yes in normal context a child needs both mother and father and even better if they have brothers/sisters/ grand parents/ cousins etc etc...but

in a context where one is divorced or widowed to re marry for the sake of giving a new parent to the child...is it nessesary? what if the new parent also dies/ divorces...another marriage?
Having been brought up in a metropolitan setting with financially independent parents and having lived abroad I could not digest this concept. If you remarry it should be for ur sake and ofcourse the child will get a parent...but for someting like this to work u need emotionaly compatible partners who discuss things and treat each other as equal and give space.
(We dont see anything of this in ARYA realtion...they dont trust each other, they dont talk...forget discuss/ and yash is not giving her sentiments any respect or space...a very strange marriage indeed.)...lets forget ARYA...who I wish dont exist in real.
a child can be brought up very well by even a single adult...be it mother/father/aunt/uncle or grandparent...all a child needs is food/shelter/ unconditional love. when aarti had such a secure home for ansh...i really dont know why she entered this complicated relationship in the name of giving her son a father (ofcourse we wouid have missed watchign gc everyday)...
what do u guys think...can a child not be brought up well by a single parent...is it necessary to go through remarriage for the sake of ur child?

they hv been married for a week probably and u expect their marrage to hv all those things u mentioned?

yes, i think its best if a child has both...in fact its evident from the show itself

Yash'sparenting has flaws.he has not paid enough attention to his daughters ' feelings and they , esp palak has become cunning!
Aarti's parenting is flawed too..she has been overly attentive, and she is over possessive about ansh, which is making ansh too vulnerable.
Only when both of them handle kids togather, the kids will be fine.

wat is being shown in the show is quite normal.

Yash does respect aarti's sentiments, telling her what he did yesterday does not mean he doesn't respect her, becoz what he said to aarti was true and aarti knew it too, hence that expression on her face! But his handling of ansh should hv been different.
