeep Saigal about the good-looking woman in his company at a party, he told us she was 'just a family friend'. And so we believed him.

But when we spotted him with the same 'friend' at three other events, our curiosity really peaked. We first spotted him at a suburban lounge bar, then at the opening of a new restaurant and then at a charity sports match. At all these events, Akash and his friend seemed to be extremely happy spending time with each other.

All in the family

A friend close of the actor threw some light on their friendship. "Her name is Nicole, and she is very close to Akash's family. I don't think they are dating but just having a good time. Akash is an open person, he will never deny his relationship if he gets into one. At the moment he is totally occupied with the completion of his film."

We called up Akash to ask him how 'fond' he was of Nicole. "I hope you don't read too much into these pictures. Nicole is a very dear friend of mine. There is no doubt that I like spending time with her. In fact, she is more a part of my family than just a friend."

Making sweet music?

Based in the UK, Nicole is a singer. Along with her friend Nikki, she recently cut an album and has released a music video of her track Aaja Pyaar Karle in India. "She's a fantastic singer and I love her songs."

When asked if he will ever think of getting serious about his friendship with Nicole, Akash said, "I will let the world know the day I get into a relationship. I have never hidden my romances from anyone."

At the moment the actor is busy completing the remaining portions of his home production Lotus Dreams. "I am currently concentrating all me energies on the film. After that, I'll be busy with the post production."

Svetta's got a phirang connection too

Just like Akash, spunky TV actress and host Svetta Keswani too has a foreign friend. His name is Alex, and he has done a couple of ad films.

Even though she doesn't like talking about him, there's no denying that the two are good friends.

Close friends confirm that Keswani is fond of him but it's too early to call it a relationship.
