Not much happened today but the two scenes which stood out today to me were definitely the JM flashback. Even seeing them in their old attires made me SO happy!! The classic Behna moments <3 For a minute I thought the flashback must have been shot from before because they looked almost exactly how they used to back then. Secondly, I was more than happy to see the return of the 'Manvi this, Manvi that' jhaap from Jeevika. I could feel her yearning to hear something about Manvi from Viren so she brought her up again and again. Kind of felt bad for her because she was getting no repsonse from her dearest hubby. IMO the essence of Jeevika and Manvi lies in the fact that they are in each others thoughts most of the time...knowingly and unknowingly. The accident may have returned some of Jeevika's original brain cells :O

One thing I'm slightly disappointed about is the lack of chemistry between Virat and Vanshika in today's scene. It could have come out better but something was missing which is a shame because whatever little we saw of their relaitonship, it was heartwraming. There definitely should be more interations between the mother-son duo. A positive sign from today was that she sensed the love between Virat and Manvi. BTW what is with the dramatic zoom ups with Viren and Manvi...I was like OK then. Don't need to make it so OTT that it loses effect.

Lol Reemz even after a posting a topic about the current storyline and behna's you end up bringing up editing. Kidding, not bashing anyone :). But seriously I was thinking the same thing. What's was up with all shots. They weren't even close ups, they zoomed so much on both Maanvi and Viren. Was that really necessary?

Coming to the actual episode, not much happened, but the two scenes that you have mentioned were the highlight of the episode. Firstly Jeevika ranted and raving about Maanvi was a pleasant change and a nice surprise. I do feel for the poor girl, she doesn't even know what has happened, so it's not like she's mentioning Maanvi to irritate Viren. She's simply remember her sister. Somehow the show feels fresh again, simply because the sisters are occupied with each other in all their thoughts.

Loved the flashback, just for them being back in their old attires. No honestly, I truly enjoyed the scene, both the sisters together, like old times. I doubt it was shot that many months ago, however, if they did then this was the perfect moment to use it that clip. However, when they were talking about iron and strength all I could think about was Popeye.

Reemz me agree with u completely, the flasback scene stood out for me too and it was so heart warming to see Jeevika craving for Manvi real bad.I just want to see JM in the same screen space now...really missing the behna magic. Also agree that Virat and his mum scene could have been executed better to give us that feel of mother/son bonding and true say...all that zooming was making me feel giddy...😆.
Viren is just so getting on my nerve...when is his lawer instict going to come into this all?

I know I'm so bad like that! I end up criticising the little things which don't really make that much of a difference. LOL it was like ZOOM ON EYES, ZOOM ON HALF THE FACE!
Exactly! How does Jeevika know what happened? She just wants to see her sister. It feels so good to see both chanting each others names like before :P These accidents should happen more often lol.
Yeh it was definitely shot recently but at first it felt like it had been shot way before. POPEYE OMG SAME! Especially when they were talking about energy lol! When spinanch is mentioned, popeye will alwys be the first image in mind!

Same. Enough of the peek a boo scenes...can we get full-fledged Behna moments like before! You know today when the nurse said she will change Jeevika's bandage, my first thought was 'I hope Manvi offers to do that'. It would be a really sweet scene <3
Viren I could understand at first but he doesn't seem within character atm :\

Omg I firstly want to apologise for my first post, as it was filled with grammatical errors on many different levels. This is the problem when you comment from phone and have no time to go on your laptop.

Definitely these accidents should happen constantly, at least then, Jeevika and Maanvi will be together and as consequence they will be thinking of each other.
Popeye, lol, whenever I think of spinach, he is the first thing that pops into my head. Spinach and strength had Popeye written all over it.

On the over use of zooming, it drags the whole moment. I actually get bored with it, if I'm not fully invested in the scene. If I'm watching it on tv, I'm constantly saying 'hurry up and get to it,' if I'm on the net (or have recorded it) I have the luxury of skipping over it those moments.

Ps- quick thing about Viren. I know he seems cold and overboard at the moment. But, in fact he still has a right to be angry and hold his grudge. (I know people who have kept grudges for years for matters a lot less serious, this has only been two days!) However, in saying that if he wants to keep Maanvi out of Jeevuka's life, he also has to tell her the truth. Is this not the reason why they are stuck in this problem to begin with! Everyone keeping secrets from each other.

Sorry Reemz I'm spamming your topic, I sit here quietly now. 😊

Agree with you.

The theme of the show is being highlighted after a long time.

Also agree about the lack of warmth between Viraat and his mom.
It felt as if he was talking to any Aunty types and being polite about it.

Unfortunately, I also sense this same lack of warmth between Viraat and Maanvi, as well.
Apart from the Jeep scene where he smiled with true affection when gazing at her sleeping face, the rest of the scenes felt no different from initial episodes of the show where they were simply teasing each other.
Perhaps it is because of lack of reciprocity from Maanvi in terms of deeper emotions.
it may be that the chemistry gets stronger once she also expresses her warmer feelings for Viraat.
I am holding out hope.

I prefer this kind of spamming. Vaise bhi aap itna kam bolte ho :P
Oh definitely Viren has all the rights to hold a grudge. He was literally begging to Manvi to save Jeevika's life. He must have felt so helpless but somewhere I just wish he uses his logic and questions whatever happened. I know it won't last for long anyway but maybe this way he will feel so guilty towards Manvi that he will agree to keep the secret from Jeevika? Not that there aren't enough being kept already!!

I think the kitchen scene could have been better. Instead of showing single shots of Manvi wiping Virat's tears, they could have shown them together in one frame. I did love their chemistry in the initial episodes of this week especially when Manvi told Virat to cheer up. That was heartwarming but today not so much.
